They had the best prices of anyone especially with the zero percent financing on their Stihl mowers. They gave me a reasonable trade-in for my old Ferris and I ended up buying a Stihl RZ752i Zero Turn. And they were throwing in the upgraded suspension seat at no additional cost! JR and the rest of the staff were amazing throughout the process and JR actually helped me decide between the Stihl RZ552 and the RZ752i. I changed to the RZ752i and sure glad I did! I have about 10 hours on it and it's been outstanding, great ride, nice cut and just feels like a high quality machine! The only hiccup was the that assembler failed to tighten the battery cables so after about 7 hours it failed to start and there was some "arcing" from the loose connection. Easy fix, tightened up the connections and no further issues. Would not hesitate to buy again from the guys and so impressed that I'm willing to drive the 40 miles from my house and have them do the scheduled maintenance on it. In my opinion, you can't go wrong giving these guys a chance to earn your business.

This young man was rude, arrogant, looked me and acted like he thought he was superior to me. He kept smirking and looking down his nose. He was very dismissive. He took my payment, I went to my car and realized that I had NO verification of services/ acknowledgement ... just a receipt showing DEBIT CARD PAYMENT. I went back into the store to get proof that I had dropped off my machine ... chain of custody ... This guy, smirked at me and said, "I can print you out one." He should have printed one right along with my payment receipt. I should not have had to ask for something that is owed to me, as a customer. A young Black employee, stood nearby, while this person continued to demonstrate blatantly apathetic unprofessionalism. It's River Oaks! Historically known for harboring racists and racist-acting people. This white guy treated me like he was doing me a favor. He treated white customers with respect. This is the second time we've used this business. Our first experience was a positive one, but this…read moretime was a nightmare. First, it took significantly longer than expected for them to even look at our backpack blower. When they finally did, they told us there were multiple things wrong with it, including the carburetor. The ironic part? My husband had just replaced the carburetor himself with a cheap Amazon part, now knowing it wasn't great quality but that he could easily replace it with a better quality one. Had we paid them to fix everything they said was wrong, it would have cost more than we paid for the blower in the first place. So, we asked if they could fix everything except the carburetor, since that was something my husband could handle himself. Their answer? A very firm NO. Their reasoning was that they guarantee their work and couldn't guarantee it if they didn't fix everything they knew was wrong with the blower. I even offered to sign a waiver acknowledging that they wouldn't be responsible for the carburetor. Still, NO. At no point had anyone communicated that we would be required to pay to have EVERYTHING fixed or they wouldn't fix anything at all. That's a pretty significant detail to leave out! Yet, I was still required to pay the diagnostic fee. What makes this even more frustrating is that we were told the diagnostic fee would be applied toward whatever repairs we decided to have done. Otherwise, we'd be out the diagnostic fee. But there's a big difference between that and being told you have to pay to fix EVERYTHING or they won't fix ANYTHING. Had we known that upfront, we could have made an informed decision before bringing it in. When you take your car to a mechanic, you can typically choose which repairs you can afford and have them warranty the work they actually perform. Why is that not an option here? I'll admit, I was beyond angry by this point, largely because this policy was never communicated to us beforehand. But here's the kicker: Before we ever took our blower to A&B, it actually WORKED. We just had to make sure we didn't leave gas in the tank between uses, but it would still start and run just fine. Now? It doesn't even START. I considered taking it back to them and demanding they fix it, but I could already imagine them repeating the same policy over and over again. So instead, I'm leaving this review to warn others. What kind of customer service is this? I understand that businesses have policies, but those policies need to be communicated upfront, and customers should have reasonable options when it comes to repairs. Save yourself the frustration and find someone else to fix your equipment.
