When I made my appointment last year I was advised there was be a $50 consult fee however after my…read moreappointment they told me $150. So immediately they lied. A complete rip-off and not worth it. The doctor wasn't even that friendly or welcoming and she presented uncomfortable vibes. So no I wouldn't dare get surgery done here and would rather go elsewhere. Other than the lying about the consult fee my biggest issue is below. On March 15 and again on March 21, I made requests for my medical records. My interaction with Jennifer Castro regarding this matter was unsatisfactory. Transcarent, a company utilized by my employer, sought access to my medical records, prompting Jennifer to inquire whether I had granted permission for them to receive the records. Despite confirming my consent, Jennifer expressed her belief that it was unethical for Transcarent to make such requests, citing negative reviews of the company. Despite my insistence, Jennifer refused to release the records to Transcarent, insisting that they could only be sent to me. She requested a signed letter matching the signature on file before releasing them. After waiting for days without receiving the records, I followed up with Jennifer, only to discover that she had sent them to the wrong email address, displaying incompetence on her part. Additionally, her unprofessionalism, including criticism of my choice of surgeon and the quality of her company's services, was unwarranted. Despite her tenure, Jennifer's rude behavior warrants attention and resolution.

In 5th grade, a soccer ball hit my face and broke my nose. Specifically, the bone was broken and…read morethe cartilage was cracked. While I fortunately did not have any functional issues, there was a slight but clear deviation in my bridge (among other aesthetic concerns I had). I always knew I wanted to fix my nose, so years later, in my mid-twenties, I scheduled two consultations with prominent rhinoplasty surgeons in Dallas. My first consultation was with Dr. Rohrich, and my second consultation was with Dr. Cochran. While I liked Dr. Rohrich, I appreciated how detailed Dr. Cochran was during my hour-long 3D imaging morph. He was very nice, answered all my questions, and gave me realistic expectations. After the consultation, I knew I wanted to book with Dr. Cochran. Besides his pleasant disposition, I knew I wanted someone who was an EXPERT in RHINOPLASTY -- not a plastic surgeon who did breast augmentations, facelifts, rhinoplasties, and everything else all in the standard week. Rhinoplasty is the most difficult cosmetic procedure, so aesthetically, I wanted someone who knew how to match my ethnic features, and functionally, I wanted someone who knew how the nose worked so I wouldn't have any breathing issues or nasal valve collapse. As an ENT who exclusively does rhinoplasties, Dr. Cochran fits the bill perfectly. My surgery was 6 days ago, and I got my cast and sutures removed today. Even though I am still very swollen, I love everything about my new nose. It is so beautiful and, more importantly, functional! Dr. Cochran and his staff have wonderful bedside manner; Kassandra, his nurse, always responded to my (many) emails, and I frantically called Dr. Cochran not even 24 hours post-op at 5 AM because I accidentally hit my cast and he said to come in that morning so he could take a look. Luckily, everything was fine, and he even accurately predicted when my worst day of swelling would be. I know I have a year before all my swelling comes down, but it is already such an improvement. My nose used to be my biggest insecurity and now it looks so pretty. I highly recommend scheduling your rhinoplasty with Dr. Cochran!

Update - 6/10/2026, 9:46 AM…read more Amber followed up with me again and called in an oral antibiotic, which was my preferred treatment option. I am hopeful that once the infection begins to clear, the pain and discomfort will also improve. I am grateful that she took the time to listen to my concerns, follow up, and help address this issue. Small acts of care and communication can make a significant difference in a patient's experience, especially when they are in pain. Because of this follow-up and willingness to help, I have updated my rating from 2 stars to 3 stars. ------------------------------------------------- At 9:17 AM on 6/10/2026, I received a follow-up call from Amber regarding my appointment. During our conversation, I shared the same concerns I had previously expressed--that I had not yet experienced any relief from the gel that was placed in my ear canal during my visit. Amber was professional and explained that relief may take anywhere from 24 to 48 hours. My review is intended to be honest, transparent, and reflective of my real-life experience.I have only been back in Dallas for three weeks and am still getting established with healthcare providers in the area. Like any patient, I came seeking help, relief, and guidance. My sincere hope is to be happy, healed, and thriving, and I look forward to feeling better soon. ----------------------------------------------- I want to start by saying that Amber was very professional and helpful. She worked with me to get an appointment scheduled for the very next day, which I truly appreciated. The medical assistant who checked me in was also kind, professional, and even offered me Tylenol because she could see that I was in pain. Unfortunately, my experience after seeing the doctor left me feeling disappointed. I came in with a swollen ear canal and severe throbbing pain. The doctor asked a few questions, applied some gel in my ear, and the visit felt very quick. I left feeling much the same as I did when I arrived, with little understanding of the treatment plan and no immediate relief from my symptoms. My appointment was at 1:15 PM, and as I write this at 5:26 PM, I am still experiencing significant pain. My blood pressure was elevated during the visit, which is unusual for me, but I believe it was due to the level of discomfort I was experiencing. I chose this provider because of the excellent reviews, so I was hopeful that I would receive more relief and guidance. At this point, I feel discouraged and uncertain about whether I should return for my follow-up appointment or seek care from another provider. I also feel that the $84 visit did not provide the value or relief I was expecting. I appreciate the professionalism of the staff, but I hope future patients with acute pain receive a more thorough evaluation, clearer communication, and a treatment plan that helps address their symptoms more effectively. One additional consideration for patients is that there is no courtesy parking available in parking lot 3.
