We were offered help as soon as we walked in the door. My granddaughter was looking for a new lip gloss. Sephora had a huge selection of products from every brand that you can imagine. She had chosen one, when I recommended the Lancôme version and what do you know, she liked it better! Grammy is an influencer, at least to her very own granddaughter! So, we purchased our lipgloss and were on our way. Thanks Sephora!

I was invited to the grand opening but missed the giveaways, DJ (music) and activities. I need to get better with my time management. Nonetheless, I still decided to stay and do some makeup retail therapy. Carlos assisted me with finding the products I had in my cart. Unfortunately, they didn't have in stock some of my wants: Huda Beauty Lipstick and the limited edition YSL perfume. Oh well, I guess I will buy it online like I typically do. I did receive a bag of popcorn (I spent a certain amount of money).. The lines were very long, so that was to be expected. Overall, I enjoyed my time there, but if you know, you know, I'm easy to please when it comes to makeup shopping, lol. Want more authentic and honest reviews? I've shopped at this location before, so I understand shoplifting is an issue, but at least greet customers instead of shadowing them. My second issue was with the pricing. I was purchasing four packs of Freetress crochet hair. Two of the packs were clearly marked $10.99, yet she rang one up for $10.99 and the others for $11.99. When I pointed out the price tags, she said, with attitude, that "prices change every day" and she would only honor one pack at $10.99. Then another item marked $3.99 rang up as $5.99. When I showed her the price, she repeated the same line: "our prices change every day." At that point, I told her she could keep everything. I'd rather go to Hair Depot, which just opened up the street. This store lost a customer today, but Hair Depot gained one. I value consistent pricing and respectful customer service.

She also worked with another manager at the store and was able to set up my next appointment with a specific tech - I believe it was Emily. Tiffany was very communicative via both text and DM on there Instagram account, which I used to schedule my next appointment. She was also there when I arrived for that appointment to ensure things went smoothly. Emily was very attentive during my service, and ultimately I was happy with this set. I did SNS and Emily finished with a gel top coat. Since I prefer to not have gel that is cured by UV, I may not return regularly. However, this salon has a huge selection of not only regular colors, but specialty colors as well, such as cat eye and jelly polishes. Jelly polishes are definitely on my list to try in the future, so I'll likely be back for that. I very much appreciate the team's outreach and support after my last review, and it's clear that they care greatly for the service they can provide their customers.

The owner also referred to my Instagram comments as "spam." Sharing the same truthful experience on multiple public platforms is not spam. IF THE OWNER IS WILLING TO SPEAK WITH ME AND PROVIDE THE GEL-X SERVICE WITH BASIC CUTICLE PREP INCLUDED, WITHOUT THE ADDITIONAL $10 FEE, I'M WILLING TO RESOLVE THIS AND REMOVE MY COMMENTS. I would not have posted any of this had there been a genuine effort to problem-solve with me at the salon. ---- I was extremely disappointed with my experience here, and I will never be coming back. I came in for Gel-X nails, and the technician began applying gel adhesive without even pushing back or properly prepping my cuticles. When I asked for my cuticles to be pushed back before the extensions were applied, I was told it would cost an additional $10. I completely understand charging extra for a full manicure or extensive cuticle trimming. What I do not understand is charging extra for basic nail preparation before applying extensions. Proper prep affects how the nails look, adhere, and last, and I was not comfortable having Gel-X applied to an unprepped nail bed, so I stopped the service. They also charge extra for gel polish, and even though I brought my own, there was no adjustment in price. I was already paying for an expensive pedicure with builder gel and gel polish, so the lack of flexibility over something as basic as cuticle prep felt excessive. I would not recommend this salon to someone who regularly gets their nails done and is willing to pay for quality service. I have no problem paying for my nails, but I do have a problem being charged extra for necessary parts of the service. At that point, it feels less like premium service and more like being ripped off.
