I went to this Sephora location today and now I'm regretting it. First and foremost, I was not greeted when I entered the store. I needed assistance from a worker, so I started looking for one. This lady said she'd be right with me and then walked away. She never returned to assist me, so I went looking for another employee. She immediately answered and moved away after I asked her a question regarding an item I was looking for. On top of everything they were sold out of both of the items I needed. So I then went to the Irvine location which is MUCH better, they know how to treat a customer. I recommend going to the Irvine location instead. read more

I just got my prom makeup done here and it was WONDERFUL!!!!! My artist (I think her name was Haley?) WAS AMAZING!! She listened to everything I said and did everything I asked of her, and I had a lot of requests. I wanted to look snatched for prom and I looked so great afterwards, I could hardly recognize myself. I was able to request any product in the store, and I ended up with the most gorgeous makeover. My eyeshadow blend was flawless. And it lasted all night. It did take a little longer than expected, but I think that's because I asked for a bit of a complicated look. It was definitely worth it! I'll be back here if I ever need anything. Marie Lou was phenomenal. She was very kind, patient, and knowledgeable in makeup. Marie Lou helped match my skin to several options of foundation and we tried them. I was so happy with the match and composition of the foundation felt great on my face. In addition, Marie Lou, set me up really well with concealer, primer, blush, lipstick, etc. She went beyond and I am very pleased with her services and will be back. The nice thing about this location is that it does not get pack compared to mall locations. The size of the store is the same as any other with the usual setup of makeup on one side and skincare on the other. The makeup selection is clean and organize. The testers and displays are cleaned well with no leftover gunk on the items. They wipe the display area constantly and there are no tissues left behind from previous customers. The sponges and alcohol bottles are always full which is great as you do not have to constantly ask workers for tools to try stuff on. Looking at the inventory they have the usual name brands, but they do not carry some of the special editions I have seen in mall locations or maybe they sell quickly before my visits. If there is a particular special edition that you are looking for I suggest calling them first and checking before they sell out. The makeup displays are on the right sections with the right description under the items along with the prices clearly displayed. They keep the store (especially the shelves) organize throughout the day. When the checkout lines gets backed up they apologize and tells customers they'll be with us as quickly as possible. They do not ignore the long lines and they acknowledge that it is taking long and they make sure to let us know. Most of the workers that have helped me are friendly and informative about the products I am interested in. This might be a better location to get your makeup done instead of a mall location because it is not as busy and you will more likely have a worker assists you right away. This location is not inside a mall so it is a quick in and out trip if you just need one item. The parking is easy as this is in an outdoor mall there is even parking right outside the store when you visit in the early hours, or right when they open. read more

Come in. Get what you need. Leave. I am not a Sephora kind of person, but I do come in to buy one thing and one thing only, so it's easy for me to just dodge the insanity and escape in minimal time. This location is small but has what I think you need. Then again, I don't really wear make up so I probably shouldn't even write this at all. Employees are friendly enough though it's kind of a split between very friendly workers and very bored workers. At any rate, it's a Sephora and it's in a huge shopping center so if you're around running errands and realize you need more supplies to paint your face, then this store will be here for you. I feel like Sephora is a hit or miss...you either go to a location that you had great service in and really like, or total opposite. So, for me, this was a Sephora with great service. I went early in the AM during the week, so they weren't busy. Everyone was very friendly, and helpful. I did need help getting color matched for a foundation, so I was promptly helped. We came to Sephora wanting specific perfumes after Ulta let us down no biggie as soon as we arrived we went to the fragrance station and an employee attended us with pink hair but had a stank ass face and attitude because I wanted test strips . Angel took over and was the bubbliest and sweetest we let her know we were looking for specific perfumes but they we're out of stock so she offered to change it up and we explained to her what we were looking for and what kind of scents we like automatically she knew exactly what to show us and got our Fragrance spot on so ofcourse we had to buy it ! I've never been so mistreated in a Sephora before but apparently this location still needs to work through their employees. I had just gotten off a flight where my roommate came to pick me up, on the way home she let me know she had to quickly stop by Sephora which is our second home let's be real. We walked in and not only was I profiled (which has never happened in a Sephora before) but when asking for help they were extremely rude and unhelpful. I had 3 employees follow me (hover over me without a word) throughout the store which made my roommate and I extremely uncomfortable. In addition every time I asked about an item they were out of stock. I finally settled on buying a red lipstick for work, the manager opened a new register for me (which she closed right away when I paid) and rudely suggested I used my points for the only moisturizer they had left. I just smiled and politely declined. I think the worst part is that the lipstick I bought was broken before I could even use it. YESS!!! no longer do i have to drive to south coast plaza to get my sephora fix!!! i have come here for the pre-grand opening, grand opening, and a regular day and i have experienced nothing less than great customer service. every encounter have had someone greet me at the door with a smile and/or while shopping being asked if i have been helped. from the door greeters to the ones working the register i have been left with nothing but happiness. this store is definitely cleaner and not as busy as south coast so i will definitely come here more often. also large parking lot but i would avoid going around dinner time since there restaurants nearby usually take up most of the spots. read more

Went on 6/22 THE DAY OF THEIR GRAND OPENING. Wasn't busy, the store was fully stocked & clean. Employees everywhere but NOT ONE greeted me, I was walking around looking at products, passed by a few employees and still no one assisted me or even said hi. I had a smile on my face just to see if I would catch anyone's eye. Nope, nothing. Shrug* It's fine, I'll stick going to the Sephora at South Coast Plaza. At least the employees there greet you when you come into the store & if you even look in their direction, they come right to you & help you if needed. Specifically Milo, Lena and Kim I like to call them the dream team. If I could give this zero stars I would. I have never been more disgusted with a retail staff. They were unbelievably disrespectful to my father. They treated him like a thief when he had just spent $300. They are rude and don't know how to treat people. Terrible customer service. I will never come back here again. They are so disorganized, what's the point of doing an online order pick up if I'm still going to wait in line with people that are going into store??? *correction: they didn't even go into the store they literally waited in line, told what they wanted to an employee as they went an grabbed each item and literally did this one by one for each person in line. This is beyond a shit system. It literally took 15 per customer. I ordered pick up and I might have as well waited to just do what everyone else who was in line did because that's exactly how long it took regardless of doing it ahead of time. This is my go-to Sephora store because of the convenience of getting in and out without having to visit a mall. I'm always greeted by several staff and asked if I need assistance, but they are respectful if I don't need any. They are also helpful in answering my questions and giving recommendations when I ask for them. I've had the full face beauty services here as well and Grace does a phenomenal job! She is really skilled and I love that she asks what I like or don't like throughout the process to make sure I'm satisfied with the end results. She really tailors each look to what I'm asking for and has introduced me to some amazing products. I was really surprised to see some of the negative reviews for this location because I've always had positive experiences and always look forward to shopping here. read more

This evening after work I decided to visit Sephora to look for a new foundation. Lately I noticed that after a couple of hours my make up looks oily and my face looked kind of orange. So I decided not to wear any make up until I found a new foundation. During my visit I was greeted by two really nice associates and told them what I needed and they introduced me to Beauty to assist me. I am a darker skin African American woman and I struggle with finding foundations that match my skin tone without it leaving me looking ashy, or orange. Beauty, was there help! She took her time telling me about different products and trying them on my face and walked around the store trying different brands until I felt comfortable. I was bummed that Rihanna's Fenty didn't match my shade and we tried three but nevertheless Beauty introduced me to a new product. We tied some colors from Cover FX and it was great fit! I couldn't have been happier to be honest and she recommended a great primer from Make Up Forever. I figured since we were getting my foundation together we'd talk about brows. Beauty showed me how to do my brows using the Anastasia brow pomade and taught me some tricks. I was really excited because I've watched so many videos and still ended up with my brows looking like cousins more than twins. I ended up buying every single product she introduced to me and more! I've been to multiple Sephora's and Ulta's and never in my life has an associate really taken the time to help me find foundation. I've walked out of stores frustrated and sad to be honest or felt I was being rushed. I'm happy to say I didn't feel that way today! The whole team at Sephora today was great from the two ladies that greeted me when I walked in, to my experience with Beauty. Even the lady (with the pink hair) that rung me up, her and I had a fun conversation. I say lady with the pink hair because she stands out and she was really nice, she actually greeted me at the front door. Anyways, to wrap this up. This was a great visit and for once I didn't mind spending over $100 for beauty products. I can't wait to try on all the goodies that I have bought today thanks to Beauty! If you're ever at the Tustin Market Place you should stop by; the ladies there are really nice, patient, professional and genuine and if Beauty's there ask for her! I'm honestly so happy that there's a Sephora closer to me now! I honestly hated driving all the way to South Coast Plaza just to buy something from Sephora. This location is a bit smaller than the South Coast Plaza location but it definitely looked more stocked and cleaner than other locations that I've been to. Employees were constantly asking if I needed help and I really appreciated that because I've been to locations where I actually needed help and employees were nowhere to be found or were too busy to help out. When I was being helped out, I asked a few questions and was also given plenty of recommendations. The only downside to this location is that they don't seem to carry YSL, Giorgio Armani and a few other brands that other locations carry. read more

First of all, I can't tell you HOW PSYCHED I was to find out there is a Sephora within WALKING DISTANCE of my house. That means: getting steps in on my FitBit while indulging in buying new make up goodies whenever. I. Want! I'm a fan of efficiency. Ok, aside from my personal preferences being awarded (finally), I was even more ecstatic of how nice and helpful the staff here were. I last went because I wanted to get my paws on a Huda foundation and to my initial disappointment, they were all out. BUT! Not all was lost, because the girl that helped me was really sweet in offering to give me a mini sample size to take home to hold me over until I got my order in the mail. I didn't even know they do that! THEN, to make a great day even brighter, the girl at the register said the nicest thing any girl loves to hear in a cosmetics store: "Save your points, let me give you a bunch of samples" . Went in to check out the color of Fenty foundations. Because of Covid, you cannot test any of the products but they are more than helpful on giving tips and showing you the colors on a clear plastic palette. I called and talked to Grace, then the store manager and she told me that there were 9-13 people allowed in the store at one time. I counted 3 people and I stood in line for 15 minutes watching 4 people leave and no one admitted inside the store. There were many employees walking around doing nothing as there were no customers to help. The manager of this store doesn't understand that revenue equals jobs and I watched 2 people leave as they were waiting in a line that never moved. read more

We walked into Sephora this morning and were greeted by Analuisa. I told her that we need foundation and maybe some guidance for my daughter's eye makeup for her dance recital TODAY!! ALEENE a Color Artist The downside is I bought a set of skin care that was priced at the original 28% not having the discount plus the additional 25% off so I just called the store about 10 minutes ago and returning to the store to get my refund but it's OK because I might spend it anyway :-) ALEENe a Color Artist was the one whom first greeted me at the door I was kind and awesome. She began my shopping with a a great start. Showing Finessin scale with her customer service ability as well as the ability to listen to the radio walkie-talkie thing , on her ear ,and communicate well with the customer service. Her friendliness and ability to use the radio and still hold a conversation with me, the customer, was great. She was never rude when needing to reply to someone on the radio. She was awesome. Justine senior skin care advisor was kind and very enjoyable to speak with. I learned a few new things from her. And she also was extremely transparently relatable yet remained business professional. Corporate would benefit from her exampl as she commutes and I learned this in my just chatting with her. Absolutely nothing negative and very very versed in customers products and was also the one whom impressed me. She knew about the differences of the ebropeab and American skin care market law and the ingredients. Which was my seal the deal moment. I am returning for sure. No more ultra where I feel just "judged" as I'd gone to the beaut store dressed for pajama time and made felt embarrassed. Not at Sephora. I was welcomed and happy and am now a converted ultra customer. This expietence has changed. This is a RACIST ESTABLISHMENT!!!! I was verbally assaulted by the manager ANGEL just yesterday for not wearing a mask she approved of. I was wearing a special PPE FDA approved full shield mask given to me from my Dr. and explained that to her, yet she refused to serve me. This political climate is out of control!!! I have been a loyal customer for over 10 years and refuse to be bullied by this ignorance from your staff... I was overly compliant!...this had nothing to do with the mask, yet it did have to do with the color of my skin!!! Hateful rhetoric in full form!!.... Unacceptable! Just went to their pre-grand opening! Everyone was super helpful and pretty knowledgeable. The store is a tad smaller than the ones I've been to but they seem to carry most of what you'd need. There's plenty of free parking and it's easy to find in the center so I'll definitely be back when I need stuff... better than going to the mall. read more

Got to this location just in time for my appointment at noontime. I waited for 5 minutes (which to me wasn't bad compared to some doctors/DMV appointments I had in the past. I was just wondering if the beauty specialist that was supposedly to assist me decided to take her break before and not after my appointment...Though i like the personality of the beauty consultant that assisted me however, she adjusted the lighting only after she was done applying the foundation which is normally done prior to any makeup application. She probably was not expecting to have a client right then and there. Nevertheless, I like Sephora wherever it may be. read more

If you like to be followed your whole experience here, then you're more than welcome to come! You can specifically ask for the manager Kim, as she will hunt you down to bother you every 2 minutes. Store fully staffed today only to peer from gandolas away as they will speak in the headsets "discreetly" every time you pick something up. As if there isn't LP staff watching cameras...
