Since I love that drink so much, I decided to try their Brown Sugar Bubble Tea. The tapioca was perfected, as expected, but the drink itself was so gross. It tasted like 2% milk with bleached sugar mixed in. No other flavors. I ended up not being able to drink it and would not recommend it to anyone without adding additional flavor shots. Their jumbo california rolls are yum. The jasmine drink and jumbo california rolls are my go to when ordering from here.

However, they were plenty busy with takeout orders. Service was quick as the waiter took our order down and our food was out within MINUTES! I ordered the Shoyu Ramen, which was a pretty good ramen considering they weren't a restaurant that specialized in ramen. The ramen was very tasty and like any other I've ordered from legit ramen restaurants. My wife ordered a custom poke bowl, which we've ordered many times before for pickup. The bowl was MASSSIVE and seemingly much bigger than what they typically give for takeout orders, although their takeout poke bowls are very generous too. For our kids, we ordered the House Special Fried Rice, which came with eggs and Chinese sausage. It was a solid fried rice and we were quite surprised it came with Chinese sausage because it's an ingredient we rarely see used for fried rice entrees at restaurants. Overall, our dining experience here was good and we loved that it was nice and quiet. It never got super busy, but a few parties did come in after us. The bread and butter of their business is definitely takeout though.

It had all the elements you'd expect, but to have "Detroit" in your name, and I can find better "Detroit pies" in Hackensack or Chatham --- I'm okay.
