Today I went to Erase Spa for my laser hair removal appointment, and I was genuinely excited to…read morebegin my session. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. Your website clearly states the estimated length of each laser treatment (for example, full legs - 20 minutes, stomach line - 15 minutes), so I had certain expectations regarding the quality and thoroughness of the service. I arrived early for my appointment and was the only client in the waiting room. After waiting about five minutes, the technician brought me in on time. From the start, there was very little communication. She only asked the standard questions about retinol use, antibiotics, and similar medical information, but she never explained the treatment process or what to expect during the session. What concerned me most was the treatment itself. The technician did not mark or properly assess the treatment areas, and it felt like she was simply guessing rather than being precise. She didn't pause to check that every area had been treated evenly. When I asked her to lower the air pressure because I was uncomfortable, my request was ignored. This location is not the same since the previous technicians left. The level of professionalism and attention to detail has noticeably declined. There was no welcoming atmosphere, no effort to make me feel comfortable, and no sense of structure. What was especially frustrating is that there wasn't a single other client waiting, yet the technician still rushed through my appointment. The session was completed much faster than expected, and I honestly do not believe all of the treatment areas were covered properly. Laser hair removal should be performed carefully and methodically. The technician should be checking that every section is treated evenly rather than rushing through the appointment. As a paying customer, I expect a thorough treatment that matches the standards your company advertises. I left feeling like my appointment was rushed and that I did not receive the quality of care I paid for. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so future clients receive the level of service they deserve

I've had many different technicians over the years, some better than others but all of them are professional when doing the treatments. The front desk staff in particular provides great customer service and are very easy to contact when I need to schedule or reschedule an appointment. I've had laser on most of my body and now I only need to go every couple of months for maintenance since some areas do grow back due to hormones. They use Cynosure laser and this has been very effictive for my skin. Getting laser was the best investment since I really don't ever have to worry about shaving anymore. They always have different promotions available so the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend this place if you're interested in laser hair removal.

One is, so I can't even book until I provide a doctor's note. I could've done that weeks ago, and I would've just bought a 50% off package with the holiday deals and booked my first session if I didn't need to first come in for a 3 minute consult. The front desk staff was nice (though I have no clue what their names were because no one introduced themselves) and I was seen on time, so two stars for that, but three stars off for wasting my time. I've been preparing for weeks to begin laser treatments - no waxing, no sun, only shaving, etc., and now I'm unsure whether I should bother going back or find a different provider. UPDATE: Following my consultation, I received an email soliciting my feedback. I provided it and expressed that I had a poor experience during my consultation but remained interested in purchasing a package and working with a different specialist. No one acknowledged or responded. It now seems I'll be purchasing services elsewhere since Laser Spa doesn't care enough to earn my business with a simple response to an email. The location really is convenient and I prepared for many weeks for the treatments, so this is highly disappointing.

I always expect to walk out of a facial with battered skin (for reference, I was a Mario Badescu client for years) but I often come out of a facial with Marta looking BETTER than when I went in. I've tried a few other places before my friend recommended me this one. I must say my experience was more than satisfying. The way I was treated and results were better than I expected. First of all - that laser machine was with higher quality than in other places. It was less painful and gave me better results. I didn't have any irritations, my sensitive skin wasn't even red after treatment and the greatest part was - this laser cooled my skin with the special cold air during the whole procedure. Laser technician provided me with detailed consultation about my hair and skin type, answered all my questions. I left with a nice feeling of combining laser treatment with a visit to dermatologist. Staff was extremely nice and satisfying. They were serving tea with cookies in a small back yard before and after treatments. All facilities there are new and clean. Discovering a fancy back yard, very quite, with small garden in addition was a nice surprise. I highly recommend this place to people looking for professional assistance effective results and impressive customer service. read more

I live in Philadelphia and I had skin problems on ma face and under my chin after shaving. Then a friend referred me to SerenaMax Laser spa. My friend told me that it is in New York City. I wondered why go long way to NYC to get a laser hair treatment, instead of getting one in Philadelphia. But I was quickly assured that this place is the best laser treatment spa around, with the best prices. It was my first time to have a laser treatment. You know, it is usually quite painful but Daria made my whole experience of it very exciting for me. Daria is wonderful. Her customer service is just perfect. For two years already, I been a satisfied customer. I love the quality of her service. Daria treats her customers with a lot of respect and courtesy, and she is extremely professional. I even have my next appointment at the end of this month and I just can't wait to be there. Daria, I just want to say thank you for the great quality service. You are amazing. I found them by a friend recommendation. They are very clean, kind and professional about their work and work area. Daria is amazing and honestly so beautiful, she looks like an Elf from the lord of the rings :) She helps me for laser hair removal, I had past experiences which I have never satisfied (hairs got tiny bit thin but never finished in an over year) even though my skin color is wheat color) First, she is detail oriented and explain each steps before and after. She marks all areas needs to be done Machine they use is not painful at all Hairs almost done in 3 session on bikini area and armpit She never says for your question "yes, we can do it" if it is not realistic and if they know someone who can help you , they inform you . ( you know there are people out there keep saying yes everything to earn money) I am telling you they are real professionals and trustworthy people. Again I thank Daria and Asema for their hardwork and kind welcomes read more

My first laser hair removal experience was NOT with Serene Max's Daria, and I was very unhappy with results - I was robbed and still very hairy! Since I've been coming to Daria, the results are amazing! I've never been so silky smooth before! Her experience and knowledge is at a highest level. I like how friendly and nice she is, makes me feel very comfortable. Even though she is very busy, she can be very accommodating with appointments. Daria uses the newest technology. The pain only lasts for a second as the laser targets the hair roots, and it's not even that painful (only in certain spots)... As long as you follow post-treatment instructions, your skin will look great - without any signs of laser treatment. I always recommend her to my friends and family, and they are all very happy as well. Great results, great professional service, great prices. ~Silky Smooth & Happy~ read more

The spa informed me that I would be a good candidate for the procedure based on my skin and skin regimen, and I decided to buy the Gilt City package. After the consultation and before the IPL, I was instructed to stop retin-a and other actives, which I followed precisely. Right after the session, I saw a darkening of my forehead, which got a little worse. Worried, I chatted with the therapist, who informed me that I should wait for four weeks. Fast forward through four weeks of a darkened and splotchy forehead, which foundation would not cover up, I went into the spa to speak with the doctor. Seeing my skin and after a few minutes of discussion, the doctor said he would refund my treatment. I was beyond happy about this, because even though it was a Gilt City, it was still a large expense where I wasn't happy with the results. I return to the reception area, where I am informed that I actually cannot get a refund because I bought the deal through a Gilt City. They pushed back at my request and told me that Gilt City takes 60% of the cost, and therefore I cannot be refunded any money (despite what the doctor had stated). Instead they said that my few minutes with the doctor was enough compensation for the adverse effects of the treatment. The doctor prescribed retin-a, which I have no need for because I was already using it before IPL. I left disappointed in how I was treated, broken down, and weary. I walked away saying that I did not see the point of arguing if they did try to understand where I, the customer, was coming from. If I wasn't a good candidate for IPL because of using retin-a, I should have been informed this. I am skincare fanatic and was very happy to find a spa right in my neighborhood, where I could develop a relationship with knowledgeable staff and improve my skincare needs. Unfortunately, this simple problem should have been handled with more respect and good customer service. My advice: save your money if you're considering a Gilt City deal. I should've just stuck with my retin-a and regular skincare regimen.
