I requested that my concrete stoop and steps be redone (brand new). In addition, I wanted grassy areas in front of the home removed and concreted over. I'm done with grass, LOL. He came out on time, was personable, but tried to up-sell me about things I was not interested in at the time. When you have limited income you have to do things as you go in these hard times. No one can make me buy something I didn't ask for or don't want/need. The quote he gave me was very very good. I was pleased with it. He told me he would send me a proposal with all info via email later in the day. As he had to rush to get to other appointments. I had told him based on what we discussed he would get the job. He texted me immediately that the proposal was ready. It was an invoice sent via email for the entire amount. That was hilarious. LOL. In any event, when I looked at the write up, there was no mention of metal reinforcement for the concrete during the form and pour. I need that. We discussed expansion joints and he told me I didn't need them, but I wanted them. He doesn't replace cracked bricks, etc., because he'd have to replace the whole thing. NAH. I've been around and I do my own research and some of what he said made no sense to me. If you give me what I ask for I expect to be charged accordingly. When I hire tradesman and pay out of my pocket it's for what "I" want. Not what you are only willing to do. It's too bad because I think had he agreed to the reinforcement my search for competent, morally intact contractor would have ended with him. read more

The job took a bit to complete, however, this was no part in their doing but due to mother nature's unrelenting snow storms that delay the job. I called for an estimate for my front porch granite railing to be removed and re-cemented. Serrano came out within 3 hours to give me a quote. It was very fare I booked him right away to do the job. He had availability first thing next day he squeezed my job in between his other project. Since my job wasn't as big. He came with 3 guys took everything down made sure not to stomp out my grass Lol and he also laid down a nice protective blanket for the railings to lay on. It Took 3 hours and I'm so happy with this companies service. I will be having them pave my backyard next and Clear coat the pavers. Over all great professional service don't hesitate to use them. You go cheap, you get cheap. Unfortunately we got what we paid for. The finished product is sloppy let alone the standing water I get whenever it rains now. My shed is now surrounded by water after a day of rain. Please do yourself a favor and spend the money on a better masonry contractor. read more
