The work permit was issued in April of 2023, but they did not finish the job until August of 2024. I've had an entire house built from the ground up in half the time. To top that off, the quality of the work was woefully subpar. Unbelievably horrible experience!

Beware of using this company Fleet Response formally know as the locally owned and loved family…read moreowned business Burkes which were bought out buy a large corporation from out of state. My Home owners sent a estimator to see damage mold had done to my kitchen and I wanted an all in one company that had a stellar reputation and local not a big franchise. I got caught up during the unfortunate Burkes family buyout. I checked their website out before hand and read the about us, talking about the business and also had all the employees names proudly displayed with all the great service they provided over the decades. That does not exist anymore and all the pics & reviews are old from the original owners interaction with satisfied customers. Around the first of July I had mold remediation done and my entire kitchen was gutted, my beautiful tile floors were jackhammered out, my stove, my dishwasher everything is gone only the upper cabinets remain. They do not communicate they promise to call never follow up or anything. It took over 2 months for them to submit their bill to my homeowners insurance for the outrageous price of over $6000 after I complained. I was promised a make shift kitchen sink for the interim to wash dishes, that never materialized as the months went by. I have been using my wash room down strains with the washer and dryer sink to hand wash our dishes and have them dry out on both washer and dryer with a towel to rest on. I then start making some progress and I now move on to having my kitchen finally being put back together and then telling me we cant match your kitchen lower island with the rest of the perfectly fine oak upper cabinets that was saved and covered up out of the way seriously! Well were experts and contractors we know how to talk with your insurance company and get more money. Who talks like that. I then say I want workers who can speak English so I can communicate with them if that may be the case, again your dealing with contractors and do not have your interest at heart. What's the big deal If I ask that question, it's my home and I control the budget. I had this experience down south so I am dealing with contractors who outsource out to the lowest bidder. Guess what! I hurt their woke sensitive feelings and they abandoned my family totally dropped our family in need and desperation so we can have our kitchen back, totally incredible, say I need to communicate with my doctor on open heart surgery (Kitchen) and cant communicate with me just only smiles at me. What would you do on breach of contract and lied to for months? What happened to the customer is always right huh. I reported these hustlers to my home owners insurance company and be forewarned. They don't care one bit about you only the money, there rotten to the core. The original Burkes would have never ever treated there customers like this period. This is the difference between family run and corporate run Look elsewhere do not use these clowns as they are like Kryptonite to superman.

The team was responsive, professional, and easy to work with throughout the process. The craftsmanship was exceptional -- from perfectly aligned seams to a flawless waterfall edge and apron sink detail. The quality, precision, and overall care put into the installation truly exceeded our expectations. We're thrilled with the results and highly recommend this company for anyone looking for beautiful, well-executed stonework.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Northwest Granite has been extremely…read moredisappointing from start to finish. Communication was awful at every level. Any time I raised concerns with the project managers, they were quick to blame me for delays and became defensive and aggressive instead of listening. At no point did anyone take ownership of the issues I was experiencing--I felt constantly questioned, doubted, and talked down to. The demolition crew that removed my old countertops was careless and unprofessional. They never put down any protection on my brand-new floors, and while breaking apart the old stone they crushed pieces of countertop into the flooring, damaging several areas. They also punched a hole in a wall I had just repaired and said nothing--no acknowledgment, no apology, just left it for me to find later. On top of that, they left sharp broken pieces of stone inside the cabinets, on the floors, in adjoining rooms, and even in the driveway. It felt like a rushed job with zero regard for housekeeping, safety, or respect for my home. When it came time to measure for the new countertop, they incorrectly measured the area next to the refrigerator. The new top was cut too wide and is now pushing the cabinet panel out, leaving about a 1/4" gap. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, they tried to blame me--saying it was already like that or that the cabinet panel was warped--and spoke to me as if I couldn't see the obvious issue. I waited weeks to hear what the next steps would be, but no one followed up. I always had to call or show up in person to get any kind of response from project managers or sales. The finished product is also poor quality. The seam is bad enough that I can catch a fingernail on it, and the edge looks rough and under-polished. Overall, this feels like a "fast and cheap" operation geared toward large apartment jobs or quick flips--not homeowners who care about quality and detail. If you value craftsmanship, clear communication, and simply getting what you paid for without having to fight for it, I would strongly recommend going elsewhere. I regret giving them my business, and by the end I was just willing to accept whatever got me out of dealing with them any longer. I would not recommend Northwest Granite to anyone.

Very friendly and agreeable to get your business (and the first installment from the credit union), then sat and did nothing for 6 months even though the cabin was promised delivery by Mother's Day 2021. When the $10K cash deposit was made in October 2020, the company had about 10 workers in the yard. By the time the owner actually decided to start moving on our cabin, he was down to less than 4 workers. He is a rude, arrogant and unbearable boss as we witnessed how he spoke to several of his employees who rightfully quit their jobs. At the end of a long 12 months of waiting, and having made many, many concessions on items agreed to at the time of design (the owner will put nothing in writing) the cabin was finally delivered. The cabin is just OK. The last demand of not releasing the cabin until final payment was received from the credit union was rejected by our insurance carrier and rightfully so. They are plenty of other reputable cabin builders in the Spirit Lake ID area that are no doubt 100% more friendly and customer service oriented to deal with. You will get what you paid for A LOT SOONER, not be spoken to by the owner as some kind of nuisance and you will have a better experience getting a portable cedar cabin built! And yes, Tina K is correct - their site is a D U M P.

The only reason I'm not giving this a one star review is because ultimately we got the products…read more It took the National Customer Care person to facilitate it. We found LVP flooring that we wanted, it was in stock. The total was approximately $4500. Our flooring installer was to pick it up. Since we lived out of town and was doing this remotely, I wanted to put it on Amex. The (snotty) local "sales" guy (J?) said I could only make a down payment with the remainder being paid *in person*. Remember, we lived across the state and this work was being done in preparation for us moving into a new home the following month. I said that wouldn't work. He AGREED, happily. When I told our flooring contractor about it, he was incredulous. 28 years in the business and he had never heard of a customer not being able to pay in full. He called the LL corporate headquarters in Virginia and I was able to pay in full. However, when the guys went to pick the materials up they were told they needed to come back later. They could *see* the order. More BS. And another intervention by Val at corporate. They were able to get the material but it had been ** dumped ** behind their truck. As I'm reading this, it's hard to believe. We will NEVER do business there again. Oh, and the day after we got the flooring, they reduced the price in their supply. The Spokane sales guy must be a relative of the owner to be allowed to get away with this terrible treatment of customers.

I had 2 other people with me as witnesses, when I spoke to an employee, stating that I am doing a job that will take up to a year to do, and, would I be able to return any unused laminate if need be. I was told yes, as long as I had the receipt. Speed up to June 2020, I drive 2 1/2 hours to the Spokane Valley store, where I purchased the flooring. Mind you, this is AFTER the virus shutdown and all the other stuff going on in this world. I show up, to return the unused boxes and underlayment. I was told that I could not return them because it was past the 90 days, and, that particular flooring was now obsolete. I explained to him what was said by his employee, and that I drove 2 1/2 hours to return it. He did not care. Now, reminding you, we were all in shut down by the 90 days. They did not care. I asked him how was I to know that the flooring I choose, we now obsolete? He said that I wouldn't have known. So why is it that I have to pay the price for that? And, why do I have to pay the price for having left overs, when I asked the employee if I could return it within a year? How can a company not stand by there employees words? I am extremely disappointed and will never shop ever, at any of these stores. I really did not like the way the flooring was made and how it clicked together. It was poorly made. But, I got what I paid for. If you ever ask for something more than the store is willing to do, if you know, put it in writing! I sure wish I had! But either way, know this store will NOT stand by whatever its employees say. I really hope this store will close down. I do not see how it could stay open with customer service like this. Especially in todays world where this are not normal. Business are closing right and left. I would expect better from this company.
