We were thrilled to have our wedding at the Mission Inn Hotel & Spa! Meeting the Director of…read moreCatering & Events was a game-changer, as she shared exclusive vendor information with us. We knew we needed flowers, and there were six florists to choose from. But we wanted to support our local community in Riverside, and The Natural of Things was a local favorite, owned by a mother and daughter. I reached out to the flower shop and spoke with Mandy. After sending her our inspiration wedding flower arrangement photos she was on it with the photos. My wedding was on December 20, 2025, which is winter, so I asked Mandy about spring flowers for my bouquets. I wanted peonies, roses, protea, ranunculus, hanging amaranthus, astilbe, hypericum, snapdragons, antique carnations, variegated ti leaf, nagi leaf, and camellia leaf. All the bouquets would be tied with a magenta silk ribbon, and I would have handles for the maid of honor and bridesmaids. For the groom, best man, groomsmen, and ushers, I wanted like lapel boutonnieres made with coordinating florals and botanicals, tied with a magenta silk ribbon handle. I asked Mandy for a lot, and she assured me she'd do her best to create the flowers for me. Throughout the process, Mandy kept us in the loop with clear communication. As the wedding date approached, she emailed us the proposal for our review. It was an impressive proposal, detailing the expected average weather temperature: 68 degrees (high) and 46 degrees (low) in December, along with the floral lists. It was so detailed and organized, it was amazing! On our wedding day, we arranged for the flowers to be delivered to our home. We met with Mandy and Dawn who were absolutely wonderful! They took the time to show us how to pin the lapel boutonnieres on our jackets. Plus, they were so careful to keep all the flowers in a separate vase of water. Dawn explained how I should hold my bouquets, and I have to say, my bouquets were heavy with all the beautiful magenta flowers and their lovely fragrance. When I handed out the flowers to my maid-of-honor and bridesmaids, they couldn't believe how beautiful they were--and the groom, best man, groomsmen, and ushers were just as impressed. Thank you both for your passion for designing floral arrangements!

She executed our florals so beautifully. We got exactly what we wanted. We are still getting compliments on our florals to this day. I cannot say enough good things about her and the services we received. She worked within our budget and was worth it. No need to look any further another florist she is the real deal!!

The kind of mural that makes you pull over like you've just spotted a celebrity plant. We walked in and immediately hit a plot twist: construction. For a second we thought, Did we just wander into a soft‑opening rehearsal? We stepped back out, regrouped, then wandered in again. This time, someone directed us to the back, and wow. That's where they were hiding all the vibrant beauty. A full botanical wonderland. My Wife, who has recently promoted herself to "flat‑flower expert," found several blooms she'd never even seen before. Naturally, we grabbed a handful of different flowers to build our own arrangement like two floral architects on a mission. Everything was gorgeous, and the flowers are blooming like they signed a contract to impress us. Very pleased with this place. Magnolia's little pink surprise.

Some employees were on their phones, while I struggled to find someone who could assist me or answer basic questions. The person who eventually helped me seemed distracted and continued working with their back turned toward me. On top of that, the prices were extremely high--nearly three times what I ended up paying in Downtown LA. I completely understand the costs associated with running a business and importing flowers, but when you're charging premium prices, the customer service should reflect that. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not justify the cost. It's disappointing because I genuinely wanted to support this business, but I wouldn't return.
