Due to the low ratings, I was skeptical, but surprisingly, I had a good experience. The front desk did lack customer service. Lamia was my therapist. She was right on schedule and also very kind and professional. The massage was great, better than the higher-end massage place I've been to. I get ticklish on my feet, but she found a way to lessen it. Arrived early for a pre booked appointment, the gentleman at the front desk was rude and assumed I was a walk-in. I waited 30 minutes for my appointment at 1pm, no biggie I was early. While waiting two therapists came out complaining about customers, being ready to leave, etc. I completely understand, but time and place. Finally at 1:05, the front desk attendant informed me my therapist had the flu and there was nothing he could do. - it's flu season, I hope she gets better soon but the rest of the staff definitely needs a professionalism course. Julianna did my massage. She was pleasant and made me feel comfortable. The front desk was also friendly and helpful at helping me pick an essential oil for my massage. Room was freezing and she moved/paced rather quickly which came across rough. Not that her pressure was too hard but rather she seemed to struggle with timing which made it hard for me relax. I ended up bruised on my arm. Last note is, there was no paperwork to feel out. Not online or in person. Nothing to say if you have problem areas or areas to avoid. I joined Elements over a year ago and had OK massages and then stopped going. I realized I had several free massages so I decided to use them up before I canceled my membership. I made an appointment and was lucky enough to get Camille as a therapist. I have no idea how to explain her style, she just can read your body and know. I have had pain in my knee for years and she has been able to remove the pain from my knee and my back that is always a hot mess. I have gone several times to her and I just get feeling better and better - so much less pain that I just asssumed we lived with everyday. Needless to say I have not canceled my membership yet..... I initially had a great prenatal massage from Stacy that prompted me to sign up for the subscription. After I had my baby, I couldn't do monthly massages anymore. I cancelled my membership and they failed to let me know this would cause my 4 massages that I already paid for to expire. I was then told by the owner that I could pay the $30/massage difference to still redeem those massages. Now that I've tried to book a massage, they changed their minds, stole the $380 I already paid, and said I would still have to pay $125 if I wanted to book a massage. While the front staff and massage therapists are nice, this place is a scam. Definitely don't do the subscription bc they will steal your money. read more

My mom has a monthly membership to Elements Massage, so she gave me one of her passes, and we both got massages. The masseuse listened to the areas I wanted worked on and then actually applied the amount of pressure I wanted. I've often had trouble with other masseuses not being able to do a deep tissue massage or saying they will but then not applying much pressure at all. This was not the case with her. I felt great the next day. This business would definitely get five stars, but they didn't have any change when we went to pay, so that made the transaction more awkward than I would have liked. I would send the most skittish person here for a first massage. The most important thing, in my opinion, is that you communicate with your therapist as you go. I really appreciate finding Elements Theapeutic Massage!! I have some old Army injuries that cause me a lot of pain. I am new to the OKC area and was on the hunt for a GOOD massage. I needed it today. I needed relief!! I called a few places and nobody was able to get me in. Then I called Elements. They had an opening at 1 for a 55 minute massage. Also since I was a first time client I got my massage for only $49! I was a little hesitant when I arrived to see that it's a "club" massage place. You know where you pay a monthly membership. I have never had good experiences with these kinds of establishments. But, I am glad I stayed!!! Elise listened to my concerns and went to work. She was amazing! There's nothing wrong with Elements, but it's not amazing either. For us, it is close-to-home, which is really nice for something that's so hard to make time for. We can leave five minutes before a massage and still make it in time. My husband bought a monthly package, which gets him an hour-long massage once a month for $55. I can also add my own for $45 after that. The massages roll over if you don't use them, and I can use his if he ends up with extras. We can always get in, even when we schedule a day or two before for a weekend massage or sometimes same day for a weekday massage, which works well for us since our schedules are somewhat flexible. So all of that is great, and the place seems very clean and well-kept. Here's what's not over-the-top awesome. They seem to have a lot of turnover, which makes sense, because if you could have your own practice or work in a more upscale salon or spa, why wouldn't you do that? So I assume folks that get very good go on to nicer digs where they can make more money and establish a clientele. The people who have worked on me were good, but it's a bit hard to not be able to find someone you like and expect them to stick around. Again, good for them if they've moved on to a better setup for them! As far as massages go, if the best I've ever had was a 10, this would probably be a 5-6. But, points for convenience and ease of scheduling make it more user-friendly than trying to get in with an in-demand therapist who is across town, via traffic, stressful parking, etc. This is so easy and when I leave, I'm so close to home, I don't lose all my relaxation by the time I get home. read more

Overall a terrible experience from beginning to end. Firstly, I did reach out to the company with this and asked the owner to contact me. I didn't want to air dirty laundry, but no one has contacted me. Secondly, I recently moved here from San Antonio and am very familiar with the Elements Massage name and am incredibly disappointed that a franchise would want to associate themselves with this establishment. It really damages their professionalism. When you walk into a place to get a massage, you would expect a tranquil environment that would invite relaxation before your service. When I walked in last Saturday morning, a couple occupied the couch and were sitting in front of boxes of carryout breakfast. On top of that, the couple and the receptionist were conversing extremely loud. Not tranquil in the least. My time with the therapist was also incredibly unprofessional. He informed me that massage therapy was his "hobby." I don't have a problem with that, however I do when I go to an establishment that at their other locations hold that professionalism to the highest level. My regular therapist in San Antonio took such pride in his position and was constantly wanting to learn more. I don't appreciate paying the same amount I did for him as I did for the gentleman who it was obvious that this wasn't his passion. My therapist also made me super uncomfortable by saying "I hope your husband isn't a jealous man." Excuse me? He goes on to say that a lot of women are uncomfortable with being in the same room as a male therapist and continued to tell me horror stories. My therapist was also very much an amateur with draping. There were multiple times that intimate parts of my body were fully exposed. If that wasn't enough, I arrived on time, was taken back 10 minutes late, and the massage ended 10 minutes early. I paid for a 90 minute massage and received just over an hour. I did not tip. I just had my first professional massage here. The environment was really relaxing and quiet. My massage therapist Tricia was really great, she asked me exactly what I was hoping to get out of the session, and checked in with me periodically to make sure I was comfortable. The massage was really wonderful. My only complaint is with the receptionists. From the moment I walked in they were trying to sell me a membership. It sounds like a great deal, but they were just too pushy. Even when I walked out, the first thing out of her mouth was "so, are we going to sign up for the membership?". Super friendly staff, lots of parking, clean building. I did call ahead to see if they were taking walk ins and they were which was ideal. I got a one hour upper body massage from Sarah and it was awesome! It was refreshing for someone to actually use a lot of pressure and talk with me after about my troubled areas. This place is ok, but I've had way better massages in nicer places. My husband gave me a prenatal massage as a gift and I had never had one before, but expected the prenatal table not to just lay on my side. Either way it would have been nice to get my whole body instead of just my back. They took some time to get me back and the therapist was very nice once she did. The massage was mediocre and ended very fast. There was no clock in the room but I looked at my phone and the massage was definitely under an hour (which it was supposed to be). Sadly I didn't voice my opinions cause my husband had already paid and tipped, but I will not go here again. When I went up to the counter she said, "you're only allowed 2 hour massages." (then why did she schedule me for that?) I said, "Can I got ahead and go back in there for one more hour?" She said, "No, we're all booked up. You have two options. #1 pay for a 2hr massage for that 50min massage you got or #2 pay for the massage and keep my 2 hr massage credit for another time." They will EXPIRE and they will not even communicate with you when you ask the manager to call you back your call will not be returned. When you go for a therapudic massage most people are going because they are in pain. The front desk clerk is not professional and didn't even want to sell me the Christmas packages that were advertised to the members via email even when I read it to her.
