Dr. Minette has been a true God send to my son. My son was suffering from intense worry and anxiety…read moreand I was not willing to put him on drugs. My husband found her as she came highly rated, and we were absolutely amazed at how much time she spent with us at the intial visit, and the continuing care and natural remedies she has provided him. He is a much different person these days, and I attribute that to her consultative and very personal care she continues to provide. I highly recommend Dr. Minette! Sallie

I have been a patient of Dr. Minette's for, at least, five years now. I initially went to see her…read morefor my chronic migraines, thinking I'd tried just about everything else, why not naturopathic treatment? Best decision I ever made. When I had my first appointment with Dr. Minette, I was concurrently seeing my ninth neurologist. All the different pharmaceutical cocktails I have taken over the years, dietary changes, "my (insert relationship here) takes this, that, and the other thing" trial & errors, did absolutely nothing to get to the root cause of my migraines. They didn't touch the frequency, or intensity, of the migraines. I was having 4-5 migraines a week. They were so bad, I can remember lying there praying for death. Fortunately that was not my fate. Dr. Minette is absolutely the best. Every time I talk to her, I feel like we could be the best of friends. She asks a plethora of questions so she can approach your treatment in a manner that is going to give you the best results. There may be some tweaking along the way, which you would experience in conventional medicine, as well. She doesn't push remedies and/or products on you that you can only purchase from her. Often times she'll email me a link from a website where I might be able to get what I need at a lower cost, or with an expedited shipping. The proof is in the pudding, so to speak, right? Within the first year of being treated by Dr. Minette, my migraines decreased in frequency & intensity; to the point where I have been sustaining 1-2 migraines in a month at a decreased frequency, as opposed to the 4-5 migraines in a week before treatment. I honestly can't remember the last time I filled my pharmaceutical migraine medication. I recently relocated to the Houston, TX area and was quite stressed at the thought of having to find a new ND. Fortunately Dr. Minette is able to continue my treatment via phone consult and email. I, of course, can't guarantee that would be the same for everyone, but I am so grateful that I can continue receiving care from Dr. Minette.

The receptionist, nurses, and the rest of the medical staff were awesome. During this visit, I had both an endoscopy and a colonoscopy. I had to arrive at 7:20am and I was in my car heading home by 9:30.

Carolina Digestive Health - Davidson, NC uses Carolina Endoscopy Centers - Huntersville, NC for…read moretheir procedures. My family has experienced both an endscopy and colonoscopy here. We were dissatisfied with both. 1. Whether being ordered to disrobe and remove your panties like you're going for a good raping, not being appropriatetly draped while on the gurney nor in the procedure room, not being offered moon pants (for colonoscopy, this basic offer should be made to EVERY patient since access to genitalia not part of the deal) , nor offered a single gendered team, patient modesty is not at the top of CEC's list. 2. My wife was "wheeled back 5 minutes" ago like she was a piece of beef - - quotation from a conversation with the endo nurse who wanted to know where the hell I was... happened to be collecting my kids from the bus stop. You see, they wanted to get my wife "done" because she was last and so they simply pulled her procedure forward by 45 minutes. Yes, you read that right. Your personhood is gone and you're a colon or a stomach. 3. Which makes the second complaint all the more odd. After the procedure, you are treated as if you are an senile 80 year old grandmother with bad eye sight and faulty hips. Cookies and junk food are offered, which certainly contributes to the problems we are trying to solve, like you are unable to wait 20 minutes to get some real food, you're kept waiting for a verbal doctor's report forever while you "sober up" - -except you're fine after no more than 5 minutes, offered unnecessary assistance getting dressed (just weird!), and FORCED to accept being wheeled out to your car like you just gave birth. This combines to remove whatever dignity you might have had left. I had business meetings I needed to get to and this idiotic grandma routine screwed up the rest of my day. Let me relieve you of liability and get to my wife waiting with the kids in the parking lot as I see fit. Customize the treatment and get rid of the lowest common denominator nonsense. 4. Carolina Endoscopy Centers has to figure out this direct family member must be present PSEUDO requirement. We have 3 young kids and no extended family to be had. I was dropped off at the front door and had my endoscopy with no questions asked. No one present...not a big deal. Where my wife was concerned, you'd think I was doing the procedure since I was dressed down by the endo nurse for leaving to pick up our kids from the school bus 45 minutes before her scheduled time. The requirement does not work for many transplants and CEC doesn't routinely enforce it anyway e.g. "we try to work with you"...well actually folks, you don't try to work with us... we are forced into CEC's template and it is a sorry one. I am certain that CDH and CEC have a financial relationship but you should at least ask CDH about alternatives or skip the tandem altogether. They combine to provide an inflexible mill-like experience.
