Only stayed here for 25 days before getting pulled out of the program by my guardian. We were told it was a dual treatment center but did not handle the mental well-being of clients at all. Staff like Scott, Naomi, and Jen are very good people and care about what they do and the teens there. Some good counselors and some are very bad and won't even meet with clients once a week as they are supposed to do. The administration and some staff are unprofessional and seem to put and take kids off and on meds more than handle their stress and conflict as needed. They don't get back to parents and the director was only interested in talking to my grandma once he heard that she was going to pull me out. Staff don't handle conflicts well and are more interested in holding the reactions accountable and not what caused these outbursts. I had a staff tell us she would rather be high than be stressed from us, as well as the counslers and staff being open about the fact most kids who leave do not stay sober. If you want to not be updated on your kid, have them leave more overwhelmed, and have them be in drama/conflict with not only clients but staff, send them here. they do not handle mental health, how to actually work on urges to use, or attempt to fix their facilities problems. Client request and complain forms don't do anything and are ignored by Erika and Wylie most of the time anyways. DONT GO HERE. Nice program was there for 97 days had a decent stay but I gotta say counselors are awesome good people to talk to when your struggling. There's good staff and staff that just dgaf but you gotta treat everyone the way you want to be treated and if they don't treat you good you can always make a client complaint. But after all I say it helps if you actually want help.You learn discipline,life skills,mental health,chemical use therapy skills and you get to learn with an awesome teacher and para who will not let you fail because they care about you .There are good groups that clients can attend.since I left wings I've been doing good in life I'm now 134 days sober. Wings ATC Claims to be a Dual Diagnosis Treatment Center for Youth. In reality they don't do much. Our child was transferred there from another facility to get help from their on-staff Psychiatrist to manage medications. After 15 days our child had not seen the Psychiatrist, even though insurance covered up to 2 visits a week. When pressed on that, they said the Psychiatrist is not on staff, they are contracted, and they refuse to see anyone until 21 days at Wings. This is regardless if they come from the street or another facility. Then, instead of moderating a difficulty between clients, they choose to kick our child out. So 15 days, and we get nothing. If you want to get your kids help, go elsewhere. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN HERE! This facility was a complete waste of my family's in child's time. Everyone from intake, Mental Health, CDC counselors, are completely rude, narcissistic, they treated me so disrespectfully caught in so many lies and treated me as if they knew my child better than I did. I am still working with my insurance to correct billing issues, and was also treated disrespectfully rudely talk to and hung up on on the billing coordinator at the wings facility as well. My daughter attended Wings Adolescent Treatment Center, a dual diagnosis program. She is currently 90 days sober. Thanks to this wonderful program! I can't even believe how amazing this program was. My daughter had attended a few other programs the past year and nothing even came close. To start off the staff is out of this world from day one all the way to the end. Very nice, professional. positive group of people. After leaving the facility she still has contact with all of the staff. The facility is great, it feels like home my daughter said compared to all of the other places. There is a great cook who cooks homemade meals everyday, there is artwort, couches, a nice bedroom, bathrooms were nice. A lot of the other places were in basements and were cold and dreary. Makes getting sober so much better. It really feels like a family there everyone works together. They offered so many great programs while being there, they attended school, went to surrounding cities for outdoor activities, Played outside on the basketball courts, they got out each day which is great. As the program was coming to an end they helped get everything set up for life after this program. They set up all of her groups, schooling, counseling, therapy everything. The drive Is 2 hours away from where we live and I drove up there religiously every week because I could tell this program was really working, I can't say enough good things about Wings!
