I have personally known Dr Eric Serrano and Dr. Lisa Serrano for over 15 years. When I mention them I also put the category of their staff as whom I speak highly of as well. They are truly one of the most genuine people you will meet. They have helped so many people regardless of their backgrounds and experiences(myself included). This is just one of the few traits that make them special. They will deter in having to tell you the many people they have treated, the types of people they have helped as this shows how humble and down to earth they are. Amazing team of doctors who exceed all other doctors. Have been a patient here for 20+ yrs. and Dr. Eric is worth every penny. He went to Cash Pay only a few years ago to focus on patient care, not cowtowing to the federal government. If Congress & the Obama family would have had to be on the Affordable Care Act plans, that bill would NOT have ever passed. They exempted themselves as they know how bad it truly is. read more

In my experience, fantastic Dr's who really care about your health. Unique in that they generally prefer nutrition (or other lifestyle changes) over indiscriminately throwing pills at your problem. If you're looking for a sycophant, this isn't the practice for you (you'll probably get lots of advice you don't want to hear), but if you're interested in health and longevity, you've found the best our area has to offer. Also... towards Ingrid's comment. I'll confirm the sign is still up. That said, I don't see it as matter of politics, but a reflection of demand. The fact of the matter is, this practice is doing well enough to make such a decision (and opt out of all the business it would bring). Whether they do it for political reasons, efficiency/expediency (as a gov't professional, I would understand opting out due to red tape alone)... ultimately that's their business. Case in point... Dr. Eric doesn't accept ANY insurance, but his reputation is such that people will gladly pay (whatever's asked) regardless. In other words, they're that good. read more

Well right when you come into the lobby you are met with a greeting of the doctor's political views. Bad start. If anyone in this practice is reading this...Obama Care, otherwise known as the Affordable Care Act, is a set of laws governing the practices of insurance companies and subsidizing insurance plans for low income people. It is not a type of insurance. You can't say you don't take it, because you have no way of knowing who plans are subsidized and who's aren't. If you accept United health care, do you get to specify that you will only take the full priced plans?? No you don't. Also, Medicare recipients have networks just like everyone else. So your signage is POINTLESS because if you don't take Medicare, they won't show up. Obviously. So really none of the intended parties are reading your signs and you're just pissing off everyone else. And actually, nothing else about your practice is relevant for review, because you're clearly just an unprofessional weirdo who wants everyone to hear about your political opinions, opinions based on nothing because apparently you're too lazy to actually learn about the thing you're opposing. What kind of care can your patients expect if you can't even be bothered to read up on the legislation affecting your patients and your business? Should I also assume you're too lazy to pick up a medical journal every now and then? No thank you. I'll take my business somewhere I don't get a lecture on ignorance right when I arrive. And by the way, I also believe the ACA needs reform...An opinion informed by actually reading it and learning about the health insurance industry....also I don't go around sharing that opinion with everyone who walks in my office. read more
