    The store

Today I stopped in Sephora on 86th St and Lexington. I was looking for a product someone recommend ito me by Fenty beauty. Given that I was going to buy a new item I had questions However my experience was horrible No one greeted me and asked if I need help at all I was I the store for a good 15mins and had no help but what did happen was that the staff had all eyes on as if I was not welcome or was going to steat something. One staff male did come a say hello to put an item back on the shelf where I was testing products never asked to see if I needed assistance. Needed to say I did not buy the item I can for due to the unwelcome experiene I had. This reminded me why I shop online and Amazon. I will never shop at this store or any sephora again. I never been in a store that have mad me feel I welcomed I don't know if it was because I was a man or what but wow.

The last experience was a much inviting experience. The staff was more available and the cashier ringing me up was very nice. The makeup area was being cleaned when I arrived and the beauty advisor/artist in that workspace was attentive and asked if I needed any help. I think it's fair to give an update when it's due. Sephora is a "go to" when it comes to my fragrances and also one of my favorite cosmetics retailers. I got everything I needed for the holidays and I used my 20% off (Beauty Insiders.) The displays were my favorite part of the visit. I had an opportunity to smell some of the new fragrances that have been advertised on social media throughout the fall, and I picked up a few stocking stuffers.

My daughter and I have never had other than a pleasant experience in this location. Free WiFi and gifts if you are a reward member like my daughter. I recently was informed they have a section for men's cologne. My daughter was exploring with her date! Sales representatives are polite and helpful. I would beware of testers for lipstick or other face products. There was a segment recently on the news. You don't know who has what disease when you use the tester. My mother taught me to take the lipstick and dab a little on the back of my hand. So my advice is purchase wisely, join rewards clubs, and be mindful of possible areas where you may become infected!!

Definitely not a pro when it comes to makeup but this location is the one I tend to visit the most since its so close to my job. I wish the staff was a bit friendlier and a bit more helpful. Some of the girls are great but a lot of them are just rude and not very helpful. This location can get extremely packed as there are a few other stores near by ( ULTA is opening soon, so they'll definitely be in competition) so try to go early and not during rush hour or you'll be on the line for quite a long time

I walked into a space that covers a lot of ground, from snacks and drinks to beauty products, home goods, and collectibles, and the density of what is on display makes it easy to spend more time browsing than I planned. The snack selection is the strongest draw and covers an impressive range. I saw Asian versions of familiar American snacks sitting alongside Japanese and Korean originals, and the drink section downstairs is broad enough that finding something I have not tried before is a near certainty. The variety of drinks, many with anime or character branding, reflects a buying approach that goes beyond the standard convenience store selection. The beauty and skincare section upstairs is well stocked with Korean and Japanese brands that are not widely available at American drugstores. I browsed through everything from face wash to sheet masks and specialty treatments, and the prices are competitive for imported products of this type. Blind boxes occupy their own significant section, and the selection across different series is one of the better in the city, with reasonable pricing relative to what the same items cost at specialty toy stores. Home goods, toys, collectibles, and kawaii accessories fill the remaining floor space. For a one stop shop for Korean and Japanese lifestyle goods, snacks, and beauty products in Koreatown, TESO Life delivers a broad and browsable experience that rewards repeat visits.

Right after they charged me, the order was canceled with the excuse that I had requested the cancellation, which is absolutely false. I never canceled anything. Since then, my money has been in dispute because: The company does not respond to emails. They only send automated messages saying someone will get in touch with me, but no one ever does. Meanwhile, MELIO claims that they already sent the money to the seller and is now asking me to either pay again or provide my card number so they can try to charge me again. Absolutely not! This is robbery. I should not have to lose my money like this. And who is going to compensate me for the damage? This situation is unacceptable. I walked into a store that is essentially one large room, and the density of product on display meant navigating it during a busy period required some patience, but the selection within that compact space was broader than the size suggested. The Korean literature section covers both Korean language and English language editions across a range of genres, which makes it genuinely useful for anyone studying the language or looking for titles that are difficult to find at general bookstores in the city. I saw children's books in Korean, well stocked. The K pop side of the store covers albums, photocards, posters, keychains, stickers, and merchandise across a wide range of artists, with BTS having a particularly strong presence historically alongside newer groups. Pricing runs higher than what I would pay ordering online or finding the same items at a larger retailer, which is the standard trade off for a specialty shop in Manhattan. Album prices in particular can be steep, though sale events bring them down to more competitive territory. Individual accessory items like stickers and bookmarks are priced at a premium relative to their size, so going in with a sense of what I am willing to spend helps avoid sticker shock at the register. The store is a reliable stop for anyone looking for Korean books or K pop merchandise in a physical retail setting in New York, with the caveat that the pricing and the crowd level are both factors worth knowing about before I go.
