I was sceptical since the car is always parked in my driveway and there has never been oil spots. I went for a second and third opinion and was informed there was no oil leak. My car, like typical older 4 cylinder vehicles has a tendency to burn through some oil and to check the levels periodically. Since then there have been no issues, there has continued to be no oil in the driveway. I was told previously by other people to avoid using this shop and now I know why!!!

Said I needed a whole new radiator and all sorts of other things done. Ended up having it towed to our local guy (Ellicottville Auto) who found and fixed the leak (a clamp), replaced the thermostat and a windshield wiper for under $300. Joe's charged me more for the towing and diagnostics ($352). They saw a female and thought they could rake me over the coals. I repeat DO NOT TRUST THIS BUSINESS!!! They sat on my vehicle for over a month and then…read moreproceeded to give me back the unfixed vehicle without even looking at what I brought it in for. Needless to say, the original issue was still present the next day when I was trying to get to work. The vehicle wouldn't start (surprise) and I was then late for work and beyond frustrated. They finally decided to look at what I originally brought the vehicle in for and guess what.... THAT WAS EXACTLY WHAT WAS WRONG WITH IT. Now over a month later, I FINALLY have my vehicle back, but I also have a bill that is over double the estimate they gave me. Apparently I was charged for their little 'trial and error' episode, while they refused to fix what I had actually brought it in for. Oh... and they are charging me yet again for a 200 something dollar job they already did a few months prior because they can't find the paperwork (that I have in my hand). They keep trying to use 'new ownership' as an excuse... If this was the last shop on earth and my car was broken down in their parking lot... I wouldn't even look at the building.
