I had a good time at this Sephora location in Harbor East! It's in a really convenient spot, especially if you live in the surrounding neighborhoods like Fells Point, making it an easy and enjoyable walk. I also love that it's close to the harbor and surrounded by other restaurants, shops, and boutiques, so you can easily make a day out of your visit if you want. I went right when the store opened in the morning, and the atmosphere was calm and welcoming. The staff I interacted with were all kind, approachable, and helpful, which made the experience even better. I typically know what I want and what I'm looking for, but it's still so fun to bounce off thoughts and ideas with the staff that are often established professional makeup artists. I really enjoy getting their perspectives on different products and learning about any new ones that I may not have been familiar with. The store itself was clean, well organized, and beautifully lit, which I really appreciated. It is a smaller location, but it still carries a great variety of products, including the staples you'd find at larger stores. I was looking for a specific perfume from a newer brand, and while they no longer carry it at this location, I appreciated learning that it is still be available at other stores or online. Definitely don't hesitate to ask if you're looking for something specific! I would recommend going earlier in the day, especially on weekends or when the weather is nice, as I can imagine it gets busy later on. Decent Sephora storefront in the Harbor East area of Baltimore city. It's really nice that we have a Sephora in the city and we don't have to drive to the county. I can actually walk here which is really nice. That said this is not a statement on this retail store but Sephora as a whole, it just doesn't feel as luxury as it used to be and this store is a little chaotic at times and they are usually out of the things that I want, but the staff is really friendly. I really am more of an online shopper but for certain things like I need color matched I will come in and the staff will help! read more

I had a full face makeup appointment scheduled on Saturday, October 27 in preparation for a wedding I was attending later that evening. About 2 hours prior to my appointment, I received a text stating the store had cancelled my appointment. I decided to still go and ask if I could have my makeup done. I had just flown into Baltimore that morning and was staying at a hotel around the corner from this store. The manager heard me out (listened attentively) and helped me secure a makeup session. I was very thankful! Thank you to Tamia for agreeing to do my makeup. She had such a beautiful energy and was super sweet and patient while I blinked like crazy while she was placing the eyeliner. I was very excited to check out this location. Found a parking spot right in front. It's metered so don't forget to pay. Walking distance from lots of other stores as well. The selection of fragrances and skincare and makeup was excellent. My daughter was able to get everything she wanted. The staff was very helpful everyone asked us did we need help etc etc etc they were over staffed if you ask me. read more

Writing this review solely for Charlie, a Sephora associate who went above & beyond with customer service. I came in looking for some makeup and skincare. Charlie patiently offered her honest opinions between the brands I was interested in. I complained about how I had been experiencing dry skin due to retinol, to which she recommended a hydrating primer with SPF along with instructions on when/how to apply before makeup. She also informed me on all the promotional discounts & how to receive a complementary gift bag. Thank you Charlie for the most attentive assistance I've seen at any Sephora location! read more

Absolutely beautiful new Sephora! Those of us in the neighborhood are so excited to shop here, daily and weekly! My coworker and I were peering in the door, 2 of the employees with big beautiful smiles waved us in. They said they are open for business and the grand opening/ribbon cutting being tomorrow, Friday August 13. There were a few other shoppers with us, all giddy with excitement. Who doesn't love a new makeup/hair/skincare/perfume store. The employees were wonderful! Friendly, helpful, not pushy. My coworker and I left with big bags of new goodies. I've been here a couple of times and the service is fantastic. Pretty much everyone I've interacted with in the store has been very approachable and helpful. The store is spacious with plenty of items. It never gets too congested and you have plenty of space to roam around and try on stuff. Parking is a little tight in that area so plan ahead. read more

I booked an appointment for a full face makeover very conveniently, and a few weeks in advance on the website. I arrived about 10 minutes before my appointment and was instantly greeted by one of the friendly associates who let me know the artist doing my makeup was on her way. He helped me pick out a moisturizer while I waited. He gave me a few options but didn't overwhelm me or try and sell me something super expensive. Omae did my makeup and it was an amazing experience from beginning to end! She was soooo kind, knowledgeable, and so skilled. I was nervous having someone I've never met do my makeup, but I couldn't of asked for a better outcome. Omae is an incredible asset to the store and I really enjoyed talking to her during my appointment. I also overheard the other artists who were very sweet and friendly to their clients It's artists like them that keep the customers coming back! read more

Sucks I have to rate this location as inconsistent with their service. This was only my 2nd time here and I was treated poorly by the sales lady with the big hair who looked me funny because SHE misplaced an item I was returning (placed on the counter which she saw when I first walked in and explained my reason for returning the item purchased just 2 days ago) once I went back to the counter to pay for another product I picked up. Of course after looking for the product frantically for a few minutes as I'm standing there, she found it behind the counter on the floor right in front of her. I'm generally easy going but how she acted toward me threw me off enough to write this - very unnecessarily rude and unprofessional. Whatever happened to courteously apologizing when you wrongfully insinuate a customer is lying. Please do better. read more

Brand new store, clean, and the beauty consultants are so knowledgeable and friendly. They offer to help and will provide samples when they can. They know their skincare game and willingly offer tips and suggestions for alternatives. Can't wait to head back over and pick up more goodies. read more

Came here for the first time to make a return and immediately was excited to see a nice big store. My sister was trying to make a return and she didnt have a receipt but she did have it listed on her Sephora account. You'd think she was asking for the world to make a simple return, it was awful. The worker Tea was rude and when we asked her about the return policy she was snappy, rude, and inaccurate. When I pulled up what the sephora website said she all of a sudden changed her answer about returns. It just made the experience awful. The worst part is she was training a new employee and showing him bad behavior on her part. We continued to shop even though we were treated poorly. The only person to approach us was Nicole who was extremely helpful. If I ever return to that store it will simply be because of the awesome customer service we recipe from Nicole. read more

Please do not waste your time coming to the Sephora location. Sonia, one of the customer service representatives, is nothing but rude and argumentative. Anytime she doesn't know an answer she has to call the manager. She will argue with you and make you feel like you're the one in the wrong even though you're the customer. However, shay the manager is very kind and helpful. Sonia should be fired. read more

I've had prettt bad experiences at nearly every other Sephora I've been in with lack of employee assistance, to the point that I only shop at Ulta now. I got a gift card for Sephora and decided to try this location and I have to say this will be my new go-to place for everything I need! The store is one of the largest Sephora's I've been to, and it is very well-maintained/clean and organized. ALL of the employees were SO friendly and helpful, which is so appreciated for people like me who don't know anything about makeup lol. Huge shoutout to Vee for taking her time to color-match and find the perfect products for me, giving her honest opinion & not just trying to sell the most expensive items. She even gave me a small sample of a color correcting product after I mentioned I struggle with redness on my face!!! Will definitely be coming back regularly and I can't wait :) thanks again ladies!!!! read more
