I'll be the odd dude reviewing this place. It was freezing cold today my cheapy wool touchscreen gloves weren't doing me any favors. I remembered that years ago I went into this store with my mom, who was buying herself gloves at the time, and decided to pop in on the off chance they have men's gloves. Turns out, they do! All of the ones I was shown were cashmere lined and the woman behind the counter wasn't shy about shoving various gloves onto my hand, but knew my size immediately upon looking down at my fingers. Within about 5 minutes I had some super warm buttery leather gloves on my hands for a very reasonable $120. I've had some of those bigger leather gloves (think Century 21 in the bin, or even Cole Haan) in the past that are bulky with fat fingers, but these are very lightweight while being incredibly comfortable and leaving you able to move your fingers around as if you weren't wearing any.

Great range of gloves, materials, styles, ... made in Italy. Amazing assistance. What else could one ask for? Sermoneta stands out.

They have a great selection of gloves but truly terrible service, staff were rude and aggressive. I will never shop there again

The zipper on my cabin carry-on had jammed completely and I couldn't get the bag open or closed properly. I brought it in expecting to leave it for at least a few hours if not a day or two. Instead, the person helping me took a look, got to work, and had the zipper unstuck and running smoothly in about 15 minutes while I waited. What really impressed me is that he didn't just fix it, he showed me how to handle it myself if it ever happens again. His technique: overstuff the bag so the fabric draws out and the tension increases around the zipper track, then give the caught area a few firm flicks with the edge of a credit card. The added tension plus the flicking releases the fabric from the zipper teeth. Simple, clever, and the kind of trade knowledge you only get from people who have been doing this for a long time.

I filled out the paperwork on the Internet and mailed the leather bags to their Manhattan shop. I received a call the day the handbags were received. I gave a credit card number to repair both bags for $150 and $35 shipping and handling. I was told the bags would be returned to me within two weeks. The bags were returned by FedEx and have a glossy luster and shine now. The black bag looks like new and the white is better but not perfect.

I like the watches and they make some really nice leather bags and accessories. I do have one favorite piece. I purchased a wallet that is very well made. I've used it many years daily and it has held up beautifully. It's soft leather that's comfortable to hold. It's got the credit card holder and two zipper pockets that are very convenient. I'm giving Fossil Four Stars. It's pricey but beautiful merchandise. This store is beautiful. The employees let me browse to my hearts content. Fossil is more than watches. Visit when you're nearby. I dare you to leave without buying something.

Good idea: Friendly employees Bad idea: Like, 20 friendly employees Good idea: Well-priced watches for the quality they are ($65-$110 for most) Bad idea: $25 for each interchangeable plastic strap?! I know those cost 50 cents to make in some "developing" country Good idea: Central location in Times Square (SW corner of 48th and Broadway) Bad idea: Location means very little square footage, which means a cramped space to move around in Good idea: Stylish watches Bad idea: Stylish watches with rotating rims which have no function other than aesthetics, or with face and hand colors so similar that the time is unreadable Good idea: Generosity and patience with letting customers try on multiple watches Bad idea: All the counter surfaces are glass so I was terrified I would drop a watch on them by accident Good idea: Interchangeable straps on a lot of watches Bad idea: Some straps are too big for small wrists, and they won't punch extra holes in the plastic bands in the store, which effectively adds another $10 to the watch price for going to a jeweler to do it. The tie score here should really give this place three stars, but since I'm probably going to end up buying a watch here, four stars it is. It's an elegant store and the watches are gorgeous.
