I WISH I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS! My son who is in the Army stationed far away ordered flowers from this flower shop to be delivered to his girlfriend in Riverside he paid for a premium bouquet which cost just under $150 around 8 PM the next evening there was a dead bouquet that was not the bouquet he ordered it was actually nothing like the bouquet he ordered and it was delivered to his girlfriend! My son contacted the flower shop numerous times with no response via email and phone calls they never responded the Flower bouquet that was delivered to her probably wasn't worth more than $30 and as I said before it was dead more than half the flowers were wilted and a drooping! Two days later after giving them a chance to respond my sons girlfriend and her father took the bouquet into the flower shop and showed them the order that was placed for the premium bouquet and handed them the one they delivered and said we would like you to make the bouquet that we ordered and paid for. They questioned my sons girlfriend and her father as to if they really purchased them at their store when they showed them the purchase order they said that they would make another bouquet and have it delivered the next evening the next evening arrived and she received nothing she called them and received no response we emailed them again and received no response. I would never do business with this company they are criminalistic taking a soldiers money for a bouquet when he is not present to see what is actually delivered and trying to pass it off as what he purchased since his girlfriend wouldn't know the difference! We will not allow them to get away with this we are filing complaints with the FCC and the Better Business Bureau there is no other option since we have tried relentlessly to get a hold of them by email and phone and personally going in their store. My sister had ordered a bouqet to be delivered to my house for Mother's Day. I was to get the door and sign for the flowers. The day drags on and by 4 pm, still no flowers. I decide to give them a call to check up on them and I say, sweet as pie "Hi, I have some flowers being delivered to my house today and I was wondering if you knew whether or not they were on their way." They ask who the flowers were for and I gave them the name. Then, they want to know how I ordered and I tell them that I wasn't the one who ordered -- my sister was. I was just signing for them. The woman I was speaking with then said to find out how they were ordered and call her back, and she then hung up before I could say anything else. Ok... So I find out my sister ordered them online. I call back to tell them this, and then she wanted even more information about how it was ordered online. Are you serious?? Just find the damn order! They should be able to use the name of the recipient or my sister's name to find it. I call my sister back and she is also confused -- all she knows is that she ordered them online. After another call back, the woman finally finds the order and then we find out they have a completely different, incorrect address. How is that possible? We ordered online, and the address is correct on the receipt! I'm the one who has to sign for the flowers, but I had someplace to be and by 6pm they STILL weren't there. I gave up and left to go run my errands, and when I got back at around midnight, I see a bouqet on the front doorstep. I bring it inside, and there's ANOTHER bouqet sitting on the countertop. The only reason why this got 1 star is because the flowers looked alright. But this is not what I payed $75.00 for! This was for my wife for Valentines Day, which I understand is a busy day for them but they need to put quality over quantity. Even some of the flowers were wilted on the bottom left and looked like they didn't care when handling the flowers. I called and was given attitude as well and told that the place was already closed, but I called at 5:30? I just want to say that I was totally shocked to see some of these reviews. I've been buying flowers from Serrano Flowers for going on 3 years now and have always, without fail been more than satisfied with both the products and services. I think what people don't realize is that most of the time when you order flowers online, you're almost always dealing with a service such as FTD, 800 Flowers, Just Flowers, etc. Which has limited advantages if you're sending out of state and can generally provide adequate service during non-holiday demands. But as with our economy the way it is, most assuredly the order is being outsourced to India or some other country with lower processing costs. Hence, many delays and errors leading to dissatisfaction. But trust me when I say, I'm a 49 year old male. And if flowers were a traded commodity like pork bellies, the amount of money I've spent on them could qualify me as a major stockholder. I've sent flowers for every known holiday, get wells, condolences, birthdays, congratulations, anniversaries, thank you's, enjoyed your company, graduations, just because, I'm sorry and the list goes on. I have found through the years and especially since the Internet explosion it pays to spend just a few extra moments to research the florist at least for their direct phone number and call them direct. If you see the arrangement you like online, it's surely a service (FTD, etc.) Design and just give the florist the item number they will know exactly what you want. Even better if you know what kind of flowers and colors you want and let them design it. I promise, the recipient will be very pleased and the heartfelt memory will last forever. I always deal direct with the florist and have several that are held in very high esteem. Serrano Flowers is on the top of my list for Riverside and the surrounding area. On Thursday, I Ordered a Mother's Day arrangement through a floral shop in Fresno, Ca for my mom who lives in Redlands, CA. The order went through Teleflora. Serrano Flowers is the shop that popped up. The originating shop then called Serrano Flowers to verify if they deliver to Redlands. An employee at Serrano's said, "Yes." The order was placed and I was charged. It cleared my bank. The flowers were to be delivered on Friday. No delivery. Serrano Flowers is my absolute favorite flower shop. Gigi (the owner) and her husband are an amazing team with their services. She is extremely punctual, even with short notice requests. She is personable and goes above and beyond for her customers. Her prices are outstanding and she works with her customers based off of how much they want to spend. The arrangements are STUNNING and LONG-LASTING! No seriously, she adds these vitamins to the water that helps them live longer. Her husband is the driver and is always on time and is extremely kind when dropping off your arrangement. I've ordered not only through a previous company that I worked at where she delivered pieces every Friday and sometimes an additional 2-4 times that week, but also for family and friends and I have received pieces from them multiple times. ONLY giving this florist shop ONE star because the arrangement was beautiful. But when it comes to their customer service, this establishment is EXTREMELY lazy & unprofessional! My boyfriend had selected an arrangement from an online distributor thinking that the flowers would get to my place of work with ease. Unfortunately that was NOT the case. Giving 2 stars because the second arrangement was beautiful. My boyfriend has ordered from this place 3 times. First arrangement flowers were wilted and warm. Second time he ordered, flowers were gorgeous, however they were delivered by two young boys who looked so unprofessional, had they not had flowers in their hand, I wouldn't have opened my door. Third time, boyfriend paid extra to have them delivered to me at my office the day before Valentine's Day, I was at work all day, he asks me if I received anything, told him no. He calls and they tell him they had them scheduled to be delivered on Valentine's Day, when I was not working. They did rush over to deliver them to me before I left for the day, but the arrangement looks like they just threw flowers in a vase, put a sloppy bow on, and rushed it over to me. Do not ever order flowers from this company. My boyfriend had tried to send me flowers to my work that were to be delivered by 3pm on a Thursday as a surprise. The driver called me at 4:10 telling me he had flowers to deliver for me and if I could wait for them another 45 minutes. I told him no and why was he calling me and not the person who ordered them. He just said he didn't know because it was through FTD. They were then delivered on Friday. My front office told him I wasn't in the office for the day and he left them anyway.
