Our bed-and-breakfast can accommodate 16 people in total. There are two guest grain bins each one sleeps eight people in four queen size beds. There are two full-size bathrooms in each of our guest grain bins. The large red barn in between the two guest grain bin is what we lovingly refer to as our common area or "the barn". This is where we serve all of our homemade farm breakfasts and any other special occasion meals we would share with family and friends, such as birthday parties, friends giving, anniversaries and other specialty celebrations. So that our guests have choices on outside seating and activities, we also have two recreational green bins. One of those bins is set up with a gas, fire pit and bright red rocking chairs so you can rock your cares away with your friends and family. The other recreational grain been is a unique set up with the stars in the sky as your roof and white lights for a special lighting effect. Check in was easy and the view on the hill would be nice if not rainy and can't imagine what a great sunny day would be like (probably very pretty!). They do have a 3 mile walking trail but if you try it you need to grab the map first or you'll think you're heading to a private road. We turned back without a map thinking we went the wrong way - rookie mistake but wish we would have been told to grab a map prior to heading out. Or be handed one as newbies... The owner I believe lives in the facility as well, and it was Easter weekend. He was talkative first night upon check in and did stop by outside to chat. The waterfall was not working and he said maybe he'd get it working by the time we left. Not a big deal, but never did turn on. It was odd that his family lived there or was visiting for Easter so we did feel a little like intruders over the weekend. Room: was freezing cold, and first night the heat was not working well. We did have a fireplace in the room but the unit to use for heat was not working no matter what we tried even with staff assistance. The bathroom was freezing and we had to use a space heater to try to warm it. We did complain the second night and nothing was fixed as owner was having Easter dinner upstairs with his family. Hot Tub: clean, small and perfect for 2 people. Made the trip. Didn't use the small table fire pit. They don't tell you that they drop off deserts at night and the next morning we woke up with melted ice cream outside the room. Communication breakdown. Coffee was folders, nothing great but did have a selection of offerings for breakfast time. Staff workers were amazing - kind and super friendly given that it was Easter weekend. You can tell they do try to give you the best experience. The staff hired here were amazing and friendly. Games are available for the rainy days. TV has most steaming services, rooms a tad older look. Somethings not functioning - like the sound machine, TV being finicky, and heat in room. We probably will not choose this room. Would rather stay at the rooms that are on the river and try that route next time!

Best Decision I've Made This Year! I don't usually write…read morereviews, but after my second of three planned Reiki & Gemstone Chakra Balancing Sessions with Jennifer, I felt compelled to share my experience. Choosing to work with her has truly been one of the most transformative decisions I've made for myself this year. From the moment I met Jennifer, any nervousness I had melted away. She radiates warmth and made me feel instantly welcomed and at ease. I knew right then I had made the right choice. During our first session, I shared that I was struggling with stress, overwhelm, and difficulty staying focused and present. Not long into the session, Jennifer asked if I'd been experiencing back pain--something I had completely forgotten to mention, but had indeed been dealing with. Amazingly, in the weeks following that session, the pain disappeared. I didn't need a single pain reliever. Even more remarkable was the emotional shift. I felt calmer, more grounded, and genuinely happy. When I did feel off, I found it much easier to return to a positive state. The intentions I set during the guided meditation add-on began manifesting in real, tangible ways. During the session I could feel my energy shifting and freeing. By the end of the session, my pain (which is typically very difficult to handle) was reduced significantly. In fact, I felt almost no physical pain. I was able to breath and move more freely. The session was also relaxing. I'm curious by nature and would typically be watching everything but I felt compelled to close my eyes and breath as Jennifer put me at ease. She explained what she was doing, shared her findings, and gave me tools to assist the things with which I struggle. She's very knowledgeable and has advice for almost every concern. Until now, the massage quality and overall experience had been good, and we consistently tipped well, typically $100 per massage therapist. We had a last-minute situation come up and missed our scheduled couples massage. Afterward, Aquarius charged us a total of $720, split into two separate transactions: $300 and $420. I understand that businesses have cancellation policies. However, charging loyal monthly clients $720 after one missed appointment feels excessive, aggressive, and completely out of proportion to the situation. For us, this destroyed the goodwill they had built over months of repeat business. We will not be returning. I am filing complaints with the appropriate agencies in Missouri and I would strongly caution others to be very careful before doing business with Aquarius Health & Wellness. I also have serious concerns about their card-on-file and customer data practices. Since they were able to charge our card after the missed appointment, customers should ask how their payment information is being stored, who has access to it, and whether Aquarius Health & Wellness is properly following applicable data security and payment card compliance standards. The massage experience itself was previously good. The way this was handled was not.
