I leave heavy tips because of that. Heavy meaning $10 and $20 on top of the $120 - $160, depending on what I have done. But I went in about a week ago and the decorations were all about USA, AMERICA, everything was red white and blue. But what really disturbed me were the "1917 star ornaments" that were hanging on the tree. Well that was not a favorable time for Black ppl. So all while I'm getting my nails done I'm looking at all of this and being reminded of the past and current state of America. But in case ICE rolls up, they can say "Hey, we are on your side. We love the racism you're displaying to the Latinos, but we are good. We are with you." I don't hate anyone. The White ppl in their were ok. There were a couple of looks, which I expected. But nothing was said to me. Thank God. Am I mad at this shop? I mean I get it. But at the same time it was very insensitive to Black ppl. That's all I wanted to say.
