From there they tried to sell me another service. I was not against the other service that they offered, but i wanted to hear more in detail about it. The bad experience stated here. I asked to speak to the tech about it, and they refused to let me speak to the tech and give me more detail on what i was paying for. and it left a bad taste and my mouth but i took it for a grain of salt and assumed i was over reacting. later in the day after receiving my car back my girl noticed that our seat would no longer adjust and the button for the seat was pushed in. I then called the shop to find solution. they then tried to charge me another 100 diagnostic to check the situation rather then just looking at the seat that was damaged after. I took it to the shop to talk to the owner and he yelled in my face as i remained professional and calm as i had my work gear on and could not make my employer look bad,and i have it all recorded. At parts i asked him why is he yelling when i remained calm. He then digressed and then went back to yelling. Probably the most frustrating experiencing i ever had. It was like talking to a controlling parent. We recently sought an independent inspection from a certified Mini Cooper technician and were informed that many of the repairs we paid for do not appear to have been performed. According to the technician, the vehicle remains in substantially the same condition as before. We have attempted to resolve this matter directly with the shop but have not received a satisfactory explanation or resolution. Complaints have been filed with the Better Business Bureau and the Texas Attorney General's Office. I am sharing this because I wish someone had warned us. If you are considering major repairs on your vehicle, I strongly encourage you to obtain detailed documentation, ask for old parts to be returned, and consider getting a second opinion before authorizing expensive repairs. First thought was to go to Hyundai. I described the problem and they said they would be replacing the transmission as they do not do repair work and it would be about $7000. Keep in mind they hadn't even looked at it but there was a significant charge for even a code reader. I had already read mine and nothing was showing. I took it to A1 and Miguel said they would take a look at it. After taking it for a short drive the mechanic came back with his tablet and said it's nothing that a seven dollar can of Seafoam won't solve. I have a clogged injector. I used the seafoam and my car drives like new. There was no charge for the Diagnostic! I'm green when it comes to auto mechanics and could've easily been taken for a ride. I do have 152,000 miles on my car sooner or later I will need transmission work and this is the place I will bring my car.

I came to the shop based on its high rating on Google Maps. He did a diagnosis and said it is the water pump issue and asked for a labor fee of $600 to replace it. Upon mentioning a lower quote ($430) from another shop, I was informed of additional charges like diagnosis and towing if I chose to take my car elsewhere. Then he asked for a new labor fee of $500. The next day, he messaged me that another part, the coolant tube, is broken as well and needs a replacement. He charged another labor fee of $180 to replace that. Then I messaged back to ask if the water pump (his original diagnosis) is broken or not. He called me back immediately and asked me to not disturb him. Said something like "He is the best one out there", "I am not here to teach people", "I am well-educated". I am quoting some words from Sam when I was at his shop: (1) Sam: "Bring somebody who understands English and knows the car." (2) Sam: "I am 52. I have way more experience than you do. You gotta have to learn a lot of things. Because when you are working with professionals, you gotta shut up and listen to the people." Me: Is it professional to let a customer shut up?
