Worst Company i've ever worked with. I'm a big advocate of having a reliable shop to trust with…read moreyour car , and i even wanted this to be the shop for me being that my shop that i've been going to for 5 years recommended them and they were close to my job. i gave the shop my car to check out the transmission due to jerking that i was experiencing in the trans, the shop told me that they did not see anything wrong with the trans. From there they tried to sell me another service. I was not against the other service that they offered, but i wanted to hear more in detail about it. The bad experience stated here. I asked to speak to the tech about it, and they refused to let me speak to the tech and give me more detail on what i was paying for. and it left a bad taste and my mouth but i took it for a grain of salt and assumed i was over reacting. later in the day after receiving my car back my girl noticed that our seat would no longer adjust and the button for the seat was pushed in. I then called the shop to find solution. they then tried to charge me another 100 diagnostic to check the situation rather then just looking at the seat that was damaged after. I took it to the shop to talk to the owner and he yelled in my face as i remained professional and calm as i had my work gear on and could not make my employer look bad,and i have it all recorded. At parts i asked him why is he yelling when i remained calm. He then digressed and then went back to yelling. Probably the most frustrating experiencing i ever had. It was like talking to a controlling parent. I won't bash the shop because i'm sure they do good work. but working with a company that has integrity is important and this is just not that shop. i also noticed that another customer had a similar experience.

This location knows the value of good customer service. I'm sure they have long standing customers…read morebecause they treat you well. It may not be as cheap as the corner mechanic but at least you know you are paying for quality work and that it has a warranty if anything goes wrong. I gave 5 stars because of the personal touch. They have a prayer book in the corner. The waiting area and bathroom is clean. They offer you coffee while you're waiting. And they got the good creamers! Not the nasty powder stuff. The bathroom has a little basket with items to refresh yourself. Honestly was the best auto shop lounge area I've ever been in. I appreciate Bryan and Richard for taking care of my vehicle needs. I dropped my vehicle off while I was going out of town. When I returned, the car was not ready yet, as I had hoped to get it straight from the airport. I was thankful that they sent an Uber to take me back to the shop when the car was ready because I do not live close. It was only convenient to drop it there because it's not too far from IAH. Richard noticed something didn't sound right as I was about to leave and made sure it was fixed before I drove off.

Valvoline Instant Oil Change - The good stuff

7 3 2025 Update…read more I've been taking my vehicle to Valvoline probably my 10th to 15th trip now and I did not find out recently until last visit that they've been putting 0 to 20 weight in my vehicle when my Vehicles specifications are 0 to 50 weight oil. It even says it on Google and when I inquired the employee about this, he said that their computers states they are required 0 to 20 weight oil but it doesn't make sense (He even showed me). I asked him if there was an extra charge for an upgrade or something so I could make it right and he said no, so why wouldn't they put the recommended oil in a BMW so the engine isn't damaged in the long run? I used to always be happy with Valvoline and I've always taken my vehicle is there but I think it's time to make a change Update 7 3 2025

This location has been hit and miss for me. Last time it was horrible weather and I had 4 people…read moreworking on the car and got in & out fast. This time? Bays were empty when I pulled in and the team began descending on my vehicle. This time it was evident they were training one or more new staff. Not a biggie until I see them spending an inordinate amount of time on what appeared to be putting a screw/bolt back in. Never bothered telling me what they were doing, but the struggle under my hood was something to see. Now, I get that oil change places are like movie theaters in that they make a ton more $$ on up-selling accessories than they do the oil changes. What I didn't get is that 3 different people needed to be messing with my BRAND NEW wiper blades with your greasy hands. I finally had to roll down a passenger window to get the nonsense to stop. The $60 quote for my cabin air filter was hilarious! I took 60 seconds to go ahead and order a name brand one off Amazon for 1/3 that price. Do you want us to put air in your tires? No, they read at the exact pressure they're supposed to be, as shown on your report?? Manager appeared irritated that I pulled out my coupon at the end (maybe he just looks that way), but given that I'd had it sitting in the phone the whole time and nobody had ever asked for it? All-in-all a much slower experience than usual combined with a hope that they didn't unbolt something important under my hood.
