Only stayed here for 25 days before getting pulled out of the program by my guardian. We were told…read moreit was a dual treatment center but did not handle the mental well-being of clients at all. Staff like Scott, Naomi, and Jen are very good people and care about what they do and the teens there. Some good counselors and some are very bad and won't even meet with clients once a week as they are supposed to do. The administration and some staff are unprofessional and seem to put and take kids off and on meds more than handle their stress and conflict as needed. They don't get back to parents and the director was only interested in talking to my grandma once he heard that she was going to pull me out. Staff don't handle conflicts well and are more interested in holding the reactions accountable and not what caused these outbursts. I had a staff tell us she would rather be high than be stressed from us, as well as the counslers and staff being open about the fact most kids who leave do not stay sober. If you want to not be updated on your kid, have them leave more overwhelmed, and have them be in drama/conflict with not only clients but staff, send them here. they do not handle mental health, how to actually work on urges to use, or attempt to fix their facilities problems. Client request and complain forms don't do anything and are ignored by Erika and Wylie most of the time anyways. DONT GO HERE. I met people I will cherish and some staff are okay, but it is not a good place for a teen who is struggling with their mental well-being.
