On my first visit (for a cleaning), I was told I needed to return for a filling. I was given an appointment date and time. I returned and they said I didn't have an appointment and I didn't need a filling. Then they stared at me until I walked out of the office. I emailed and they said that, yes, I did need a filling, please come back in a couple of weeks. When I go back, the dentist and assitant are in the middle of a conversation and stop for a few seconds to ask "Got any plans for the weekend?" But they walk out while I'm answering their question. That was the last time dentist spoke to me until he walked out of the room for good. Everything about this place has been inconvenient and weird.

After our exams, we were required to schedule a separate second visit just to review our results--which is where the experience really went downhill. ​During that follow-up, it felt less like a medical office and more like a high-pressure used car lot. The practice presented both of us with treatment plans recommending thousands of dollars in dental work. We found this suspicious given that we had seen our previous dentist only six months prior with no major issues flagged. ​Once we received their recommended treatment plans in writing, we sought a second opinion from another dentist. As it turns out, none of the proposed work was actually necessary. We understand that clinical philosophies can vary from dentist to dentist, but the aggressive hard sell and excessive treatment recommendations made us extremely uncomfortable. Would not recommend.

Dr Wilkin is the kindest, most patient man. They also made the billing process make sense to me. This is another area of weakness for me...none of it is usually very clear to my mind. This was simple for me to understand. I've been to see Dr Wallace about 3 times this year, once for a check up and twice for fillings…read more Every time I've had good experiences and all of the assistants, hygienists and Dr Wallace have been very kind, knowledgeable, informative and understanding. Dr Wallace gives you a call the next day to make sure you're ok too, which is a nice little touch. The office and waiting areas are always clean and tidy, no clutter and very professional. I did have a shock after my first visit for fillings. I didn't realise how expensive they were. As it turns out, the new lady at the desk had forgotten to give me the estimate and I didn't think to ask for one. After I paid, I got the estimate for the rest of the fillings, and on my most recent visit, Dr Wallace was very apologetic. I should have received the estimate prior to any work being done. He gave me a discount and made sure I was 100% ok to continue. He was so sincere and I trust him so we're all good now.

To reiterate, I came here during COVID for a painful tooth, but the dentist focused on a different tooth, claiming I urgently needed a replacement crown for one that was only two years old. I felt pressured into the procedure, and the crown was poorly done in both fit and color. Another dentist has since told me it needs to be replaced, which says it all. I'm extremely frustrated by this entire experience, from being coerced into unnecessary work to the poor quality of care, and now being blindsided by a collections bill years later. I was quoted a price and told the rest was covered by insurance. I certainly don't recommend this underhanded clinic.

And Dr Holly and her team are so friendly and good at what they do. I went in to get a crown. This is usually a two visit process, but not here! After my tooth was prepped and scanned, Dr Holly had my crown built in office. While I was waiting for that to be completed, my wonderful dental assistant Kody took me back to the relaxation room. She gave me a warm paraffin dip for my hands and set me up in their super fancy massage chair. I was given the choice of watching the large screen tv or listening to ocean sounds. So very relaxing, and very much appreciated by this anxious patient. After about a half hour of pampering my crown was finished, and I was able to walk out of the office with my permanent crown in place - no temporary crown or multiple visits!

I have EXTREME TMJ and she was very patient with me, let me take several breaks when my jaw would start hurting to rest it. Even the Local anesthesia injection was probably the least painful I've ever had. She offered me two procedures for my issues. Dr. Kristina was overall excellent. The assistants were equally as gentle and caring. The office staff was extremely courteous and professional. Where to start....I hate dentists (Yes I said it) I have had some pretty hardcore dental treatment…read moreand care since I was 8 years old (yes I was that child). I have had horrible experiences, good experiences, and ok experiences. Needless to say over the years of experience I am like a "Wine Sommelier" of dentists. I found Ken Caryl Dental Center after doing extensive research on dentists in the area. Yes, I had fired my previous dentist (not to be named) in Lone Tree, and was on the hunt. I made a standard teeth cleaning, and dental exam appointment with Dr. Rand to test them out. Might I say it was as close to "Love At First Sight" as it can get. Dr. Rand is an amazing dentist. First off he cares, and if he doesn't he is one heck of an actor and should quit dentistry and move to Hollywood. He takes time to make sure you get what you want. I had a dental implant that was done 10 years ago. I had never put a permanent crown on it, and after gaining some trust with Dr. Rand I mentioned that I would like to start this process. As he began the process he was not comfortable with loading down my implant without an opinion of a perio. Fun fact, the perio who did my implant was still in town and he was able to get ahold of her. After an appointment with her they both gave the recommendation not to load down the current implant. Why waste $1000's of dollars for my permanent crown, and have it fail in a few years? (TOTALLY MY FAULT FOR THE FIRST FAILURE) Needless to say that's when things got complicated! I had my old implant removed (by my perio), bone graft, and new implant placed (4 months later). What does a general dentist have to do with my implant you ask? A lot actually! Due to all of this happening while I was moving halfway across the country my treatment plan needed to be coordinated and differ a little bit from the "Norm". Dr. Rand worked after hours with my perio (Who also got a killer review) on my treatment plan from start to finish. I have never seen two doctors from separate offices work, and communicate like this EVER! From pre-surgery, to surgery, to post surgery everything has worked seamlessly! Did I mention that I don't even live in Denver anymore? That's right I travel back because of the trust I had in my dentists performing this treatment. I will also continue to travel back for all of my treatments and finishing this one. About 10 days after my implant surgery, and not being in Denver I was feeling some looseness in my healing abutment and temporary crown. I called Dr. Rand explained to him over the phone of what was taking place, and he explained what the potential problems could be. Instead of having me travel back he called a dentist in the area I am at that he knew to take a look at me. I must say good dentists must know good dentists because who he sent me to was wonderful to work with (he will also be getting an amazing review). The problem was exactly what Dr. Rand had mentioned and it was taken care of. For him to personally check in on me, and ensure that everything was getting taken care of (after hours) is what I consider above and beyond. I have worked with Dr. Rand the most (hence why I have talked about him), and I am not trying to take anything away from Dr. Goral. The few times I have seen Dr. Goral (when Dr. Rand was out of the office) he has been great as well. I honestly would feel comfortable with either dentist. Enough about dentists let's talk about the office staff and the ladies in the back! You can't get a better office staff then what they have! From the ladies in the front always working to get me treatment plan estimates, scheduling, etc. They always have a smile on, and give you a warm welcome (even with a mask these days). The dental assistants and hygienists In the back are just as good. They truly listen, care, and are amazing. I might add I have never once had a bad experience in this office. I think it might be time Dr. Rand and Dr. Goral look at some good raises or bonuses for these ladies (Y'all can thank me later).
