Sign the waiver start walking out the door the kid behind the counter says yeah return this all by 5. I told him my online reservation said 10:55 8hr duration. He said "okay we close at 5" we decided to quickly get to the beach and enjoy the literal 1:30 mins we had with our rentals. I decided to give the store a call to get an understanding why the online said 8 hrs if they closed at 5 and needed everything back by 5. He said oh idk but we close at 5. Seemed to the only sentence he knew. Rushed back to return bc he did state if they were not brought back by 5 then we would be charged. Im upset bc I would have never made a reservation for chairs at 230 and pick up the chairs at 3 if I knew I was on a time crunch( 70 dollars!!!!!! ) i definitely wouldn't have added a umbrella for 30 dollars. When I returned our items I told the worker he should have let us know prior us walking out the door that we had till 5. And that they should fix their website bc it wasn't correct and he said yeah well we close at 5. (Annoying) I told him I was t happy about it and I would leave a review and contact the manager and be said okay that's fine and he said "what do you expect me to do about it" Also the umbrella/tent was awful. It was broken and wouldn't click to hold in place . We didn't even use it. It was a waste of 100 dollars. Don't reserve on the website I guess and go in person ask question. I honestly wouldn't have been so upset about it if the worker gave acknowledgment of the website being wrong or even apologized for it. And should have told us about the time of Return before we decided to add on an umbrella and I prolly wouldn't have been pleased had we gotten our moneys worth with the chairs

During my adventuring my friends and I rented several wetsuits, surf boards, and paddleboards from Air. There are not many locations in the greater Charleston/ Mt. Pleasant area area that rent wet suits, but I'm glad we found Air. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. They answered our questions, helped us secure the gear to our car, and even let us borrow some extra cables. The gear itself, especially the wetsuits, were all high quality items and in excellent condition. And because we were renting in the off season, we were offered some great long term/ group rental discounts. Surfing at folly beach and isle of the palms was excellent, and Air made it all possible.

It's one young guy (Eric) with a painted van. So if something goes wrong you have no recourse beyond him, and a Yelp review, such as this. Also, you have to pay in advance so you can't hold anything back if you are dissatisfied. We signed up for lessons, but the day of the lesson there was no wind. Eric encouraged us to come out anyhow saying the wind might change. It didn't. He taught my kids to set up the kite on the beach and spent about 10 minutes flying it from the beach. Then called it a day. Tried again that week, same thing. So my 3 kids never even touched the water yet he charged us $600! He said there are NO refunds but that we could use it to buy merchandise in the store. Well, come to find out there is NO store. We got nothing in return. I tried to fight it but he said we got a "land lesson". Omg. $600 for something totally worthless. I would not hire Eric unless you have a lot of money to potentially waste. I live closer than any Kiawah residents (Cassique is 2 miles), while the Marsh Oak condos at Bohicket Marina (Seabrook) are indeed closer than my house. This year I was told by management that they "never" offered discounts to anyone other than Seabrook Club or Kiawah Club members with a Club card. My years of receipts prove otherwise. It's hard for me to continue to support a local business when they are claiming they never had a policy that existed. It's fine if they choose to change their policy, but please do not lie about it.
