I ended up stopping early and found out I actually needed surgery on the other body part the therapy was hurting. After that surgery I went to Valir and wow was I impressed! Trey and Tammy are awesome. Trey takes the time to listen and each time I go in I'm not just doing the same thing day after day. He adjusts my therapy each session so that when I walk out I may be sore but I can actually tell I'm getting better. I also appreciate that he is my therapist and it's pretty much been 1-1 or on occasion there has been another patient but it's staggered so that either the other person is ending when I'm beginning or opposite. Trey wants you to get better so you may do the same exercises but he increases the intensity so that you get stronger. If an exercise hurts or your having a bad pain day he listens and adjusts what your doing or changes the work out completely so that you still get a good work out but you don't leave in frustration because your hurting worse because it was too aggravating. If you have another concern, like for me it's balance, he has adjusted my therapy so that I am still getting the strengthening but he's added things to help get my balance back unlike the other place where it was the same exercises at the same intensity time after time. He also explains what your doing, watches to make sure you have the correct body position and explains each exercise and why your doing it so you have a good understanding of how it works and why. This may sound stupid but Trey and Tammy have been a blessing after all that I have been through and I feel confident after my next surgery, which will probably be soon, that once I finish my therapy after that surgery I will have the best chance at returning to work and home life almost like before.

The guy I got was blind but was good minus some very huge issues. He consistently went over my bones including my spine. I had bruises right over my spine and hip bones. He also left me completely uncovered for the last half of the massage which was uncomfortable. I really wanted my calves worked on but he didn't make it to them. I specified this at the beginning. My husband had a similar experience where his masseuse massaged over his bones multiple times. This is not proper technique. I'm guessing they hire anyone and don't check their technique which is scary.
