This review is overdue, but it needs to be done…read more Long story short, a few years ago when masks were mandatory, I knew very little about skincare and how to treat my skin. Understanding my skin is oily, but not understanding what that means and what products I needed, I began to get cystic acne. This left HORRIBLE scarring. I did multiple rounds of microneedling (3) and multiple rounds of Opus (2) , with only some progress with my skin - and they were painful procedures + horrible downtime. Fast forward to the beginning of Summer 2025. I had the pleasure of meeting Rachel at the beginning of the summer. I expressed my concerns, and listened to her recommendations; Three rounds of super injector microneedling. I was pleasantly surprised when Rachel told me what to expect and what the down time looks like. I started my first session in June, then again in July and lastly in August. I moved overseas in September, so time was of the essence! Downtime was almost none. Pain? None. I didn't even use numbing cream, that's the best part! During the appointment, Rachel used products to prep my skin both BEFORE and AFTER the microneedling. The first session I actually fell asleep, and i'm so grateful that Rachel didn't mind my snoring!! So knowledgeable, professional, kind, and truly passionate about her work. I'm not sure any other esthetician will top this, for me. I'll be sure to come back any chance I get to visit home. The wall is marble (or look alike) and there is a small sitting area to the right as you walk in and the wall is attractively showcasing their skin care line. The hallway is pretty long and each room was equipped with all their tools and products. Makayla was very nice. She was also very knowledgable with everything scalp and skin. She did my entire face and scalp facial. At the very beginning, she loosened up my scalp with a scrape brush and used the microscopic light to magnify my scalp. OMG I can't believe how much care my scalp needed. I had a very relaxing facial. She massaged my décolletage, washed my scalp and hair. I was also given a warm eye mask scented with lavender. She also had a foot/leg warmer and massager. This was amazing!! Everything was wonderful. I could see the huge difference it made when she used the microscopic laser again! She came back with green tea and cookies. All this is $350. On the services menu it shows this package is 2.5 hours. I was a bit sad when she told me she was finished and it had only been 2.25 hours. I absolutely am thrilled and happy with this experience. I welcome any and all gift certificates for Esme. Would I continue to pay for these experiences? I'll be honest - I made more than 1 u-turn getting to the new spot, which is only directly accessible going northbound on Independence. If you're traveling south, you have to make u-turn. And if you miss it going north, you may have to make several. Now that I know where it is, I won't miss it again! Look for the red State Farm sign at the entrance to the professional center before turning in. I do really like this new spot which is solely for EA Esthetics. The entrance is lovely and welcoming, with beautifully-displayed retail merchandise to browse while you wait for your esthetician. It seems like an overwhelming selection of serums, lotions, washes, etc. but you will get an expert-recommendation after a consult with Emily or the other staff. On this visit, I was taken back for my treatment right at my appointment time. Amanda was kind enough to make sure I was comfortable before beginning - I was in for a long haul (2+ hours!). About halfway through treatment, I got chilly and she had a cozy blanket ready for me. She explained each step of the process so I knew what to expect and I was so happy with the results. I was a little scared at how dark my brows were initially, but as promised, they lightened to a perfect tint within a couple of days. Their website is so easy to use for booking and gives a detailed description of service and prices. For both my brows and lashes, it cost over $200, but this definitely seems to be competitive with other VB spas. I was incredibly happy with my results and will return for touch-ups, as recommended, in a few weeks. I have had a great experience each time I have been in and highly recommend Emily and Amanda for any skincare need!

This office is clean, bright and inviting. A window wall adds to the ambience. Office personnel are friendly and welcoming. Staff at the office would sometimes recognize me by name, which adds a personal touch to the appointment. While using this as my primary location I saw Dr Ashley Reed, who was an excellent doctor. She has since moved to the Kempsville Road office. You can be certain that any doctor who works at the location has the training & credentials.that make them a Pariser physician. I have now been to the office twice. The location is off the corner of First Colonial and Dam Neck. The parking lot was clean and there were plenty of spaces for a mid afternoon appointment. The entrance is opposite the street. The practice is on the second floor. My child's appointment was with Dr. Kristyn Beck. She is the new kid on the block and practices with two veteran physicians. She trained at EVMS under well known and respected children's dermatologist Judith Williams who is a friend. The staff was friendly upon checking-in. The waiting room is small but adequate. I found it clean and comfortable. Forms can be completed in advance by mail or you can arrive early to fill out in the waiting room. The wait time to see Dr. Beck was reasonable at around 25 minutes after paperwork was turned in. I immediately liked her bedside manner and she hit it off with my daughter quickly. She was easy to talk to and had loads of smiles to reassure my daughter. I found her to be confident and knowledgeable during the exam. An immediate diagnosis and treatment plan was achieved in no time. A prescription was then provided. Dr. Beck is young, energetic and eager to lift her practice off the ground. Most insurance plans are accepted. I'm picky and do not often write physician reviews. This was one I had to write and happy to provide 5 stars.
