I told this to the man standing at the counter. He opens the bottle and tells me that there is nothing wrong with it. I tell him again and he says there is nothing wrong with it. I then tell him that I never said something was wrong with it. He tells me to lower my voice as if he is talking to his child. I asked if he sold anything less than 100% oil and he shows me something mixed with whatever. I asked him questions about it and he didn't know the answer. But he did know the answer when I asked for an exchange. "We don't do exchanges" he said. I don't know who he thinks he is but there are other places that sell oil and shea butter. I will never return to this dump. My advice is to spend your money where you will be appreciated as a customer.

AN ORGANIZED BEAUTY SUPPLY PLACE! FINALLY!…read more I used to live in Chicago, but relocated and I do miss this place. The service is pretty nice, but what really stops you in your tracks is the selection. They have all the big name brands like OPI, Essie, China Glaze, and also a few of the smaller brands. It is also one of the few beauty supply stores I have been to that is neat and clean. The aisles are also wide enough to comfortably shop in with a shopping cart. The prices are really reasonable. The only thing is that you need to have a license in order to shop here. I would recommend shopping here if you are starting out a beauty salon as it is like a one-stop shopping place. They also know their stuff, and have been around long enough to tell you the pros and cons of a product. I've had pretty good shopping experiences overall here, and definitely have it marked as a place to return to.

When checking out today, the cashier brought up some paper work from 2 years ago when I disputed credit I was suppose to receive back in return from bringing several items back in. Took over a week and a half to 2 weeks to hear back about my refund. I ended up disputing the amount on my Apple credit so they could give me back my credit instantly instead of waiting longer than I was suppose to, and dispute on my behalf. Apple disputed and adjusted my credit, so I got the correct amount back and they had their correct amount after the dispute. The employee even admitted that they got the correct amount of money back. They brought up pictures of me from video recording, and treated me like I was a thief. Found it interesting that they brought it to my attention today even though I've been shopping there consistently. They're happy to take your money, as long as you don't dispute them for not crediting back your refund in a timely manner. Don't know if the boss/owner was being incredibly petty, or something else, but after seeing that a young brown person was treated poorly at this establishment in one of these reviews, I'm not surprised at this behavior. Either way I spoke with the employee and he ended up sorting it out, knowing he was in the wrong, but said his boss was making him confront me. At least that was my understanding. This is not professional whatsoever ever, and I've given this shop a lot referrals (to my family and friends). After seeing some of these reviews about the behavior of the employees and owner, I don't think I'll be coming back. Also, seeing that someone reported seeing roaches there, I'm definitely not coming back!! Fucking gross!
