When I found out Lynn is managing this practice, I had to warn other people about her. I heard the main doctor is great here, but if she is the helper for the doctor, I would be careful. She talks about things she doesn't know anything about because she thinks she is so smart and above the doctors and will tell you things that are incorrect. She would argue with you because she thinks she knows better than the patient or their family members. It is so dangerous, I had to take my father away from the previous clinic that she worked at because of this assistant. She would say things that would contradict the doctor because she "thought" the doctor was not 100% right about my father's glaucoma care. She even said my father had cataracts before the doctor even said anything! If she is training the people working here, I would be very cautious about the information they give you that isn't from the doctor directly.

I saw Dr. Steven Seto at Eye Clinic of Edmonds for the first time today and I'm impressed. He's honest and very knowledgeable. He answered my questions without any hesitation. While the appointment took longer than expected I couldn't be happier and I will definitely be back. 1. Dr. Seto is an Ophthalmologist not an Optometrist. 2. They didn't charge extra for retina scans. Technically, Dr. Seto visually inspected the retina instead of a machine taking images of your retina. However, here is the difference. The machine only has you looking forward while Dr. Seto's inspection had me looking in all directions. I have a hard time believing the machine was able to capture the sides, top and bottom, but I could be proved wrong. 3. Dr. Seto stated straight up that my vision technically didn't warrant prescription glasses and I could get away with readers from Costco. In this day and age, who is that honest? I have been buying glasses from the other place on 5th every year for seven years. 4. Finally, I could actually get an appointment. The other place doesn't book a year out so you have to call for an appointment since they won't call you. And if you can get an appointment at the other place it won't be with the same optometrist. I walked out of Eye Clinic today with an appointment for next November. Impressive. Can't recommend them enough and if you look at my profile I don't do this very often.

Initially, the optometrist made an error with my prescription, requiring me to return two weeks later for a reevaluation. I had purchased my own frames out of pocket and gave them to the office to insert the lenses. After that visit, I waited weeks for the glasses to arrive, and by the end of November, there was still no sign of them. In December, I was told the glasses had finally shipped, only to be informed later that UPS had "lost" the shipment -- including the frames I personally paid for. Because of this, I had to return yet again for another fitting about three weeks ago. I was assured the new glasses would be shipped directly to my home. Unsurprisingly, they never arrived. When I called last week, I was told there was an issue with their lab and that the glasses would be shipped as soon as possible. When I called again yesterday, I was told they were still at the lab but completed and would be shipped. At that point, I asked to speak with a manager. A staff member told me a manager would call me back, but I never received a call. This has been months of delays, poor communication, repeated mistakes, and zero accountability. If you value your time, money, and sanity, save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere.

A week later I contacted Eye Associates in Edmonds to say my eye had not improved and I needed a prescription eye drop. For two days I made numerous phone calls and send numerous emails to no avail. Finally around 5pm on my second day of asking for help I was told by someone at the clinic that I would Need to come in and have another appointment. Rather than just tell me the first time I called that Shawn Nash was unable to prescribe an eye drop they let me call numerous times and gave me an email to reach him. I have now wasted two full days of finding a competent eye doctor. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS OR SHAWN NASH.

The support staff Andie was amazing! (and the 2 front reception) have been friendly and kind. Dr. Bajenova (and Dr. Chan) are very down to earth, patient and have calm demeanors. They also are real enough to even laugh with you and still be professional. I didn't feel rushed, and I was able to understand the logic of why my particular procedure would be done and why. (Past experience this same situation at NWeye came up, now with this hindsight, the very curt Dr. Did not explain to me WHY she wanted to start with a particular eye first. I felt frusterated, unheard and confused, so i did not have the procedure done, 6 years ago.) I was not upsold anything at Edmonds/Harman eye clinic that I wouldn't need, in fact It was explained that I shouldn't get the most expensive choice i wanted bc it in reality wouldnt make enough of an impact for my sight. Without informing me, they gave me an eye exam, with NO testing for what my prescription should be. Just an exam, no prescription. When I DARED to question them, they told me "we have terminated patients that have spoken out in our office. THEN they sent me a REGISTERED LETTER, telling me they had terminated me. It made me laugh because I would NEVER consider going back to them. They were rude, did not provide the service I needed, and ultimately I went to another doctor, paid for an exam and prescription ( for the second time). Overall it WAS A TERRIBLE experience.

Dr. King was/is probably one of the best doctors I've interacted with for any surgery. I got LASIK…read moredone on my eyes, which were around -4.5 to -6 in prescription. Yikes! We interacted first via zoom call for virtual consult and later I went in for an in-person free consult. He performed thorough testing and was able to schedule me for the same week, which was perfect for my schedule. Overall surgery lasted about 10-15mins but I was at the office in Renton for about 2-3 hours for repeat testing on eyes to make sure they were stable. No issues in surgery and post surgery, while waiting for my spouse was offered more numbing drops. Glad the office was looking out for my well being. Followed up next day with another doctor and was out of the office within 10 mins for a 3-week follow-up. Haven't had any issues so far and got great results. What stood out for me was the last thing Dr. King said, which no doctor has ever said, "Thank you for your trust." Any surgery is stressful to think about, but it's great to see a doctor that values the patient and is meticulous about his work.
