Jim has helped us twice now and I would highly recommend him! Both times he was incredibly helpful, honest, and knowledgeable. Most recently, I contacted him because we had water damage in our bathroom and were really concerned about possible mold. He came out the very next day, was very pleasant to work with, and took the time to thoroughly look everything over and explain what he was seeing and what we needed to do next. What I really appreciated was how fair and honest he was. He didn't try to scare us into doing unnecessary work or spending more money than we needed to. He gave us a clear plan for drying, cleaning, and treating the area, and even recommended a place where we could rent a dehumidifier for less than another option we were considering. He was also extremely generous with his time and help, which we really appreciated. It's refreshing to find someone who is knowledgeable, honest, and genuinely seems more concerned with giving you good advice than trying to make money off the situation. He definitely knows his stuff. I would absolutely call him again if we ever have another issue or concern and would highly recommend him to anyone dealing with water or mold problems. read more

I was lucky enough to find him- he is Jim Conroy(God sent him from heaven that day). He didn't hesitate to come to the house on a busy Sunday. He is so reliable, patient, honest and knowledgeable. His kindness is so admirable. I highly recommend him. He is such a good human being. I can't thank you enough Jim! -Violet from Kaneohe- read more

Excellent service and customer relations! I'm not sure what happened with the 1-star review & empathize greatly, as I know it is highly stressful when fire or water damage to your home and contents! The crew was efficient, kept me updated when a previous job was running late, and had helpful information as it's the first time I had to deal with water damage. Everyone was extremely patient and professional, responding right away when I had questions and quickly sent damage reports via email so I could forward to my insurance company (which I am changing soon & you can see my upcoming review on them later!). Many thanks to Jim, Tyson, Adam, and the other technician who came with Adam, I'm so sorry but I don't remember his name as it's been 2 months to get everything back to normal & get the insurance money to pay them! They are worth every penny! read more

If you want HONESTY, integrity, trustworthy, and knowledgeable service, this is the company to go to for remediation! Tracey was so sharp and on-the-ball with information and the forms that needed to be filled out. And Jim Conroy, the owner, went out of his way to clearly explain water and mold issues. He was honest and spent quite some time doing a thorough inspection of my place. Thank you for being such a wonderful Company!!! read more

Jim and Cullen are fantastic, and I can't recommend them enough. The neighbor's kitchen leaked into my walk-in closet, causing a huge mess in my condo. Jim was reassuring and talked me through things and was able to get Cullen out the very next day to start work. Cullen was so professional and informative and made things way less stressful. I have had other work done in my condo and those other companies I used were meh (at best). ServiceMaster are exceptional. Highly, highly recommend!!!! read more

The team at ServiceMaster Restore renewed my faith in humanity! They are friendly, considerate, patient, responsive, and operate with great integrity and do excellent work! I unfortunately had my condo's entire bathroom wiped out due to an ongoing major leak from a unit above. It was a very difficult and trying situation due to the uncooperative nature of the owner responsible in resolving the issue. The leaking spanned almost 2 years and ServiceMaster was there to help mitigate and attempt rebuild on multiple occasions! They never turned away or got frustrated at the ongoing situation and finally we were able to rebuild to completion! The bathroom looks better than it did before everything happened. Thank you ServiceMaster Restore! Big shout out to Robert, Thomas, Ben, Dan, Vernon, and Jim! It definitely took a team. Mahalo a million times over. read more

This is super late but better late than never, right? Unfortunately our house got totaled in the April flood. Over 2 feet of yucky water swept thru our home and ruined everything. We didn't know where to start but our neighbor who is a property manager recommended Service Master Restore. The owner Jim was so kind and even though he was swamped, he took care of us. It was a huge job cleaning out the mud, tossing water damaged furniture, tearing out drywall and drying everything. Jim and his crew did an awesome job and they were so kind and understanding with my poor mom who was totally freaking out. It took months to get it done- the crew had to rotate between the numerous jobs. He worked with our insurance adjuster and was patient in receiving our payment. It wasn't cheap, mind you but considering what was done, the price was fair. Jim was responsive to my calls and got back to me in a timely manner and always kept me in the loop as far as when they would return. Must have been a big headache trying to juggle all the jobs. Everything was ready for the contractor to come in. I appreciated the workers for being so professional ( our other neighbor used a different company and their workers were.....omg!) Thank you Jim for everything! I am confident in recommending this company although I hope you will never be in a situation to use them read more

This is really late, but I had to write it. Jim Conroy and his company, Service Master are the best. We met via NextDoor. The floor in my hallway was leaking and I didn't know who to call. Jim volunteered to look at my floors since he lived close by. There was absolutely no pressure. I valued his expertise, his honesty, and his positive attitude. Service Master took care of the problem. Throughout the entire process, Jim dropped by several times to help. We appreciate his ability to connect with his clients. On our request, he was able to connect us to a great plumber and a restoration company. read more

We had fire & smoke damage from our neighbor's fire. We hired Servicemasters, they picked up ALL our soft goods, clothes, etc to try and salvage it..fast forward 3 WEEKS THEY LOST OUR CLOTHES!!! After waiting three weeks for our clothing, they submitted them late with a "rush order" and brought us SOMEONE ELSE'S CLOTHES! On top of that, they told the insurance adjuster they had returned ALL OUR ITEMS days before except 3 pairs of shoes which was a LIE. Because of this, the insurance company improperly denied our relocation coverage. We are left to spend thousands of dollars of personal money because of their INCOMPETENCE. Many times the owner Jim said if you're not satisfied with just our cleaning we can do more, but after another adjuster said more should be done, we requested that but Jim's company went silent and did NOT do more to remediate the home. His project manager Rob came over and reviewed things saying that, "Normally we discard the porous goods," and "They need to clean this better." He also said he would email the insurance adjuster and inform them about the porous items being replaced due to smoke damage. However, he waited to do so and when asked about it he replied, "Hopefully tonight I have personal things to take care of today." It's been days and he did NOT email the adjuster regarding these issues until after this Yelp review was published. The email from Rob at Servicemaster then said "Furniture needs to be replaced? - My answer furniture has no smell what so ever." This is the opposite of what he said while in the home just a few days prior. These Deceptive business practices are unacceptable. This company is a lot of talk but no action. They lose your items and don't follow through. If you want to have a WORSE SITUATION after dealing with a fire and smoke damage, Servicemasters is your company for that. read more

The saga of our kitchen flooding continues! Plus more! So after a 2 1/2 weeks of hearing NOTHING about our incident our homeowner's association had finally sent an insurance claims adjuster to our unit. However, there was nothing left of the "damage". After the claims adjuster left and hearing what he had to say, I felt so uneasy. I didn't know who else to contact, so I called Jim in a panic. Thinking if there were no evidence of the flooding left behind, how can a claim possibly be processed sufficiently?!?! Jim was, once again, GREAT! He emailed me all the pictures he had taken of our kitchen (before and after) and the state of our living conditions afterward. He also reassured me that he has had no problems when dealing with our homeowner's insurance company. I felt at ease again. About a week later, my neighbor's bathroom flooded. This happened after 9pm. After a conversation with the emergency hotline for our homeowner's association was unsuccessful, we discovered that Servicemaster Restore....was 24/7! By that time, it was 10pm. We were so estatic that Jim answered the phone! Although he had some not so good news for my neighbors, he reassured them that he would be there to help the next day. Jim and his team, they've really been GREAT through this mess of an experience for us. I don't know how else to express my gratitude for them. read more

We had a mold problem at our townhouse and Jim was terrific in helping us resolve our problem quickly and effectively. The company is reasonably priced - you will not find another company of this quality at its prices. Everything was cleaned and rebuilt beautifully. Jim and his staff were prompt and courteous. Jim even went out of his way to show up the same day we called with our problem. He was very informative, easy to work with and funny. read more

What can I say about ServiceMaster and Jim the owner... If this was a comic book story, Jim would be the super Hero! His company, from the start has been tremendously helpful, during a very stressful time. His response to our water damage loss, was fast and efficient. Within the next day of speaking with him, he sent out Adam, to bring in equipment to dry out water damage. He explained, and was so helpful in dealing with our insurance company, and even spoke with our adjuster to advise the situation. Without going into too much detail of the damages to our home, let's just say Jim is a man of integrity, honesty, and character! He truly cares about helping people, during a stressful time, and we're so thankful our insurance company contacted him, to help us. Hopefully, if you're reading this, you'll never need to call Jim, but rest assured, if you need someone that will help with damages, or loss to your home 24/7, he's your man. It's nice to know, there are still good people in the world, that actually take pride and gratitude in helping others. Thank you again Jim and ServiceMaster! read more

I had a slow leak from what I learned recently seemed to be from my fridge's ice maker water pump. Over time, water worked its way under my vinyl plank flooring. I wasn't sure where the water came from. I just noticed water would squeeze up between the planks when I walked on it. I was hoping that the water would eventually dry up if I kept wiping it up, but instead it got worse over time. Finally, apart from contacting a plumber to find the source of a possible leak, I contacted my insurance company. I was referred to 2 companies that dealt with water damage. I called the first company and I got an answering machine. It said the mailbox was full and it hung up on me. Irritated, I tried the second number and Jim answered right away. He was friendly over the phone and I felt at ease. Tracy and Jim worked around my schedule and came over. They cut out a piece of the flooring that would not be noticeable and set up their machines. Jim came over a couple times later to check on the progress. No mold was detected and the water under my flooring was basically gone. My insurance company denied my claim because they said the water was not a sudden problem. Since I would have to pay out of pocket, Jim gave me a very reasonable price which I am very grateful for. Tracy and Jim were great to work with. I hope I never need their services in the future, but if I do I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. read more

There is no one like Jim in the business. He has integrity. He is honest. He is professional. I would go to him again and again. His team of Jason Collins and Tyson are professional, quick, and efficient. They are the best! If I could give them 10 stars I would. Jim goes above and beyond. When Allstate refused to pay for our claim Jim stepped in. He is our hero. Thank you, Jim! You are an answer to prayers. read more

My name is Orlando Salazar. I don' write reviews routinely. I do only when I can be completely honest through out the entire review, which is the case today. Our home suffered extensive damage from a blocked portion of the sewer system outdoors that in a short span of time had practically every thing inside the house standing in nasty contaminated water. Soon after a frantic call to our Insurance Company, we had Service Master of Kailua in the premises taking notes and at the same time explainig accurately what had to be done in order to mitigate the existing situation of our home. Yes, we did have some difficult days and moments of discomfort too, but the fact is that at the end of the whole process we were in total amazement with the results Service Master had accomplished for us. In all, we are very grateful to Mr. Jim Conroy and each and every one in his team for the wonderful workmanship, their dedication and high sense of responsibility to their duties. I hope not a single person who gets to read this review will have a similar event but if you ever do, you ought to remember my review because is honest and sincere to the core. Best to all at Service Master of Kailua. read more

We had severe flood damage due to the 4/13/19 rain storm. The day after the flood Jim & his staff fought traffic to get to our house. We had over 1 1/2 feet of water in our home. They worked diligently & efficiently to mitigate the flood damages. They are knowledgeable, professional & courteous. They worked long hours to get the job done. They took care of removing carpet/flooring, cabinets, & everything water damaged. They were even were to remove my solid surface countertop without damaging it. The people who reinstalled our counters were impressed, & couldn't believe that a restoration company did such a great job removing the counters that they were able to reinstall my original counters. Jim, Tracy & their awesome staff took care of us like we were family during our time of crisis. They went above & beyond what they were hired for. We are forever grateful, & send a big MAHALO to Jim, Tracy & their staff! We highly recommend ServceMaster Restore for any restoration emergencies you have. read more

Jim was prompt in returning my call, setting up a time to view the property to be cleaned, and getting the job done quickly and efficiently. He took care in identifying potential issues, asking about specific items to be retained, and calling me over if he had any questions about the items. He and his crew cleaned an entire apartment home exactly in the way it needed to be done, met all of the expectations I had for the condition it would be in at job completion, and was both professional and personable while doing the job.
