Our experience: The initial plastering had to be taken out because they used the incorrect plaster, requiring them to do a complete redo. The second application has also proven to be awful. The finish is uneven, with significant bumps and "waves" across the entire surface. We brought these issues to their attention immediately upon completion. The company explained that this poor finish was caused by the previous plaster layer not being fully removed down to the gunite ( which again one of the layers was because they put the wrong plaster in), a critical detail that was never communicated to us during the planning or execution of the project. As industry professionals, the team should have advised us on the proper preparation needed to achieve a quality finish, and the lack of such communication is a severe oversight. They think feeling waves when sitting is okay. It is so ridiculous that they stand behind that work! I would have easily paid more money if they brought up to me that they need more time to prepare the surface correctly. Furthermore, we were disappointed by the company's proposed resolution: requiring us to pay an additional fee to have the entire job redone again. This is an unacceptable response, as the initial payment was for professional, high-quality work, which was not delivered. We believe the responsibility for this inadequate outcome lies with your company. DO NOT USE!! read more

We recently moved into a home with an in-ground pool. Sergio Pool Plastering company did an amazing job on our 17 year old pool. 17 years is not very old for a pool, but I'm a perfectionist, a bit sick in the head, and I wanted everything about this pool to be just right, with structural integrity, and headache free for the next 10+ years. Daisy came out to the house and estimated the renovation project which included demo of the old tile and coping, restoring the entire pool deck, replacing the custom stone coping, replacing and replicating the tile to match the spa - which was not to be touched or a part of the project - and finally; re-plastering of our pool with 'Diamond Brite' Super Blue finish. Daisy was very professional, knowledgeable, and guided us through every step of the way. They squeezed us in their very busy schedule to accommodate our needs and helped us as much as they could during these pressing times. From draining our pool and demo work, through the masterful deck rebuild, the coping and tile work, and finally the plastering finish, everyone on every crew was on time, extremely polite, professional, and left the job site clean. Weather related delays caused the project to take a little longer than expected, but with every turn, with every step, and with any concerns and questions we had about the renovation project, Sergio, Daisy and the entire office team were always available to answer our questions and help us with everything we needed to make sure all our needs were met and that the end result was nothing but spectacular. The price was very competitive, and they even threw in the spa to make sure everything was cohesive. We were very surprised and astounded at the generous gift and were furthermore shocked when they gave us new pool light bulbs, pool light gaskets, and repaired a pool light cove leak.... free of charge!!! You don't get that kind of service these days! I have no words to describe how thankful and grateful we are... My entire family is enjoying a beautiful newly renovated pool and our summer was saved thanks to Sergio. We used Sergio's for our new Diamond Brite finish for a pool at a house we just bought in Williamstown, NJ. We decided on Super Blue. It looks great. We had another quote from a company that said they had to cover our beautiful old tiles on the steps with the new plaster. Sergio's carefully cut around all the tile work without damaging one tile. The finished job looks great! Sergio, the office and all the workers were very professional and easy to communicate with. The truck and equipment that came to do the job were new and clean. I would use Sergio's for my next project. read more

We called Sergio's Pool Service and asked if they would come quote us on some minor repairs to our Anthony Sylvan pool. Every other pool company we called (including Anthony and Sylvan) said they wouldn't even come out because they don't do minor repairs. Sergio's came out promptly and they were very professional. Upon us approving the quote, the repair took place quickly and they did an amazing job fixing a rebar issue, tile and coping. We will definitely call them in the future for our pool needs. read more

Terrible experience trying to get a quote from this company. Poor follow up led to me taking my business elsewhere. I was told multiple times that they would call me back to questions that I had about the process. I had to call them back multiple times after days went by on simple questions about upgrades, pricing, job timeline, etc... Not the kind of company I want to do business with for such a sizable investment. In reading some of their other reviews about poor follow up on issues after the job, it seems to fall in line with my experience. read more

I had Sergio's Pools replaster my pool and spa in May/June of 2018. They also replaced my tile border and re-set my bluestone coping. All of the people in the office, and especially the guys who came out to work on my project, were professional and friendly. We had to work around weather delays which is always a pain, but they did a good job of rescheduling work to get the job done. I would only say that there were a couple of times where more proactive communication would've been appreciated, but overall they did a great job and I would use them again. read more

We contracted with a company called Sergio Pools to have pool plaster work performed. Everything looked good in the beginning but soon thereafter, the pool finish started to look worn and faded. I contacted our local pool company who recommended Sergio Pools to us and 2 years later we have no resolution and the pool looks worse to the point I'm embarrassed by it. It seems like Sergio Pools is trying to blame anything but themselves and I just don't know where to turn. I paid to get my pool plastered in Diamond Brite finish and it looks terrible. I don't know whose fault it is but I do know I have a pool that looks terrible and I paid to have it look beautiful. I run a business and always try and make the customer happy and give them what they deserve. I hope Sergio's Pools does the same at some point. read more

We Contracted with Sergio's in 2020. The work was to include removal of old finish, repair of concrete, bring drain up to code, new tile and plaster finish. The work was performed in October. We maintained pool as directed for thirty days and then covered for winter. When the cover was removed the finish was found to have white rectangular patches through out the blue field of new plaster. Daisy, the Company's sales rep was contacted and informed us her father had passed. She would be taking over the business. She contacted the plaster manufacture (PMM, Marquis Series Plaster Finish) to come and evaluate the situation, which they did (telling us the drain was not to code and they would submit a full report to Daisy on their findings regarding the plaster finish). We have not heard from either of them since. We reached out to PMM, as a follow up and was informed Serigo's had never filed the warranty registration within the thirty day required period, so they would be doing nothing. Daisy has ignored letters, Emails and phone calls. Would not recommend this company for pool service. One other issue. The Sergio web site states they are an "approved member of the BBB", they are not. read more

Sergio's Pool did an excellent job . They had great service and did quality work.I greatly appreciate them working with me through every step of the process , they very knowledgeable and helpful. I would strongly recommend if you are wanting pool service ,5 star company I will definitely work with them again . read more
