    This place is amazing! I grew up riding horses but did not take many formal lessons. Before…read morestarting weekly lessons at WHF, I hadn't ridden in about 4 years. Ashley, the trainer, was extremely welcoming and patient as I got back into the swing of things. I tried several other barns in the area but the choice was very easy as none even came close to WHF. Ashley is very knowledgeable about riding and horses. She is not only able to correct my body position and cues but can also explain why it's important to have the correct position in that specific scenario. She knows a lot about the physiology of horses and how the rider's body position and cues affect the horse's body and movement. Her teaching style is excellent. WHF feels like a family and I have tons of fun and learn something new every time I ride here. The lesson horses are great and there are many to choose from. I do not ride the same horse every week and instead am able to work on different aspects of riding with different horses. Plus the farm is beautiful! Try one lesson here and you won't have to look at any other barns!

    These people are terrible... nasty and rude with an entitled attitude. So unfortunate as the…read moreproperty sits on a beautiful winding back road...be mindful of those 20 MPH corners though, which is still too fast in my completely novice and irrelevant opinion. I recommend you avoid these people at all costs, it will surely end with the most minor of inconvenience for you, may literally take minutes to recover from.
