Also the masseuse did not ask or confirm whether I had any injuries before starting, which felt unprofessional. The entire appointment felt rushed, and the pressure was very inconsistent. Although we agreed on medium-firm pressure, about half of the session felt extremely light more like I was being rubbed than actually massaged. Overall, the massage felt lackluster, as if she was just trying to get through it quickly. She also applied pressure directly on my bones at times, which was uncomfortable and painful. The most disappointing part was the foot massage. I've had better at nail salons. It felt like 15 minutes of poking and squeezing with little to no real pressure or technique, much of it done under the sheets without much effort. Unfortunately, I didn't feel any relief afterward, which was frustrating. To make matters worse, I received a dirty look when I paid because I did not leave the recommended 20% tip, which felt unprofessional and uncomfortable.
