I was indeed still spotting so I called the next day told them I called yesterday in regards to me spotting and they didnt have any records of me calling FIRST RED FLAG! They went ahead and scheduled me to get blood work drawn, I went got blood work done, never did I speak to Dr. Sullivan 2ND RED FLAG! I had to wait two days for my results and those two days I was filled with so much emotions. I got my results, this is my first pregnancy so I wasnt sure what my results were telling me. I called the office to ask if Dr. Sullivan could call me to go over my results with me, later on that day I receive a call from the front office and the person told me Dr. Sullivan said everything came out normal 3RD RED FLAG Dr. Sullivan didnt even take the time to speak with me and go over the results with me. Four day passes and I am still bleeding I called again to let my dr know what was going on and front office person scheduled me to go in again to get more blood work done, the phlebotomy tech couldnt find a vein and told me I had to come back and reschedule. At this point I was frustrated and wanted answers so I decide to go to the ER. I glad to say I am still currently pregnant and have found a new Dr. that actually cares for her patients! I get my CT scan and take it to the Orthopedic who says you need an MRI, I can't see your disc. Why did you get a CT scan instead of an MRI??? This has cost me hundreds of dollars and hours lost because this creepy fucking idiot is not qualified. I will be demanding reimbursement and to speak with upper management regarding the issue. I only see them when I have to. The ones I have seen do not have a good bedside manner. And interestingly enough, a few recent reviews on Google have mentioned not being able to get antibiotics when needed and that is the exact same thing that happened to me last time I had to see the PAs. I was terribly sick but because I didn't have the flu or Covid they wouldn't do anything for me except prescribe some cough meds (that were a waste of money and didn't help at all). It took more than one visit for me to eventually be given antibiotics and hey guess what, I finally started to get better after a few days on the antibiotics. The wait time is absolutely atrocious. I appreciate how much time Dr. G takes with me so I can only assume he does the same with everyone else. Perhaps the office should consider booking fewer patients for him each day. Although fewer appointments means less billing so I doubt that will ever happen. At the end of the day I will likely keep coming here until I am given a really good reason not to.

So now i wait and about 10 minutes later and lady with a heavy accent called me name. I stepped in and she pointed and said scale like I was a dog. After I got off the scale she turned her back to me and waved for me to come behind her. It gets worse because now I'm in the room and she takes my vitals and mumbles under her breath that all is OK. I said what are my numbers and she said OK. I said I didn't ask if its ok, I want my numbers. She called off the the numbers and I said thank you to her and she turned and just walked out. I have never seen anyone so rude and cold. I really enjoyed Dr. Ronald Giometti, but these two people need to take a course in how to talk to patients. I was so mad when I left the office because of the tone and actions of these two women. This was only the second visit with Dr. Giometti and I'm not sure if I will return. I was given the option of getting the SMILE procedure where both eyes…read morewould be equal even though I might require "readers" sooner or later or have the procedure of getting one eye set for far away and the other for near. I opted for SMILE because I didn't care if I needed readers eventually or even from day 1. For 49 years I've never been able to see far away, That's literally all I wanted. Combine that with the fact I'm left handed/dominate, I knew doing 1 eye far/1 close was simply not going to work. If that was my only option, I would have stayed with glasses/contacts. When I went through the exam and they dialed in what my eyes should be after the procedure, I could have cried. Not only could I see/read the bottom line of the chart, I could make out the lines around the letters. Both eyes. The best I've ever seen in my life. To be honest, they could have doubled the price and I would have figured out a way to pay for it. Now the bad. Every post-op exam they would ask what procedure was I having. I would say the SMILE procedure, which would illicit a pause until I would add, both eyes the same. I should have questioned things then but I did not. They are professionals and if their chart is different, they would ask or talk to the doctor, things would be clarified? Right? I guess not. Day of procedure, they put the drops in my eyes so I couldn't see and the person leading me to the op room asked what procedure I was having. I said SMILE, there was yet another pause (couldn't see it but could hear it) so I added, both eyes the same. Something was written on a tag and stuck to my shirt (ask for that BEFORE the drops so you know for sure they write the correct procedure). Because I didn't speak up, I take partial responsibility, hence 2 stars and not 1. The actual procedure was smooth, relaxing and I didn't feel a thing. Aside from my vision, the only drawback on the whole procedure was my massive dry eyes (not their fault at all as they said it could happen) and gall of the makers of xiidra for selling the most expensive liquid in the world ($700 for 30 small vials). That stuff burned my eyes like I was swimming in a massively chlorine dosed pool. I only used it for a few days before I went back to the regular drops. $700 wasted but nothing to do with the 2 stars. Every post-op exam, I would explain my left eye is seriously lagging and is it possible they didn't perform the SMILE procedure? It was always brushed off as "it's still healing and might catch up". At this point, my left eye (the one they made see close) feels heavy because it's fighting to be the dominate eye, my right/far vision eye isn't as clear as the pre-op exam. During my last exam, I explained the most unsettling part is when driving at night, I can't read street signs until I'm right up on the sign. I told them I really needed a glasses prescription because I can't live this way. They never admitted I didn't receive the SMILE procedure and was happy to give me a glasses prescription. Ultimately I was told because my left eye "didn't heal as they would liked", I was eligible to have that eye corrected for the discounted price of $999. In my mind, I was thinking, an extra grand to get the procedure I thought I was getting from the start? Why not just do what everyone agreed upon and raise the price a grand? Before the DR left the room, I knew I would be going elsewhere eventually and was starting to work out how long it would take me to pay for another procedure (I'm not rich and my eye insurances pays $0.00. My heath insurance did pay all but $60 of the most expensive liquid in the world, so that was nice). The reason why I decided to write a review, is the glasses prescription. I use that to buy glasses at 2 different online stores. One regular pair and 1 sunglasses. Both are off. Mind you, I've worn glasses/contacts my whole life and have ordered both off the internet since that was a thing. Glasses prescriptions are easy to enter. My vision in both is pretty good as long as I'm looking directly out of the middle of the lens or upward. Looking down/down left/right and not so great. If both glasses came from the same company, maybe their fault. Coming from 2 different companies and well... That is what has prompted this long review. I have since known a two people who had lasik after me, both asked about my experience and if I would recommend where I went. I told them the procedure is no big deal. As far as where to have it done, I don't know, let me know. I'll be going to one of their DR's to get my left eye fixed. Sad I'll miss that massive "discount" rate of an extra $999 but oh well.

And when I asked her to explain to my daughter what it is that she'd be looking for, she simply said, Oh, you are looking for cancer. My teen daughter was almost in tears by then. I was shocked. The stuff never told us that my daughter needs to be fasting because she is now 13 and they need to do bloodwork. So we had to come back the next day (more missed school and work!) There were 5 (five) people in front of us in the lab and after 30 min of wait they told me they can admit us in maybe another hour. Horrible! Will never come back.

Sadly, my older daughter is now an adult, about to start college overseas, and no longer falls under pediatrician care, but Dr. Leung has been in contact and supportive right to the end. There were a few things that happened that really upset me, mainly as a result of major communication errors on the office's part, but I don't think it would be appropriate to go into great detail here. That said, my overall review is this - if you're looking for a doctor who is not too busy and can see your child quickly, this is that place. However, you will be expected to do A LOT of research yourself as opposed to being provided resources by the doctor, you will not receive great patient portal access or timely feedback, there will probably be a few miscommunications, and you'll be asked to pay for full visits when you're just requesting very quick, over-the-phone reassurance that many other moms are receiving free-of-charge from their pediatricians. I could see this as being a perfectly fine place to take an older child, but I couldn't recommend it to other new moms.
