The first time I went in there she took a few minutes to evaluate my scalp & hair and in moments she said, well, I can't take off too much here, otherwise it will sick all over the place and will be hard to get it to lay down. BINGO... she got it. I've been to many barbers who just pull out the clippers and cut away and that one spot always ends up poking straight out for a week. But not here, she did a great job! Not to mention, she is a great conversationalist.... I don't like sitting in a barber chair while the person just goes round and round cutting away and not saying a word.

Geannine was my stylist, and this time I did want to go a little shorter (key word, little.) I brought in pictures so there was no doubt about how short. Instead, my hair was butchered. My hair is short, so if I walk out of a salon with a cut that's too short, it's really no big deal, it will grow. But when one's hair is butchered, and cut so short, almost like a clipper cut with scissors, that there is NOTHING that can be done with it, the only option is to wait for it to grow out, it's disheartening, maddening and money NOT well spent. Every time I started to question what she was doing, she basically shushed me and told me not to worry. Do you ladies even LOOK at the photos your clients bring in? Because I'm pretty sure she didn't see what she did to my hair in the photo I brought.

The reasons I gave them a 5 starts it's simply because they actually listen to what I want & how long or short I want my hair & specially my bangs, I have long hair & that's exactly how I want to keep it, before I would be freaking out going to get my trim but after finding this salon I actually not worry at all. My hair has actually grown faster since coming here, the last salon I went to gave me a really bad SHORT haircut & now am happy it's actually long again. After my good experience here I started bringing my kids, my son 3yr old & my daughter 5yrs old. I actually was amazed on how good my sons haircut was because usually in other places I have taken him, his cut was never been even, & here his cut it's actually how it supposed to be. After seen how good my sons cut was, my husband started going here as well. I really recommend trying this place out & ask for the owner for men's haircut.

Both owners were present at the time and I had Ron take care of me. He gave me just what I wanted and my hair has been growing in beautifully weeks after the cut. In a clean, no-frills shop, I was treated to the pleasant banter that makes a barber shop experience worth-while. I wasn't in much of a talkative mood at the time, yet I couldn't help but enter into conversation with Ron, Cindy and even the other customers. I learned that both owners grew up with parents who were barbers, so I could imagine that they have at least a few dozen combined years of experience with their craft. I don't remember the price of the cut, but it was very reasonable (under $15). This is a family-friendly environment and all in all, I'd highly recommend this place to anyone!
