I hired Rose for a new home construction final clean. Rose's crew did a mid-construction clean so…read morethey knew what size of project it was. My first complaint is the day of final clean she only sent 2 workers to do our 4000 sq ft home. It took them over 12 hours to get through it, and the results showed. That's too much house for 2 people to do a thorough job. My biggest problem however, wasn't discovered until the next morning (they didn't leave until after 8pm the night before and it was dark). One of the ladies had used a stainless steel scrubber on my brand new, solid walnut hardwood floors we just sanded and finished! When I scheduled the clean with Rose I communicated over text and then again in person the day of the clean, her crew was NOT to use any type of abrasive cleaners or scrubbers anywhere in the house ESPECIALLY on the wood floors! We were just devastated! There were large patches of scratches all throughout the house. I found pieces of the stainless steel scrubber all over the house and you could see scratch patterns on the floor where the pieces had been caught up in the mop fibers and dragged back and forth! I had our hardwood contractor come out and he said it would cost over $6,000 to repair all of the scratches. We would have to sand and refinish all of the hardwood to completely get rid of all of them. I contacted Rose and she was very apologetic and felt horrible about what had happened. When I told her about the cost to repair the floors she told me her crew said the floors looked "old" anyways. She told me she was a small business and couldn't afford to pay to repair our floors. I told her I understood this and I didn't intend to ruin her business, she did then comp me the cleaning fee. What I learned from this is go with a company that's insured so you can file a claim if there's damage.
