When I saw Bluey books displayed I was surprised as it's not something a "comic book"/"nerd" shop is going to carry especially since they have a lot of independent TTRPG games I'm not familiar with. Then I found their youth selection of books -Goosebumps to The Babysitter's club to horror genre for young adults. They're not just a shop that caters to Funko Pop Culture to get by so they can have their Indy games and Call of Cthulhu game sessions. The staff was so helpful in giving me a ton of information and helping me with my needs. I had so many recommendations and they knew what they were talking about. I love that this place is about cultivating from a young age a love of books. I highly recommend this store over the other "nerd" stores in the surrounding area. I've been to them and was so disappointed with their selection of games and books and also the lack of professionalism.

Cheating out on keeping the back issues in clean and identical/uniform looking display sometimes hinders me from even digging. Flipping through a store that clearly replaces every bag and board in the back issue section makes you feel like you're digging through one gigantic comic book collectors collection. It's satisfying. I can't stress that enough. A+++ shop. Best in the area.

I found parallel parking right in front on the store, I'm sure there's a lot close by if parallel parking isn't your thing. The store is narrow but they have made excellent use of the space. There are tons of comics, books, action figures and even a small selection of reasonably priced vinyl records. The employee was talking to a younger comic book fan while I was there, suggesting what to read and characters he might like. I could tell the employee had a real passion for what he was doing, it was very nice. I'm glad I made the trip to Baytown, it's a really cool store.

We understand that this pokemon set is very popular but did not have the time or means to preorder it and were going to stores hoping that they would have some the day after, even knowing they most likely would not- it nevet hurts to try. We were not expecting to be put down simply because we have lives and work to do outside of sitting on the site refreshing hoping to get a box. Will not be returning here.

However this time, the punk behind the counter was a complete ass. He told me that they don't allow backpacks (my laptop bag) in the store. This is understandable so I ask if I can give it to him to set behind the counter while I shop. He says no and that I need to put it in my car.
