We had some dog smudges in the bottom corners of our cellular shades from them peeking their heads out the window. We were so excited for our house to look and feel refreshed. Cody brought our shades back after construction finished. They were black. (See picture.) Our top rail has a giant scrape across the top. (See picture.) one blind came back with a broken spring. Cody stood by his work, said he would clean them again, and he would contact Bali about the broken spring. And although it was not an ideal solution, he offered to find a paint to match our rail and touch it up. We agreed. Cody was anything but careful with our blinds when he was removing them from our windows. His hands were dirty. He threw them into his van without using blankets. Again, I was nervous but trusted the professional. We got our blinds back May 28, he installed them, again with dirty hands. It didn't take long before we realized our blinds were damaged. Every single blind is scraped and dented. (See pictures.) There are black finger prints on the shades. Cody offered to paint our blind rails but because every blind would be painted, we told him that we didn't feel good about that. He said he would check with Bali about replacing the bottom rails. We have called, we have texted, we have sent his business messages on Facebook. Cody has not called back, he has not texted back, but he responded on messenger saying we would get a refund. $309. He didn't tell us how or when we would get the refund. He also has not followed up on solutions for our damaged blinds. We are still waiting... We are completely disappointed in the service he provided, lack of communication, and are now stuck with damaged and dirty blinds. If we could turn back time, I would have never worried about the minimal dog smudges... I do not recommend 417 Cleaning Connection.l

They scraped the old ceiling finish off, and relocated and replaced a busted attic access. The rehung multiple doors, replaced busted deck steps, and built a huge fence and RV gate for me. The work was extensive, and the pricing for the fence was super reasonable and it came out crazy nice! Honestly I was surprised at the quotes as I expected them to try to take me to the cleaners as most of the contractors I have dealt with out here were super pricey. Change out a light switch plate? Sure, for twenty bucks. Here's the kicker though, and what sets them apart from the rest; I live in AZ. Giving contractors access to a house unsupervised can make the most trustworthy person think twice. I have cameras set up throughout my house though, and every day they were there early in the morning, doing the work without needing to be supervised. Every night they cleaned up after themselves and locked up and not once did I catch any of their guys in the master bedroom trying on the wife's lingerie when nobody was looking. Nadja stayed in touch with me throughout the entire process and never got annoyed at my repeated questions, or 'suggestions' no matter how stupid they were. Hometown Handyman rocks to say the least. His estimate was more than fair, and he transformed my front yard completely. Cut down a large limb from my 75 yr old tree that was over to my roof, removed all debris from yard, put down weed barrier on my flower beds, brought in dirt to level my yard, then reseeded the yard, and secured it with straw. He placed an enormous amount of black mulch over all my existing trees and flower beds. I can honestly say, it looks so beautiful now, and my grass hasn't even started to grow yet. He took the time to hook up my hoses, and give me directions on when and how long to turn them on. He is an amazing young man who I will recommend to anyone. Took him 3 days from start to finish.
