We had been trying to get someone to do some tile work for awhile and everyone kept flaking on us…read morebecause we needed smaller jobs done and apparently big jobs are what people want to do instead. Jorge and his crew, however, agreed and completed a new back splash in the kitchen with cement tiles we had already purchased. They also completed the retiling and reconstruction of a porch step out front. Our previous contractor built the additional step wrong 5 years ago and the step was moving away from the original porch structure. Jorge was the only contractor who had vision and know how to suggest rebuilding it correctly and adding a longer step so the design of the porch was more aesthetically pleasing. We used Saltillo tile and went with a bullnosed edge for the steps. Jorge was able to do this installation and the cement tiles without any issue. We love the look of handcrafted tiles and are happy Jorge was able and experienced in using these types of tiles. All of the crew were nice and professional. They worked diligently and we had a good experience.

We wanted the look of a seamless, no grout backsplash but did not have the budget for this. So we got incredibly large tiles and Jorge's team was able to install them with as minimal seams to give it that continuous look. They went from the countertop all the way to the ceiling. The work is beautiful and the price was incredibly reasonable. Additionally he is unbelievably kind and easy to speak with. I cannot wait for an opportunity to work with him again. He's one of my favorite people, to work with and just generally!

We found tile that we liked for three bathrooms and started the search for locations to purchase the tile. Well, daunting cannot even begin to describe the task of driving all over town, seeking our desired tile. We visited almost every tile store in town, we live in LA but could not find what we were looking for (man, traffic sure is a b*tch at all hours of the day). So, we decided to visit "tile/stone row" on S. State College Blvd., in Anaheim. Should definitely have done this from the getgo but we didn't want to deal with the traffic on the way over there. Well, we went early on a Saturday morning and voilá, we found our tile in a few tile stores. Prices were different at each store. But the widest selection and definitely the best prices were found at this store. Sam Vasquez was absolutely awesome. He is knowledgeable and gave us the best pricing. We will be returning for kitchen and laundry room tile very soon. Oh, AND, they have a great selection of wood flooring too.
