The first aid I was provided was indifferent, did not really engage with my mom, did not consistently provide the care I requested. She would just not show up for shifts, and I did not receive any notification. I had to notify the agency. This left my mom without critical assistance. When I contacted the agency, I had to consistently call to follow up with them for explanations and confirmation that my mother would have a care provider for the agreed upon shifts. When the first aid did not work out, they offered to find another aid. Again, the communication from them was horrible. They never notified me when they found an aid. I found out when I went to my mom's house to take care of her and was surprised an aid was there. The next shift, I got a call from the agency about 20 minutes prior to the shift saying the aid would not be there to care for my mom and they did not have a substitute. I terminated service with them at that point.

I made an appointment with Kanoa, the owner, which was simple and available to complete online. I filled in the health info form available online to complete prior to arrival. Arrived at appointment and Kanoa took the time to explain all massage options and discuss which might be the best option for me based on my needs. They offer Orthopedic, CranioSacral, Accu-Roller, Reiki, and Scar tissue management and more for options. You can tell that staff have been highly educated and make you feel comfortable in their presence. The room was a nice temperature and large space to move around freely. The 60 min massage was tailored to my needs exactly. I chose the Orthopedic type massage and had wonderful benefits that I noticed immediately and for weeks following. I have now not had a wound seen in a week. To boot, recent supplies were wrong- the same wrong supplies they sent once before. They need to crack the whip a little better, w/their supplier. Once they acquired VNS Fingerlakes, my service started slipping. This verifies all my misgivings about corporate mergers. The customer gets the shaft. I will be contacting my wound clinic about today, at opening tomorrow. Addendum: a full 5 hrs after I was forced to use more detrimental supplies, and after a lot of hard work from my nurse, the supply company righted their wrong. Proper supplies, received.
