Very professional and reliable and honest. I recommend using him because the company is reliable.

Very responsive & showed up on time. The parts I purchased from Amazon failed within a week...so he is ordering OEM parts & installing those asap! Totally my bad...don't order Washing Machine parts (shock's) from Amazon... Very Helpful & considerate of my time & schedule... read more

With Zero hesitation we called Vasil again but this time for a violently shaking (during final spin), 3-year-old commercial Maytag washer. He called back right away that Saturday and took care of us Monday at 10 am in 30 minutes replacing the necessary part! Works perfectly now, very good price for parts and labor. ( he told us this part which stabilizes the cylinder holding the clothes in TOP load machines only, now lasts only 3-7 years!) He IS the very best, most reliable honest dedicated best quality lasting work! We are lucky to have him!! read more

Vesley was curtious and efficient. He diagnosed my oven issue and suggested I order the part from Amazon and do the install myself saving a $125 service charge. He even sent me the link for the part. Can't beat that for honesty and fairness. read more

I spent the $85 to have this guy come out and shake my washer-tell me it needs shocks/suspension and it would cost $500 to fix so it wouldn't be worth it so I should just buy a new one. I was angry so I talked to the repairman I originally bought the washer from (his store went out of business unfortunately) he informed me that he had replaced the shocks and perhaps they were defective, but the real kicker was he said the shocks only cost $80 so they were ripping me off with a $500 price tag. Feels like these guys just like to go out and steal your money for a service call then tell you the job is too much to be worth it. Pretty great con... wonder how many others they've done this to. read more

Communication is great!! They did a great job for a reasonable price. Pleasant experience.

Prompt response to my service issues. Technician arrived the following day at the time promised. Technician was knowledgeable and friendly. He fixed my refrigerator in a quick manner . He had performed routine maintenance during his visitation and promised the frig would start working correctly. He was totally correct and I was thrilled with the technician and the work performed. Samsung refrigerators can be problematic and tough to repair. Thanks again for quality service at a great price ! read more

Vasilii did a great job with replacing the washing machine door seal. He promptly responded to my Yelp service request, provided next day service, arrived within the estimated time range, explained the details of the job, and tested the door seal for leakage before successfully completing the job. His flat service rate was also affordable. Nice work Vasilii! Would recommend to others and would use your services again in the future. read more

Prompt response, repaired refrigerator quickly, and considerate repairman. This will be my go to in the future.

Last night our Samsung dryer had the Hc warning. That is over heating. I looked up and did everything from making sure there was no lint obstruction etc (researching online)... well, there was one thing left, the thermostat. I called this morning and they arrived by this afternoon and fixed/replaced the part way faster than I could have. (If I could have)... very professional and wonderful service. Thank you! read more

Caveat Emptor! I called them to fix a dishwasher that did not drain. After spending an hour, the tech did not fix the problem, but said he needed to order more parts. It should be noted that this is a hand to mouth operation with no inventory If parts are needed, they have to be ordered and installed in a second visit. I was given a bill for $293.46. A reputable appliance repairman fixed the problem in less than is 15 minutes with no new parts for $119. read more

Our refrigerator was leaking water (puddles on the floor) and we had no idea where it was coming from. We called Set appliances who almost immediately, without even coming out, knew what was wrong with it. Vaselii, the owner, came out the next day. He was correct and within an hour the situation was fixed. He was knowledgeable, professional, and services were reasonably priced. We highly recommend Set Appliance and would certainly use them again, Phil Sions read more

Excellent work, professionally done. Explained the problem and fixed it quickly. I highly recommend SET Appliance.

I am very impressed with Vasilii's knowledge and excellent service. My refrigerator stopped keeping cold. He diagnosed the problem as needing a new heater but they don't make them anymore for my 20 year old frig. The cabinets above were low and new frigs wouldn't fit. He called other businesses and found me the correct heater! He installed it exactly when he said he would- the day before my renter arrived! He's a savior! Call him for your service! read more

Vasilii is the best! We had him fix our washer and he did it in record time. He was very responsive when setting up our appointment and answered all her questions promptly. He's very honest and will make sure the jobs done correctly. read more

Had to cancel the service call. Receptionist didn't speak English well enough to understand. They set a time to arrive and I said it was okay if they came early in the 4 hr window they set...then they didn't come during the first 2 hrs and 45 minutes, so I called, no one answered...they finally called back and didn't seem to even know who was suppose to show up, so I canceled. Then they called back saying they found the appointment, but I told them to cancel. read more

There's a reason Vasily has these great reviews! He diagnosed the problem with our gas oven, ordered the part, made a 2nd trip and repaired it very quickly, (checking operation twice before leaving, which has been a problem with other repair services in the past) with minimal intrusion, great communication, and very reasonable cost! I'll be passing his name around for sure! read more

Did a great job. Quick, friendly, honest. Will use them again for any appliance issues.

Honesty in the evaluation of my microwave problem and didn't try to push the costly repair. He also pointed out the downside of making the repair and the risk I would take of it breaking again. read more

Quick response and efficient repair! Very professional and pleased. I will use this repair service again.

I reached out to a few servicers since I my refrigerator repair wasn't urgent, so I expected to not be ready to choose one until after the weekend. I was, though, very encouraged by the Yelp reviews for SET Appliance, partly because of the high praise, partly because of the reasonable service visit charge, and partly because I wanted to support a local proprietor instead of a larger corporation. When Vasilii responded during his normally closed time and was available within a few hours, I jumped at the opportunity. He did not disappoint. The fix was far simpler than I had suspected and he had everything working again in minutes. There was no upsell and no pressure, just simple honest service. I'm thrilled and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. read more

Very responsive and reliable. We highly recommended his services and will use him for future projects.

Vasilii is the most ethical man I've ever met. He came to my home to fix my refrigerator. Unfortunately the problem proved too difficult for him to diagnose. He apologized for not being able to fix it and left. When I called him later to pay him for his time, he refused to take any money. Vassili is an amazing reminder of what integrity is all about. He impressed the hell out of me. I will call him for future repairs. read more

We were worried we had to buy a new dishwater, but Vasilii came and fixed my GE dishwasher within 30 minutes. I would highly recommend him!

Vasili is a true gentleman and an excellent technician. He was here on time, communicated clearly, charged reasonable rates for service and parts, had no difficulty accomplishing the needed work, obtained needed parts without difficulty, AND MOST OF ALL, I asked him if he could check my sisters dishwasher which was not operating ,or set up an appointment to service it and after he finished with my dryer he immediately went to her nearby house, diagnosed the problem within a very short time, fixed the issue and he did it for NO CHARGE! That's SERVICE!!! He repairs a variety of appliances with the exception of TVs and vacuums. I would highly recommend him. read more

These guys are awesome. I had just bought a house and requested service because my gas stove wasn't functioning. They asked me to check a few things rather than jumping on a service call. I appreciated that because it shows integrity on their part. Turns out I forgot to get the gas to the house turned on, so it saved me some money, as they didn't need to do a service call after all. I really appreciate that. read more

I'd had two other people out to try and fix my Whirlpool dishwasher and they both charged me service calls to say that the problem was the chip code needing to be reset and that it would be cheaper to get another dishwasher. Anton from SET Appliance showed me why the chip was not a problem and he then looked at the underside of the unit (which neither of the others had done) and said he was confident that it needed a new circulation pump. He phoned in the part order, came back a few days later, installed the new pump, and I now have a perfectly working dishwasher at a cost well below that of a new one, paying for delivery, hauling away the old one, new hose and installation kit (they make you buy this if Lowes or Home Depot install it), taxes and misc. costs. Also, the Biscuit color I need is very difficult to obtain and would require a lengthy special order. Anton also noted that my enclosure and tank are both stainless steel and that the new ones are mostly plastic now... read more

Our dishwasher stopped working on Friday and the soonest our normal appliance service could schedule us was almost a week later. We read some of the reviews for Set and gave them a call and they came promptly on Monday. They solved the problem quickly and most impressively, with no "up-selling". Polite and courteous and we highly recommend them. read more

I used these guys for my freezer that wasn't cold. They came quickly. The tech was young and had no experience w a SubZero fridge. However, using the internet he made the correct diagnosis - failed starter relay. Charged me $85 for this visit but didn't have the part to repair. Called me back and quoted me $465 for the relay!!! I bought it at Mullets for $53 incl tax. Installed it myself in 5 mins. What a RIPOFF!!! Avoid these guys. Low service fee then crazy part quotes! read more

I've had the same GE refrigerator for 15 years. It seems like every year or so either the water dispenser or ice maker would 'stop' working. We've been through four different repairman via the GE warranty repair service. Parts were ordered and installed but....same problem. We eventually stopped using the water dispenser a few years ago and kept on replacing the ice maker. I decided to use Yelp and contact SET Appliance for one last try before giving in and purchasing a new unit. Thanks goodness I did! The service was prompt, the diagnosis was spot on, and the fee was fair. The repair had nothing to do with the parts that were repeatedly replaced by others. Within a week our new part was in and Vasil returned to finish the job. I highly recommend this service. read more

After SEARS came out and "looked" at my 4 year-old Kenmore Dishwasher and said "new pump", I called SET Appliance for Repair and Vaselii came out and actually "examined" the problem, cleaned out the completely clogged 4 year-old drain line and FIXED! I highly recommend SET Appliance. Very quick response, and Vasilii of SET Appliance Repair would not stop until he was able to identify a really tough problem with my Whirlpool refrigerator (a faulty wire in a wiring bundle going to the freezer side door). I would describe his approach as a Doctor of Appliance Repair. Other appliance repair companies in the area seem to change out parts until the problem is solved, NOT SET Appliance. They first find the problem! This is a very professional business. Thank you Vasilii! read more
