I really like this Sephora. I get my brows waxed here and sometimes restock on my supplies, as opposed to online. The staff is very friendly, attentive but non pushy, which I always appreciate in a business. I also like the attentiveness to the sanitary norms during the cosmetic procedures (like no double dipping during waxing), which you can usually see only at Sephora or very expensive beauty salons. I've actually grown anxious having to run to this Sephora when I need something last minute because everyone who works here is rude, off putting and not willing to help. I asked for color matching and basically had to beg the lady "helping" me to try other colors since the one she put on was too pale / wrong undertones. She just didn't care. Terrible experience at Sephora as a company, more than the specific location. I have always purchased my makeup from Sephora for ease of access, as they carry all brands in one place. But when it comes to complaints, it's no longer Sephora's problem--it becomes the individual companies' responsibility for their products. I visited this location multiple times to find a specific lipstick shade. The advisors made me try a few testers to check the shade from almost all brands. Inside the store, the advisors handed me testers as they ran around to find shades from different brands, and I trusted them to sanitize the products. I ended up buying the ones I liked that night. Later, I noticed my lips feeling extra dry, so I applied lip balm. Over the next few days, I used both new lipsticks I purchased, but my lips kept getting drier and started peeling. I experienced constant tingling, dryness, chapped, peeling lips, and the skin around my mouth was also affected. I contacted the store, corporate office, and customer service through phone calls, live chat, and emails. However, no one helped or seemed to care. They blamed it on me, suggesting it was my fault as the customer and claimed Sephora was not responsible for individual reactions. I take allergy tests every year and don't have allergies to specific chemicals. They even tried to blame the brand of the lipstick, despite the fact that I also tried Sephora-brand lipsticks. They didn't offer any assistance. I also posted about my experience on their forum. While I understand it would be my responsibility if I had tried the testers directly without sanitizing, I had two advisors helping me that day. All they are telling me is that they will advise their staff to sanitize going forward and that i can return the products under 30 days. Shame on the company! I am visiting the doctor soon to get this checked. I would rather buy the products individually going forward as they might take more accountability and actually help. read more

I went in to 'look' at lipsticks. I am always a bit intimidated by these stores, but tonight was the game changer! A young man called Mas greeted me, then helped me choose the perfect shade and consistency of lipstick. I chose two!!! He was helpful, non-judgy, knowledgeable, cheery, and honest. Because of Mas, I will feel more confident walking into a Sephora now. I love the Givenchy perfecto balms I bought. He also gifted me a shampoo and conditioner sample. This is the worst Sephora I've been to. Very unaccommodating! Tried to return two foundations that don't match and wanted to either get a refund, store credit or exchange for a better match if possible. The cashier was nice at first because of course they're sales and completely got turned off when I told her my situation. When I asked if I could speak to the manager to simply ask if anything else can be done, she rolled her eyes with disgust. I was able to do this for a previous purchase at a different location so I wasn't trying to be a pushy or annoying customer. The manager was unable to assist and not friendly. Definitely not giving Sephora any further coins moving forward. Will remain loyal to Ulta and buy directly from the brands or other retailers/dept stores moving forward. read more

Went here for their opening today! Two ladies at the door would only offer wristbands to 'select' customers. When I asked the lady who was giving and offering champagne to everyone except myself, she says' oh you dont have a wrist band! - in a condescending tone. This location is not it. Go elsewhere. I have a foundation that continues to get stuck, a $50 foundation. I went in to return it, and the lady at the front insisted that her coworker use pliers to fix the top of my foundation. She told me it was my fault the top kept getting stuck, which was so bizarre because why would I try to ruin my own foundation. She wouldn't allow me to return, and instead grabbed the coworker and told him to get the pliers. I thought that was kind of unsanitary and not very professional. They wasted product from the foundation and used the (hopefully) clean pliers. Now here I am a month later, and after the 60 days return point and the foundation is stuck yet again. I have no options now, and I'm frustrated. Don't go to this location I learned the hard way. read more

Unfortunately, I had a very lack luster visit to this Sephora location. The staff didn't seem very eager to help at all. I asked one employee about a Drunk Elephant gift set that I saw on the website, she told me that all they had were the ones at the top of the display. I later found that this was untrue, when I entered the checkout line and saw the exact set that I was looking for. Then, the cashier almost seemed displeased to do his job. He was not very welcoming. When he told me my total, I asked him about the 10% discount for signing up for texts from Sephora. He acted like he did not know what I was talking about! I showed him the flyer on the website then proceeded to show him the text I had received saying that my 10% discount could now be used. He started swiping at my phone to see more, to which I gladly told him that I would show him the entire text message thread if that's what he needed. Then he reluctantly told me that he would give me the discount. I wish I could give this place a -5 stars. This store has tried to steal over $300 from me. Booked 3 appointments on 11/5 that myself and friends attended. First, they charged me $120 in "cancellation fees" even though we all showed up. Every week since they charge me $30 for "missing" and appointment we attended for a glam up and paid much more in tip and items purchased. I have had to call 3 times as every week I get an email notifying me I missed an appointment that I didn't. Who steals money from their clients?! Buy from the source, this place is trash. Jill was extremely helpful in teaching me about the primers, foundation, pressed powders and etc. when I decided I wanted to opt in for a "dewy" look, because I always feel like it's a fake matte on my face.. she found the perfect foundation AND shade the first try. I really trusted her judgement and when I'm back, I'll look for her! When you arrive ask for Jill. She's the best! Other than that the store is a little small. If you want to get followed around the store, watched over the entire time, and walk into a store where nothing is ever in stock, come here. We walked in on a Friday afternoon and were made so uncomfortable by the employees. Had horrible customer service and a negative attitude about them. Was looking for a bronzer that day and it was like pulling teeth trying to get them to help me. They had no problem though following me and my sister around to ensure we felt extremely uncomfortable. Every single time I come here a sales person talks my ear off and tries to get me to buy something other than what I came in for. It's so irritating - all I want to do is leave. I would probably buy more stuff if they would just let me look without telling me to buy a whole bunch of crap. If I want a specific powder foundation, they show me a different powder foundation. I like sephora products but I had a very poor experience. When looking at different options, only the most expensive products were recommended after saying I was wanting to look at more budget friendly options. I also finished checking out and realized I forgot to use my 15% off coupon I had saved (I am a VIB member) and asked if I could have a price adjustment, which they said no. I spent $300, so the 15% would have saved me around $45. Very poor customer service. I will be recommending people to go elsewhere. read more

Another thing that really stood out to me is that Danielle took her time with me and allowed me to ask as many irrelevant and repetitive questions i needed LOL. Danielle is truly a gem! I walked in early one day and was in line behind two white females. Just like any other typical retail line. However, when I got to the register the retail associate did not interact with me in the same friendly, chatty mood as the other two in front of me. He cut me off from making a comment and preceded to pitch the Sephora credit card. I found this odd as he had not done so to the two before me. Not sure if having a male with some melanin changed his perception but I left feeling different.
