I have a love/hate relationship with Dr. G and his office. I love Dr. G, I really appreciate his thoroughness and attention to detail. He takes his time and never makes you feel rushed in your appointment. I've always had a great experience with the receptionist and front office staff. The PAs are another story. I only see them when I have to. The ones I have seen do not have a good bedside manner. And interestingly enough, a few recent reviews on Google have mentioned not being able to get antibiotics when needed and that is the exact same thing that happened to me last time I had to see the PAs. I was terribly sick but because I didn't have the flu or Covid they wouldn't do anything for me except prescribe some cough meds (that were a waste of money and didn't help at all). It took more than one visit for me to eventually be given antibiotics and hey guess what, I finally started to get better after a few days on the antibiotics. The wait time is absolutely atrocious. I appreciate how much time Dr. G takes with me so I can only assume he does the same with everyone else. Perhaps the office should consider booking fewer patients for him each day. Although fewer appointments means less billing so I doubt that will ever happen. At the end of the day I will likely keep coming here until I am given a really good reason not to. read more

I recently had an appointment with Dr. Giometti and my appointment was at 10:00 a.m. I messed up and thinking my appointment was at 10:30. I arrived at 10:20. I was told by the front desk that my appointment was at 10:00 and not 10:30 and I was late. The young girl said she would have to check to see if they could see me since I was late. There was no one else in the waiting room. She came back with a tone in her voice and said that they would see me this time!! I really didn't appreciate that tone in her voice. So now i wait and about 10 minutes later and lady with a heavy accent called me name. I stepped in and she pointed and said scale like I was a dog. After I got off the scale she turned her back to me and waved for me to come behind her. It gets worse because now I'm in the room and she takes my vitals and mumbles under her breath that all is OK. I said what are my numbers and she said OK. I said I didn't ask if its ok, I want my numbers. She called off the the numbers and I said thank you to her and she turned and just walked out. I have never seen anyone so rude and cold. I really enjoyed Dr. Ronald Giometti, but these two people need to take a course in how to talk to patients. I was so mad when I left the office because of the tone and actions of these two women. This was only the second visit with Dr. Giometti and I'm not sure if I will return. Its a shame that two employees can harm Dr Giometti business. Vicki Dooling Frisco, Texas read more

I have gone here now for a few years. I can't give them 5 stars as the wait time from when I check in is to long and they are sometimes slow at the process of getting you in. I get it sometimes we as patients do ask a lot questions at times so I can understand that on busy days they have, but on a quite day it shouldn't take super long at all. I would give the staff 50/50 as some are really nice and care and the other half seem to be having a bad day or just plain rude at times. Over all don't not go here over seeing bad reviews from someone having a bad 1 time here, try and see for yourself! read more

Dr. Giometti and his entire staff are a blessing from God! Dr. Giometti has been my primary physician since I moved to Texas for over 20 years ago, because I get the best care. Dr. Giometti takes time with his patients. He listens, and he explains everything. his PA and staff are the best. Thank you Dr. G! read more

I scheduled an appointment to get some immunization shots done prior to my trip. I arrived at about 1:20 for my 1:30 appointment. The receptionist was great--checked me in promptly, was friendly, and answered any questions I had. The waiting room was filled when I arrived. It is 2:17 and I've yet to see a doctor nor be notify what's the hold up. I'm the last patient waiting. I was finally seen by a nurse at 2:20. She did the usual height, weight, vitals, and then left me in the next waiting room for the doctor at about 2:25. Doctor came in about 5 minutes later. She was very thorough with her questioning, explaining, and answering questions. She was out the door by 2:40ish. I waited an hour to be seen for 15 minutes. I understand doctors spending necessary time to understand their patient and to build rapport, but that's why there are appointments. Either make those session longer to avoid unnecessary long wait, or follow the schedule. I was even courteous enough to arrive early to complete paperwork. My time should've been respected. read more

Horrible office staff. They scheduled my appointment wrong and was going to make me come back another day. And charged me for there mistake. Of course the office manger was not available. The ma didn't even care I had bags in my hand when I was being weighed or to let me rest my arm while having a blood pressure taken. My goodness I can't even imagine what this visit is going to make my health look like. Of course during my whole visit I got stared at with the stink eye. Like this is my fault they made a mistake. All because I questioned there policy. Wow way to take care of your patients people. read more

I've found Dr. Giometti and all the staff to be very kind and patient. As others have said, sometimes the wait time is a little longer than I'd like, but no more than most other doctor offices. But, when you go, you will understand why. Dr. Giometti takes time with his patients. He listens, and he explains. He answers any questions. He spends time with his patients. He is also very aware that not all patients have insurance so he carefully considers what tests are most important. I highly recommend Dr. Giometti. read more

I've been going to this practice for years now and I cannot recommend them enough. Sometimes the wait can be a bit but I know that's only because they are quite busy. Dr Giometti is one of the kindest people I know and he's always listened to me and taken my concerns seriously. I now live farther away but I keep going back because the Dr and nurses always make me feel comfortable. read more

Took my mom here for her first appointment a few months ago due to insurance change. Was scheduled for 3 PM, and by the time we got out, it was past 5 PM. The wait time here is beyond ridiculous it's downright rude. Can you imagine the lost wages the doc is costing his patients this way? I know he is running on a schedule but so is everybody else. His schedule isn't more important or valuable than the patients'. Do they not understand the patients' lives don't revolve around the doc's schedule? If you know you're booked until a certain time, why not book the next patient for that time instead of scheduling them for a time slot you know would be unrealistic? I know they knew this because the medical assistant unapologetically said that's just how it is done with every appointment everyday. Huh. She even added that even if you schedule for the very first appointment of the day, you still have to wait about an hour. Yeah, I couldn't believe my ears. The assistant was also incredibly unprofessional in her demeanor. She stormed into the exam room, didn't make eye contact or say hi, practically barked her sentences. Then she proceeded to inform us incorrectly that he was the only doctor in the area who accepts my mom's insurance. I don't know just where she got the confidence to proudly give out misinformation when it's obvious she hasn't once looked up the provider list for the insurance carrier. Such a terribly disorganized medical practice. The doctor himself seemed ok, but not phenomenal to the point where all this would be forgivable. read more

Terrible experience... stay away from this place! Very anti-male environment. Extremely intolerant and rude. I can see from the other reviews on here that this is their primary way of doing business. Staff was hostile acting as a buffer between patients receiving medical care and tried to extort payment up front despite my BCBS health plan. Tried to charge me $120 as A CO-PAY!!! Very unprofessional con artists, very insulting and condescending. Keep a doctor in business with a friendly staff who accepts health insurance and doesn't participate in these scams! read more

I came to Dr. G because he had good reviews and the office was within close distance. I was not disappointed! Dr. G's bedside manner is beyond any PCP I've ever had. I always leave my appointments with not only the confidence in treatment, but also wrapped in love by the entire staff. 5/5 recommend! read more

This place should be ashamed of themselves. My wife had a sinus infection called telladocs got antibiotics and it went away. Well it came back. My wife pays $115 to get told to take antihistamine, keeps cough syrup and a nasal spray. No antibiotics or steroids! We will never go back to this place and you shouldn't either read more

Great providers, wait times can be long, not always, but that seems to be the norm with healthcare. Easy to get in and out. Never had any problems with this office. Super easy to deal with. read more

Dr. Giometti, is the ABSOLUTE best! He always greets me with a big smile and listens to all of my concerns. He doesn't believe in just prescribing medications, just to get you in and out of his office. Sometimes the wait is a little long, but I'm okay with that because I like thorough doctors. His nurse his is a sweetheart as well. I'm glad that I became a patient at this office! They're all a great group of people!! read more

Dr Giometti is fine. The office staff is not professional enough, as can be seen in other reviews. They don't let you know that procedure will or will not be covered by insurance. Blood work was ordered and the blood was drawn in their office, and 1 month later I get a bill from a 3rd party lab. Basic office procedure is to advice : 1/the 3rd party will have a bill, 2/we did not check for you if your insurance approved blood work or not. None of this was done. When I called to ask, the office manager says you should do this and that, instead of accepting any type of responsibility or even assessing how bad the manner in which they perform their basic duties is. read more

Dr. Giometti is wonderful! He really works with you and is an awesome doctor! I've been going to him for years now. He doesn't make you come in when you don't have to just to take your money. That's why even though I moved to Houston, I still go to him when I'm in town. That's how awesome he is. He really works with you! I can't say that enough. read more

The doctor is great !! But the staff isn't to much , not real friendly all exasperated the window young lady she was very nice . All the other are rude not friendly don't talk to kinda stick up or maybe just rude. Didn't feel very comfortable or even I am another word all I know is they were very rude and I didn't even wanna meet the doctor but then when I'm at the doctor the doctor is great, and nice person. Listens and seems nice and concerned about our unique needs. So staff a zero star !! Oh and then let me and they called my prescription into the wrong pharmacy mind u not 5 hrs away They asked me if there was anyway I could go drive there and pick it up and I said no I'm not driving five hours to pick up a prescription that was supposed to call into Irving not Lubbock. I don't see why it's so hard for them just to call the pharmacy and make the right the right calls the right place for a prescription rude read more
