I also indulged in an Indian Head Massage which was amazing. Very relaxing, I get migraines and I found it helped with some tension in my neck. It's a great option if you don't have the time or budget for a full massage. Finally I had my eyebrows threaded, and she did a great job. Call to set up an appointment and when you arrive you have to knock first before you can open the door, its locked at all times. I dont mind this cause at least it's safe ‍ I didn't catch the name of the lady that did my brows but I think she was the owner, there was no one else there when I arrived and it wasnt lit very well. But over all I think the interior was beautifully decorated and very peaceful! The chairs that you "sit" in recline all the way back, which is so nice because I'm tall and I've always had to uncomfortably crunch myself down. They also sell some products like lash and brow serum and witch hazel. So my eyebrows are actually pretty full and naturally have a nice arch but because they're so blonde it's hard to tell. I came here because the last place I went to waxed my brows first THEN dyed them ‍ so needless to say too much was waxed off. The lady here did a phenomenal job at threading! She was quite but polite and did a thorough job! I've had my brows threaded before and it was good but this place is better now that I'm home and very carefully looked over my brows I dont feel the need to pluck anything which almost never happens! This is now going to be my only place that I will go to! She left them full and left my natural arch, but just beautifully cleaned them up!! My mom was also extremely happy with her microderm and my sister in law thrilled with her massage as well- she is a lab researcher and spends all day hunched over microscopes- and her therapist really worked out her knots in her shoulders and neck. I had never gotten anything other than my eyebrows/lip done before, and I was super-nervous. I had no idea who to go to in the Williamsburg area, and I had no idea how far in advance I should have called. After an internet search, Heather at Dolce Vita in Yorktown had positive review after positive review on Yelp. I called and the receptionist actually had me talk directly with Heather. Heather squeezed me in over two days so that I could get everything done before my wedding. That's the kind of person Heather is: she treats you like a friend right off the bat. What was supposed to be a one-time, special service for my wedding has turned into a 5-week ritual! If I lived in NN I would probably go in more frequently for my under-arms. She's that good. Heather is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet, and she is an excellent esthetician. Heather has always been gentle, but now that she has her own shop and has control over the products she uses, there is very little pain for any service--and I do know it when I say any service. Her prices actually got more affordable, and it takes less time to do my full-leg waxes, too! If my experience is any indication, it's clear that Heather cares about her clients and does her very best for them. If you're looking for comfort, reasonable prices, and experience look no further.

I received a call back and was inquiring about the facial services to better understand what they…read moreare since there were no description on the website. See attached photo. i have never been there before so I think it's only fair to ask questions such as how long is the facial etc. I must've triggered some sort of insecurity because she resorted to saying how long she's been doing this which didn't address my question. She became defensive and told me that I should go with whomever I typically go to. Funny thing is I never even said that I was interested in booking an appointment as I was just calling to inquire just like I did with other places in Williamsburg. With that type of customer service over the phone, I wouldn't even bother seeing how it would be like dealing with her in person. I even told her I'm from out of town and only going to Williamsburg for vacation. With that attitude I don't know how you would compete against other places. I rarely publish reviews but felt compelled to write one to help out other consumers who are contemplating whether to try this place out or not. I don't think this person should be in business if you don't know how to help customers. What makes certain businesses last longer than others is when they can provide an overall positive experience from start to end. You really should reassess if you're in the right service industry given its health/wellness-related. I support small facial salons because they tend to be more passionate about what they do and it shows in how they talk about their services. I've been getting facials all over as I travel on vacation almost every month and typically not the same place and I always get a facial or massage in places I've never been to as I like to come home relaxed - after all that's why people go on vacation. I'm not sure why this individual would feel the need to dictate what I do on my time and where I should go for my facial. Response to owner's comment: That is not accurate that I would ask if you would screw up my face. Why in the world would anyone ask that? That doesn't even make sense. I simply was asking what the difference was between the clarifying facial vs the pure results facial, what product you use and if you included extractions. The fact that you said: I'm not at the shop to remember my products" is concerning given how much experience you claim to have and how you say you customize it according to the individual. You couldn't even name one brand! I ask because I prefer organic products and because you couldn't tell me what product you use then what makes you think I would've booked with you to even reject me? My comment was that unlike massages where its likely can't rare to cause any permanent damage in comparison to facials. We only have one face and if someone messes it up due to the product they use or being too hard when doing extractions; this can be irreversible. I explained this was why I was asking questions so I can feel comfortable and understand what your services entail and what product you used, but I never accused you nor directed that towards you or ever questioned your experience. I was surprised she reacted the way she did. The fact that you are being defensive again and turning this around on me speaks the kind of person you are. If you read my review if I wanted to bash you I probably would have said: It's 2025 perhaps if you invested on designing a site that is professional and user friendly then people wouldn't have to call for clarification and ask questions. I should've not even bothered to inquire as soon as I saw how plain your site looked and on top of that it's not even secure. No one has provided a review on your business in Yelp since 2020! For someone who has over 20 years being an esthetician and to only have 3 testimonials on their website? If you are truly as good as you claim to be I would think you'd have more customers raving about you. Even If your facial was free I wouldn't bother going there. There are plenty of places in Williamsburg with owners who are kind and helpful. Perhaps you can learn from Karina from Ardent Skincare. I asked her the same questions I asked you on the same day but see the difference between how she responded to me versus how you did in my attached video. Notice how she didn't need to mention how long she's been an esthetician because it's irrelevant. Besides who would ever tell a potential customer that they suck? I truly hope people see my review. As you can see I've never posted one ever but this person is appalling and people deserve to know her true colors. By the way most business owners appreciate candid feedback. If you can't accept honest reviews then you shouldn't be on here. These are intended for customers to share to help others.
