I tend to seek them out in this location whenever I need to replace an item. I even had them booked to do the makeup for my wedding several years ago but they messed up the booking and that is another story. Today's experience was exceptional and why I continue to visit this location. After an uneventful shopping morning I stopped in to pick up some items to replenish my stock and was given incredible service by one of the make up artists. I have no time for pushy or arrogant employees and easily leave a store if this happens. However this artist made me feel like her best friend (maybe she sensed I was having a rough morning). She was kind, considerate and very helpful. And she brightened up my face/makeup giving me tips before I even realized what she was doing. While I definitely see new faces/employees here all the time I do appreciate that the customer service remains intact. They also keep your purchases on file and can easily access what you have bought in the past in case you forget (in my case always).

I went into the MAC pro at market mall while doing some Xmas shopping just to look before going back to it. I was greeted by three of the girls right away. After less than a minute of looking around one of the girls asked me if she could help. I was looking for a red lipstick that would suit my face given how pale I am. She was very helpful and even got excited to redo my eye makeup for me so it suited the red lipsticks better. She listened to what I wanted and didn't push more than that on me. In the end I left with a mini make over and new lipstick. When I walked by her store an hour later to leave she saw me and waved with a very friendly smile. Service for me was great at MAC and I felt great about myself too. I would drive there just for the same experience.

So I walked in, lugging a number of bags, which you'd think would make me look like a prime customer. I was the only CUSTOMER in the store but I think I know why. It was awkward. The girl behind the till had 3 gentlemen surrounding her and they were in the middle of a flirt-a-thon. It was like I didn't even exist. I get that it was Friday night and she clearly had game because it was a 1 girl : 3 boy ratio, but seriously... she was SUPPOSED to be working! I think I actually stopped mid store and just stared. I was completely flabbergasted by the fact that I was being completely ignored. So I stood there for a couple minutes just watching the courting in action and I must have been staring a little too hard cause at one point the girl looked at me and just smiled. I felt like I had walked in on something so I did an about turn and headed straight for the exit. I thought the customer was always right...but in this case, I was wrong to have assumed that I could have possibly gotten some service on a Friday night when work was OBVIOUSLY the furthest thing from the young girl's mind.

I ended up going home with bleeding cuticles and polish smeared on some of my fingers. I will be avoiding her in the future, if I ever return here. Again, very disappointing. The atmosphere and quality of the rest of the staff is so much better!

I booked my appointment through their on-line system and it was beyond easy, got an email instantly and confirmed my appointment. I arrived to my appointment 10 mins early and this wasn't a problem at all. I was greeted as soon as i walked in the door and was told that Kelsey would be with me shortly. The only down side is that there is only 2 chairs in the waiting area and another customer decided she needed the other chair for her purse and coat. However I didn't need to sit down to wait because Kelsey was out to greet me. She took me back and got me set up for my pedicure. She was very professional and even when I told her that my feet are ridiculously ticklish she just smiled and said not a problem. This store is extremely clean, the staff are friendly and professional and to top it all off I got to keep the bottle of nail polish! So happy that this place is close to home so I don't have to make the trek downtown anymore. Can't wait to book another appointment with these great ladies!

I can assure you that each and every person has been super helpful. When I was growing out my hair they explained the best ways to do that and made sure the trims were minimal. Booking over the phone is quick and easy and I've never had a problem, accept for that one time I dialed the wrong number :). It's an easy access location that looks really pleasing, even the waiting area is super nice. I don't think I have ever been into a hair salon that is as clean as this one is.
