Well we had a flood in our basement and of course like most homeowners we didn't know what to do so we started Google searching for restoration companies up came so we called them they came out very quickly I have to stay within 45 minutes I was thinking wow this is amazing what a great fast response company the technician came in put his little gizmos on the wall told me that the walls were really wet while I was standing in water. So without further ado he brings all of his machines in start plugging them in and setting them up. He packed his stuff up yet ready to leave leaving the machines behind the meanwhile the whole time I'm thinking in my head there's a half inch of water everywhere and he just said a bunch of fans and things on the floor and he's not going to leave and the water is still present. So that seemed pretty much useless so the next morning we own a construction company we called some of our subcontractors in and we started demoing the wet areas the Servo attendant came back seemed very aggravated that we had started the demo. Like if we had stolen some of his money. He makes a remark under his breath saying too bad your guys here don't have their own blowers and humidifiers or you could have just hired them hahaha. So the next morning the adjuster shows up at the house we asked him a bunch of questions like how long are they supposed to leave the machines here being paid for by the insurance company insurance adjuster reminds me that it's only three days that they pay the attend it returns to my home and I tell him the adjuster said only 3 days for the machine he tells me the adjuster doesn't know what he's talking about and he's never heard that before in his life I told him listen that is what the adjuster told to me so how does this work well he keeps asking me what my limits are over and over again he tells me this is how it works we leave the machines until they're dry so I say what if its 5 days who pays for that after the adjuster only told me three he did not answer so I come to the conclusion that that was a homeowner's expense and would come out of our remodeling money. So at this point we've done all the clean up and all they've done is bring some machines and Jackie them around a little bit here and there once a day. So now comes day 2 the attendant shows up again 3 o'clock or so start cleaning up all of his machines and wrapping them up saying everything looks pretty good I must rephrase again he says everything looks pretty good I was hoping for everything is perfectly dry but that's just me I guess so I start snooping around because that's the kind of person I am of course I don't believe anyone and lo and behold there's all kinds of wet spots underneath the bar and some of the two-by-fours are wet he says he took them with the meter but he didn't want to do it in front of me but I could clearly see things were still wet and I still had one more day of insurance money to keep the machine's going but now that they realized that they weren't going to put them in there for 5 days and have me pay for it the other two of course and I knew the jig was up the game was over and out the door they went. Last but not least when the technician finally left our home he dragged his machines out of here across the wood floor a very expensive wood floor I might add left water spots all over the floor and didn't even bother cleaning it up like it didn't matter because now we were just a chump change homeowner that wasn't going to pay the big bucks no sense of giving all the bells and whistles I guess one of the things that threw me off the most with this company was they are a franchised base company anyone can buy one you could be a mechanic one day and next day you're a water specialists that's very alarming. I'm not saying the company is bad and anyway this has no reflection on the company itself nor should it be taken that way this is just a facts 100% realistic occurrence. read more

DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WORST COMPANY EVER!! Screwed up everything they touched, had to be fired, then we conceded (to get our stuff back after fire) and re-hired and even that was a mess. Nightmare from start to finish....we are STILL trying to finish though they got paid, we are still cleaning our home properly. Stay away stay away stay away. They lie, cheat, make up stuff on billing (looking over one now) and when you get angry since it's your home and your things, they behave like children and will only talk to certain people. Our basement carpet got soaked after the sump pump failed to work. Within 90 minutes of calling Servpro, they arrived at our home to assess the damage and give us an estimate. Within another 90 minutes, their crew arrived and started working. After a few days, the project was totally completed and our basement was in great shape -- like it never happened. When my condo unit got flooded and needed repairs, Servpro was assigned to doing the mitigation and repairs on my walls and ceiling. I had plaster walls and we had agreed that they would replace the plaster walls again. I constantly asked them about putting plaster walls. They reassured me that they would. After they finished. I went to my unit and saw that they had put joint compound instead. The people from Servpro are a bunch of dishonest folks and just want to milk your money, victimizing those who are already struggling financially. Don't use Servpro. read more

I'm so glad I was able to get SERVPRO to come out. My hot water heater had a leak and we didn't see it until later.
