This was his first time going to party hair salon and when he got home I saw his haircut I was very angry at how she did a terrible job. She has bad lighting and wasn't wearing her glasses because he got home with this horrible haircut, his hairline is all crooked and the back of his head is a lot of patches that have a lot of hair and other patches close to bald spots. It looks like this lady gave my husband a children's trim and a really bad one to say the list.

I do not speak Spanish and have never had any trouble, someone can always help if needed. The skill of Patty in particular and the other estilistas, also, is perfectly suited to my sensibilities. A haircut there looks great from the time you walk out and then for several weeks following if needed. Never looks like a fresh haircut and holds up well. Scissors and clippers cost the same, and the PRICE IS RIGHT! A hidden gem.

It had a contemporary, modern look and was very clean. I was greeted with a friendly "hello" from everyone in the salon and it was quite welcoming. I specifically asked for Latayvia and she ensured I was at a sink within a few minutes of my arrival. I left the salon with great smelling hair and my curl pattern looked gorgeous. My Experience- I want to preface my experience by saying: whenever you go someplace new for your hair, it's important to discuss what you like and how you like things done. The stylist can't read your mind and has to learn more about you. The person who washed my hair was very gentle. However, I like a vigorous wash, so I asked if she could dig a bit deeper. Latayvia overheard the conversation and decided to help the young lady. After listening to me, she proceeded to wash my hair the way I preferred. I really appreciated that she didn't insist on doing it her way and was open to hearing what I like. Latayvia maintained a cheerful attitude and made me feel relaxed. By "learning" me, I know that when I return, she'll know exactly how I want my hair done. I highly recommend True Elegance!

Such a great experience here!…read more I cut my hair myself a couple months ago and needed to get it shaped because I basically made my hair super uneven. I went to their website and it was really easy to navigate and set up an appointment. They have everything from makeup to natural hair care to sew-ins etc. My appt was for 10:30a and once I arrived I was seated right away! Latayvia is so sweet and her co-partner Yiasa was very friendly as well. I felt very welcome. My appointment was with Latayvia and she got my hair RIGHT! The wash was great and she was able to shape it to where my hair can grow back evenly. The salon is very clean, chic, and cozy and in s great (safe) location. Overall I had a great experience, and communication was wonderful with them. Would definitely go back again!

(Was called 10 Min before my appointment to say it'd be an hour longer and it was actually 2.5 hours wait) ; after having driven 30 min there! - only metered parking available - They assume your hair color selection instead of asking. The ultimate insult was I tipped the braider after she finished even after having to wait 2.5 hours longer than promised and having to remind her of the requested look (versus what she wanted to do instead- which required the others telling her to fix the first few braids), and she was EXTREMELY appreciative but one of the others quipped, it isn't even 20% in French. I can understand more in French so I can speak, so I QUICKLY responded to the commenter that, I was charged more than the price I was initially quoted even after waiting almost 3 hours so the difference in percentage was absorbed by both. Of course, they were shocked that I understood and pointed out the obvious. The one who said it, kept her head down and another said, your tip is appreciated because many people don't tip at all and you waited a really long time because the owner (my sister became sick and we were down a person).
