Booked a 4 hour charter for 3 leaving at noon. There was free parking in the marina. They had a cooler for a 6 pack and some waters. Dry storage for other snacks and belonging. Our guide Craig got us out on the water right around 12:00. We had hooks in the water around 12:15 ish. We fished a few different spots. Caught a few small fish that we threw back and one shark. We eventually caught a Redfish that we brought home. Craig filet'd the fish and packed it in ice for us to take. RedFin provides everything and showed us how to bait our lines and cast them out. We learned so much about the different types of fish, fish behaviors, and much more. We had a great time. Would I go back? Absolutely. Looking forward to it actually.

I could barely move my arms this morning from reeling in so many fish yesterday! Rusty at Redfin had everything set up for our adventure. The rods rigged and ready. Cooler with cold beverages. He hit the honey spot for bait first net cast and we were quickly on our way out to begin a successful day catching Cobia, Proggies, Red vermillion and Snapper! Saw sharks, plenty of barracudas, jelly fish, sea turtles and dolphins. The day could not have been more perfect. We would definitely choose Redfin for our next fishing trip. Thanks Rusty for a perfect 10 day!

What fun! Captain Howie is a good guy, professional and enthusiastic. We caught a Redfish and several sharks. We would absolutely do it again.

Captain Ryan was the best!!! We had an AMAZING day!!! We caught the elusive Cobia, 38 pounds!!! We also caught one of the largest Red Bull and Bowhead Shark.......I drove 12 hours from Cleveland Ohio and it was worth all 1501 miles, I would do it again in a "heartbeat". Captain Austin was amazing to watch him filet my 38-pound Cobia. This was one of the BEST days of my life!!!! Thank you RedFin Charter!!!

Highly recommend Redfin Charters for a great day of fishing. Austin was super knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and all around fun dude. Went out with 4 family members and Austin took us to great spots so we all caught fish. Grand total of 15 fish for the day. Easy to make reservations and access the marina. Great day on the river!

The girls...freezing cold but still having fun.

We had 2 boats. Boys against the girls. We had Austin (girls) and Patrick (boys). Austin was so amazing. He showed us how to fish and it was a true princess fishing experience. He put our bait on, handed us the poles and didn't matter what happened, he was there for us. We caught 14 fish which included 2 oysters. What a great experience we had. The boys only caught 1 but it was a 30" red fish. Their experience was not nearly as good as the girls as they never got to hold the poles only when they caught the 1 fish and the guide told them to pick up the pole. He did all the casting. Taylor was great with all scheduling and getting everything in order for our boy/girl competition. The reason I give them a 5 star is because of Austin. He was just so excited to see us girls having a great time catching fish and was truly joy to have as our guide. We would for sure ask for Austin again.

The first one told me about the importance of marshland, but was hard to read because it was very faded. The second, more solid and legible sign / plaque, gave us a history of how the park got it's name and who she was. The views from this end of the park are nice and you can see the new construction of the Children's Center and the Marina along Lockwood Blvd. Pelicans could be see diving in to the water for breakfast, so we stopped to watch that for a minute. Benches are available for sitting if you are so inclined. Overall, a nice quaint park for sitting and meditating.

Directly across from the harbor, it mainly consists of an overflow pond, a fishing dock and a couple of benches under the shade of oak trees. You can relax and take in the peacefulness around you, watch the locals fish, or catch a few yourself. You have to park in the private parking lot of the condos just off of Lockwood, but I have never had a problem with this. There is not a lot of room for kids to run around but it is a cool spot to share with bigger kids who are interested in fishing. Overall though it is a great place, especially if you just need to take a minute or two for yourself.

Some put their toe over the line. I was in ankle deep! Women wanted me, men wanted to be me. The easy part was the short walk to see the view or setup a chair. You can watch as the fisherman cast lines or watch the sunset. The parking lot has only 10 spots, but it wasn't an issue for us. Seems like cars wouldn't stay to long. I would recommend stopping by for a short bit, but due to the water restrictions and therefore ocean **cough cough** restroom restrictions I wouldn't stay long.

What a beautiful (dangerous) place to hang out. Breach Inlet separates the island of Sullivan's…read moreIsland and Isle of Palm passable by bridge. Each side of the Inlet has it's own personality. On the Sullivan's Island side there is a parking lot with a few historical markers telling visitors the story that Breach Inlet played in the American Revolution; in 1776 that the British could not ford the inlet and take Sullivan's Island on foot, many drowning trying to cross the inlet from what is now IOP to Sullivan's Island. On the IOP side there is a footpath through the brush to get to the inlet and from there you can head left to get the beach at Isle of Palm. Both sides have small parking lots and small beaches that you can fish off of. Swimming the Inlet is illegal, because it is so dangerous and I've witness currents take skiers flying off; only to be saved by life jackets they were wearing. Many people have drowned in this water. But it is a great place to come fish, wade (not swim) in the water, or just hang out on a nice day.
