Barry was very knowledgeable and friendly and was able to meet us at the house to give an estimate on the day we scheduled our home inspection. His price was the best estimate we received. Since the project was a two day job and we closed on a Friday, one of Barry's guys came out on Friday and put up a temporary kennel fence so we could let our dog out back while we moved. Even that fence looked great! My home office overlooks the backyard, so I was able to watch the fence go up. His guys were very quick and efficient and I was very impressed with the quality. If it hadn't rained the first afternoon, I think they would have finished it in one day (241 feet with two gates!). Overall a very pleasant experience and I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants a high quality low cost fence. They do decks too!

He performed a 29-point inspection of my entire garage door system and shared with me in great detail all the components and their function. Ethan then worked up a quote and I agreed on the spot to have the work performed that same day. I ended up getting an all-new motor, brackets, springs, keypads, rollers, etc. When I tell you I could not be happier it's the God's honest truth. In a post COVID world having a TRUE PROFESSIONAL in 2024 is like a breath of fresh air. A1 Door charges a high premium and in my opinion it's worth every penny. The icing on the cake was when my wife came home and was more fascinated by the new door than I was. She found it remarkable that the same door and rail system could magically become so QUIET. We both kept saying to one another "Can you believe this is the same door?" My old LiftMaster was from 1999 and had a great life. My new garage door is the quintessential leap into the 21st century. My new LiftMaster has a camera, an app for my phone, and external keypad entry. I get notifications when the door is open and closed and I can view activity in the garage in real time. Brandon came out today for the estimate this is also the gentleman we spoke to at the show. Brandon gave his estimate which was higher then what he quoted us at the show, I asked why his response was because of where you live we would have to charge the extra for travel to your home, I told him we discussed this before we set up the appointment for the estimate so I feel it was a bait and switch, why would I pay their company to travel to me for me to spend my money with their company. had they told us this at the show we could have saved their time and ours, so they wasted money traveling to us.....just be aware

I showed the what was going on, I went back inside to go to work and an hour later I come out to him saying I owe $600 and the garage door was not fixed. I about hit the floor and called him out but he said that's the cost. So I wouldn't get the cops called on me, I paid it, and was going to call the manager to get it squared away. I ended up speaking to Robert who is the owner of the Ashland branch and explained to him that I was expecting a $70 quote not a $600 bill and the garage door was still not working. He said I signed a contract, but I called him out on that because I never signed anything and he admitted to the tech drawing line through my signature spot. Fraud? He then even agreed that I should've got a quote first, and even told me I should've refused paying and called him directly ( impossible to get a hold of anybody at that company as they use a third-party ). I requested half of a refund which I thought was generous. He strung me along for a month and I could never get in touch with him. I had to even fake a tech call from my wife's phone number to actually get a call from him. In the end, he blamed the company owner on not giving me any sort of refund. Absolutely horrible service and borderline illegal. I've submitted a formal complaint to the Better Business Bureau of Virginia to have them handle it.
