The people at SERRA are not to be trusted. I was given terms to an agreement on Saturday, but when I showed up on Monday, the terms had changed. Just like in the case of the other review by "Eddie K.", they told one thing, and then the other. First, I couldn't finance the remaining balance of the purchase (about $2,700), then they told me I had to finance at least $5,000 - i said "ok". Then they changed their mind again and said I couldn't finance anything towards the nearly $10,000 purchase - cash only! And once you drive one of their cars off the lot - it's yours! The transmission could fall out in front of their dealership (after just handing them $10k cash) and they wouldn't give a damn! And yes, a car should have NEW TIRES. Serra sales cars with tires that are below the safety limit. The manager's name involved was Andy, and the salesman's name was George. AVOID THIS SHADY DEALERSHIP. The corruption that was "Doug Chevrolet" remains there to this day. read more

Long day! Was told I couldn't pay cash. Then told I had to finance at least $12k. Was told I had to keep loan open for 4-6 months so they could get paid for opening the loan. I was given a rate of 5.75% with 811 credit score and $30k down on a $39k vehicle. I've never paid over 4.5%. Was told I had to buy paint protection because I didn't have a trade in. Was told we had to accept these terms because we "aren't local customer base". And waited on and off for 4 hours! The business must think people are not intelligent to protect themselves from the car sales hustle. I would not recommend this very shady business. However, the salesman "Jose" was great and understanding. He is why I have a 2 instead of 1 star review. Sorry for a bad review but all 100% true. read more

I bought my Acura in 2001 from Mark and love the car AND this dealership. I've mostly talked with Jack and Tracy in the service department when I get my oil changed, have the set mileage checkups, or have it in for repairs and they make me feel right at home. One time I showed up a whole day early for service and they didn't even say anything - just did the work and treated me normally!! I figured out my mistake the next day when a reminder popped up on my computer! They provide you with a newer model loaner car when services to your car will take more than 3 or 4 hours (I'm sure to tempt you into a new purchase but hey, it's a sweet deal). If you have to wait, they have a waiting area with free popcorn, pop, snacks, fresh brewed Starbucks, and Wi-Fi. This dealership Rocks. read more

On May 22nd 2022 the vehicle (2010 Acura RL) was brought to Serra Acura, it had two error codes one for emission and one for misfire. The dealership charged $361.27 to diagnose the problem and $212.76 to fix the problem (new spark plugs) less than 80 miles were put on the vehicle and the same error codes have came back. The vehicle was brought back June 7th 2022 and the dealership now "recommends" a 100k mile service package because they do not know the root of the problem and were incorrect in diagnosing the problem the first time/charged for parts that did not fix the issue. Dealership states on first receipt that they verified no misfires, second receipt states misfire is still occurring. After dealing with Serra Acura twice and not having a correct diagonisis the vehicle was taken to another repair show where it was determined that the vehicles head gaskets were blown. Serra Acura preformed testing and did not find the head gaskets leak. They now refuse to refund for thier incorrect diagnosis. Avoid service department and save yourself time. read more

I took my 2002 TL in for an airbag recall...they took care of that plus cleaned my car and gave it a quick check, finding a leak in brake fluid. Not urgent, but will get it taken care of later. Still, good to get treated so well when the car has 257k on it, most dealerships don't care about their services on recalls and do bare minimum but Park Acura has been my best experience of all dealerships I've dealt with: Toyota, Saab, but Acura won me over! read more

I looked at car on Saturday during a snow storm right before close. Called the dealer on Monday and left message that I wanted to come back and drive the car and that I was interested in purchasing it. Called again Tuesday morning after getting Finance pre-approval from my credit union. Told the salesman I wanted to buy it. He was on vacation but told me to see another salesperson and that they would hold it. At 5pm on my way to the dealer I get a text that they sold the car but still to come in that they have other ones to sell me. They do not stick to their word!!!! read more

I have been a customer since 2008/09, and I'd say I am mostly a fan of Park Acura. Sometimes I feel they are a little expensive (both parts and service), and they aren't the fastest when it comes to basic car service. But the people are always very friendly, and their never too pushy (either sales and service). Whenever I wait for my car, the service waiting area is mostly comfortable, with Starbucks, soda, water and snacks. And if I don't have time to wait around, they will provide me a loaner. It's not the most convenient location for me any longer, but I'll continue going here so long as I am stilling driving my Acura. read more

Two days after we test drove an Acura RDX I called back to negotiate an offer. I spoke to someone in their finance department and was very clear that we would not be financing through Park. I also noted that our loan was approved for $XX so the difference between the amount we finance and the final price of the car would be our down payment. After a few back and forth negotiations we agreed that I would put a down payment of $YY on the car and would finance the $XX for a total "out the door cost" (tax, title, etc.) of $X+Y After both parties agreed he then requested a down payment. Because I did not have my credit card with me at the time, I told him I would call back tomorrow. The following day, I received a call from Park (assuming they wanted to collect payment information.) The salesperson explained that there was some confusion with the finance department and that the final price would actually be $X+Y+$2,000 (not once was this number mentioned the previous day.) I expressed my anger with the deceptive sales tactics and asked to speak with a manager. The manager then noted that he had the paperwork in front of him and that there was nothing he could do. No apology was ever offered (at the very least, an apology over the "confusion from the Finance department" and/or breaking the verbal contract was expected.) I literally did a countrywide search for a used truck that lasted over three months, and I was willing to travel wherever I had to in order to secure a truck that would meet the needs of our farm business. Fortunately for me, Park Auto had just traded for a one owner F150 that met all of our needs perfectly. It was excellent condition with extremely low miles, but best of all it was very reasonably priced which is not the case with most used trucks. I called and was connected with Adam Dungan in sales. Adam is a consummate professional and he quickly sent me all of the info I needed on the truck. He was very timely and responsive and never once did he put any kind of pressure on me to make a purchase. Thru Adam, I was able to negotiate a very fair price over the phone for the truck of my dreams, and there were no slimy sales gimmicks used by he or anyone else at Park. Just a reasonable bottom line "take it or leave it" price that was too good to pass up. We made the 335+ mile drive from Indy to make the purchase after negotiating all of the terms on the phone. Adam was out due to a prior commitment the day I came to purchase the truck, but Ali Yoho filled in for him and had everything ready to go upon my arrival. She was an absolute joy to work with. Upon inspection, the truck did need an alignment and the used car manager simply deducted the cost of the service that needed done from the sales price so we could be on our way quickly. Mark Martina was our finance manager and he was as equally pleasant and professional to work with as Adam & Ali. This was the first time in my life that I actually enjoyed working with an auto sales finance manager. He spent as much time with me as I needed to look at all of the options available to me for financing and made the process painless. It was obvious that he wasn't trying to rush me thru the process and wanted to make certain I got the best terms that worked for me. He was also very helpful in explaining a great warranty product known as "5 Star". I'm not typically an extended warranty purchaser, but this product was too good to pass up. Now our gently used truck is essentially covered bumper to bumper up to nearly 100k miles for a very reasonable amount. While Mark was buttoning up the paperwork, Ali had the truck plated and ready to roll (complete with a full tank of gas - which is nothing to sneeze at on this truck with it's 36 gallon tank!) when the finance process was complete. A couple of days after the purchase, both Adam and Mark followed up with me by phone to see if everything was okay and if I had any questions. This was, BY FAR, the best auto purchasing experience I have ever had. Everyone I spoke with at Park was pleasant, genuine, professional and very kind. They made it well worth the nearly 700 mile round trip, 14 hour day to pick up this truck. Even given the distance, I will give Park Auto every chance to earn my repeat business should I need another vehicle they have to offer in the future. They are that good! I would highly encourage anyone to ask for Adam Dungan in sales. I can't really even put into words how great of a sales guy Adam is. Went in to test drive a car on 5-8-17 and purchase a vehicle. We were already approved for financing through another entity. I must say our salesman Jonathan was very professional. HOWEVER; the business manager Dave from the Acura side was a total badger. First, he comes over and tells us that if we didn't do our financing through them he couldn't sell us the car. After paraphrasing what he said he replied he didn't say that (which he actually did, I think my reaction lead him to recant because I know exactly what I heard.) This guy comes over about 3-4 more times telling us he's just trying to save us money (well if that was the case you'd come down off the price of the vehicle). We advised him several times we didn't want to have my husbands credit report pulled again since it was just pulled less than a week ago. He didn't want to hear of that and became pretty much a pushover because we wouldn't budge from our decision. He tells us again, "I'm just trying to save you money, I don't get anything out of pulling your credit and it's still considered one pull." A pull is a pull! I'm 100% certain he would get some type of commission because he was too persistent after being told "no" several times. He must have realized we were getting frustrating with him because after that he came and apologized a couple of times. Then the last time Dave came over he replied in a hastily tone "just go ahead and use who you already have." This guy was ticked with us. My husband goes in to get the car on Thursday and Dave who shouldn't have had anymore conversation at all for my husband makes it his business to tell my husband "in the future I'm not going to sell to anyone that's been financed somewhere else." Uhhhh who cares we have the car now. This guy is totally unprofessional and a nuisance! How dare I forget to mention the dealership wanted us to put a deposit down to hold the car. No problem, Dave didn't even want to take cash he wanted us to put it on a credit card because the office was locked. (Not our problem). When we told him we just take our chances of the car still being there and just wouldn't do the deposit he decided to take the cash. On Thursday my husband was told he'd have to come back and get the deposit on Friday because Dave had taken it home ????????? Not certain why he would but even if that was the case why not bring it back on Tues or Wed because they knew we would pick up on Thursday. read more

You would think that a dealership that sells high-end products would hire sales personnel that were truthful, knowledgeable and courteous. Apparently Park Acura will hire anybody and will say anything just to get the sale - just like any other shady used car dealership that you have learned to not trust. I went there looking to buy a used Acura. The sales rep barely knew anything about Acuras. He then tried to get me to pay the "advertised" price on the car when I saw the car online for a "discounted" price. When I alerted him to the discrepancy, he claimed he didn't know what I was talking about until I pulled it up on my Blackberry. Then he claimed that price was only valid over a recent holiday weekend. Bottom line - the car was fine, but their sales tactics were as backwoods and shady as they can get. They even promised me a new set of tires and a detail job - unfortunately, I didn't get it in writing - when I showed up trying to lock up the "real" deal (which I got down to $3000 lower than the "advertised" price), they tried to offload the car to me with old tires and a dirty car. I stood up and left the dealership sorely disappointed and irritated. The sales rep even had the audacity to call me and apologize and promise me even more "free" stuff. These guys are as low-end characters. I will never go to a Park dealership again. read more

Beware, the salesmans do not deal in good faith. I took a test drive in a certified used car and offered $15,000 cash plus my trade in. My offer was a little on the low side of a fair deal so I have room to negotiate. The salesman (Jason) talked to the manager and came back with $19,000. I immediately told him that was an absolutely absurb price. He then asked I would pay $16,000. I said now he was getting more reasonable and I would meet him half way between my offer of 15,000 and his 16,000. After talking to his manager again, Jason came back with 17,900. When asked about his 16,000 he said that I didn't accepted it so the price is now 17,900. I then told him I would accept his 16,000. He again talked to the manager and came back with 16,500. He said his offer of 16,000 was only a "question" not an offer and that he didn't have the authority to make any offer. I got up and left. I refuse to deal with people that don't deal in good faith! read more
